Got sold some very disappointing and overly crunchy danishes, but also got a loaf of sourdough bread that was quite tasty so maybe give it a squeeze check before you buy- or maybe the danishes were abnormal for them but be warned.

Cute little coffee shop with a charming interior and very friendly staff. I found the selection of pastries at the time of our visit to be pretty minimal and the coffee was so hot I could barely hold on to it. Yes I know, coffee is meant to be hot but a coffee collar would have been helpful.

Coffee is very good. But would be nice if they offered just a simple black drip coffee. Went to buy coffee for several people in my office, and each one had to be a specialty coffee. They also don't have any milk/cream to go, which is again unfortunate if you're buying for multiple people and don't know their preferences. I appreciate the emphasis on the environment. But customer service is important too. Offering milk/cream in a compostable cup would work, but it came with another 50 cent charge after spending quite a lot on several specialty coffees. They could have offered to waive the charge this one time etc, and I would have gone back with the understanding of how it worked. But next time I'll likely just go to Tim Hortons if buying for several people. Coffee was otherwise very good, just not great if buying for several people in an office.

This little cafe is bright and lovely. Service was unreal, they even make their own almond milk! Not too much seating due to covid, but I'll definitely return to try their breakfast/lunch items!

I had an americano and apple roll up thingy. It was really bready but still tasty, especially after being heated. The floor and table were really really dirty. The barista was sitting there on her phone the whole time i sat in. I was the only customer and instead of bringing me the coffee she yelled across the cafe. (I understand it’s not a table service setup so can’t hold it against them but it seemed weird. I’ve worked at similar cafes for years and would have just placed it on the table if there weren’t any other customers).

Place looks really nice and owner is nice but cappuccino is a bit expensive. 6.50 for a cappuccino to go is slightly excessive.

Tasty veggie panini and amazing chocolate croissant. I asked and...yes...the baker uses only butter. YUM!!! Also had a cappuccino and took home a loaf of sourdough bread. It made excellent toast! They must have taken the appearance comments to heart - the café was very clean and the staff was welcoming. I highly recommend you give them a try.

Stayed at the Hampton Inn this week and saw this adorable cafe next door. Was so excited to walk over in the morning before a day of meetings and grab a festive latte. The owner informed me that she doesnt do festive drinks until Dec 1. I totally get that and didn’t think anything of it until she continued to complain about celebrating the holidays too early and that things should be kept as nondenominational as possible for as long as possible. That’s her choice but I didn’t appreciate being made to feel bad for wanting to have a little joy after the last 2 years we’ve had. Honestly, an attitude like that deters patrons from coming back even after Dec 1.

I stopped at this cute little place on a whim for lunch on my way downtown and I'm so happy I did! The atmosphere was lovely and the girl working (maybe the owner?) Was super helpful in filling me in on what they have. They make their oat milk in house and everything else is either made in house or local. For it being 1pm when I was by, they definitely deserve to be busier than they were 10/10 would recommend.
