The best bagels in Halifax ! Always fresh and just the right amount of chewyness. They are flavorful and so good. Their cream cheeses are fantastic and they make it all in house. The only thing I would change is that I wish they offered some lactose free cream cheese options to take home :) their scallion cream cheese is everything. We always go on Wednesdays for their dozen bagels sale. Great local bake shop! Can't say enough good things.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZZINNGGG!!! We walked in and got a sample of cream cheese without even asking! There is a WIIDEE variety of bagels and cream cheeses and all the ones we tried were delicious! We bought a total of 5 bagels and we have no regrets, super friendly customer service. We will definitely be coming back. They also sell their cream cheese which we wish we bought but there's always next time!

Great fresh bagels. I personally love the Cheddar Jalapeno bagels with Herb and Garlic cream cheese. Always a great place to start your day or just relax with a bagel and coffee. We grab a half dozen every 2-3 days so they are fresh, obviously best when still warm.

Excellent bagels at really good prices. Wife and I had bagel egg breakfast sandwiches there and they were delicious! Their selection of bagels is really good too - sweet and savoury options. They also have a large selection of cream cheeses (some inventive flavors!) which you can also buy to go. These aren't your normal bagels - fresh and no preservatives so if you've been thinking of going, definitely do yourself a favor and go in!

In my opinion, there is literally no where else to buy bagels in this province except Izzy's. Izzy's is perfect and the holy grail of bagels. The bagels here are fresh, and soft and delicious. You often don't even need to toast them they are SO fresh! Great variety of flavours, and the cream cheese is always so flavorful and sometimes rotates with seasonal ingredients. My favourites are a chocolate chip bagel with scallion cream cheese, or jalapeno cheddar bagel with caramel apple cream cheese (don't knock it till' you try it!!) I do usually ask for half the amount of cream cheese, but that's simply a personal preference and most people love the generosity of cream cheese - plus, they NEVER pile it into the vacant middle of the bagel which I appreciate very much. The only constructive criticism I have is that the staff are hit and miss. There are a few we try to avoid, but a few that are really stellar and helpful and attentive. Regardless, I still give them five stars. All day, every day. I do not regret driving 20+ mins to get here.

Fresh, delicious bagels, made in house. Easily the best bagels outside of Montreal! I had the bruschetta and pizza bagels. They were flavourful and filling. The chocolate chip bagel was surprisingly delicious, but my favourite was definitely the cheddar herb with their cream cheese.

Enjoyed a French Toast Bagel this week at Izzy's Bagel Co. This will satisfy your sweet tooth! Paired with a Java Blend dark roast coffee. Absolutely delicious!! Only reason I didn't give five stars is because I find the parking a bit of a pain, especially in the winter. They are a definite five + when it comes to their quality of bagels, flavors and cream cheese choices. They have other items as well. Haven't tried them yet though. Enjoy!

I like their bagels more than the montreal style bagel at Wyse Rd. I love that they have different flavoured cream cheese! When it comes to customer service and cleanliness, the one at Dartmouth(montreal style bagel store) is better.

Mostly a take out bakery, but some limited seating inside. Couple of picnic tables outside when weather cooperates. Definitely a place to get great, fresh bagels large. Large variety to choose from, and good variety of cream cheeses to top them off. Also decent coffee! Loving it!

I loved Izzy's bagels , I've been going their for many many years now but lately whenever I ordered bagel with cream cheese I noticed that they apply a very thin layer of cream cheese .I can barely taste the cream cheese in it..I hope the owner get aware of this and take care of the issue..

Some of the best bagels you will ever find in hrm. The staff is nice, and the inside is nicer than it appears from outside. But the physical location is awful. The parking lot is a mess and it is hard to get in and out. Not really Izzy's fault, but I would think they would do even more business in a better spot.

Always a good experience going here. Crazy good prices for bagels whether you're buying by the half-dozen/dozen, or if you're grabbing a sandwich. Their covid protocols are easy to follow, and you never really feel cramped in there while you're waiting for your food, which is an added bonus.

Never actually tried anything off their menu, but I really wanted to! Myself and my girlfriend attempted to buy supper from here earlier today, and they were serving another couple in front of us. Both workers did see us waiting in line for approximately 15 to 20 min, but neglected to let us know that they were out of stock until the couple in front of us left. All they had to do was let us know as we walked in that they did not have the supplies to serve us-but instead said condescendingly-after waiting that-"nooo we're out haha". Not the best customer service from a local business! Just go to Tim Hortons, they at least will not waste your time. Edit: Nope! it was at this location around 4pm. By the time we left it was 4:15 to 4:20. Just thought you should be aware!

Izzy’s is a must have every weekend at our house. Their freshly made bagels and cream cheese are second to none. Sometimes, the bagels are still warm when you get them. Lots of flavors to choose from, and they seem to be replenished regularly throughout the day. Staff are always friendly and clearly hard working!
