This has quickly become a favourite bakery to shop at in Dartmouth. The loaves of bread are double-long and they can slice it onsite for you. Their molasses brown bread is one of the best I've had. Check out their display counter - the cakes are delicious and you can purchase three slices for a variety package to try them all. You do NOT want to miss out on the cream puffs. On my first visit another customer warned me they were addictive... and she was right. I picked up this tasty coconut macaroons today which are over 90% coconut - no need for flour! The assorted shortbread cookies melt in your mouth - perfection! While the owners service many restaurants around the city, they are open to the public which is lucky for us lovers of great bread and sweet treats.

It’s not easy to choose between their products as they are all delicious. I am a bread lover. Their whole-wheat toasts and Sangak are my number one favorite. Knowing their products are more natural and preservative free is a bonus for me. DEFINITELY recommend to try!

They are baking a great range of flat breads such as Lavash, Sangak, and Barbari. Their Challah, Brown bread, and Cream puffs are amazing. My favorite is sweet naan cracker with feta cheese. The crackers are not too much sweet which is a good option to take with salty feta cheese.

I have been into the Halifax Bread Factory MANY times. I love their Brown Bread!! So good!!! It reminds me of the brown bread we would eat with baked beans, when I was a little girl!! I stop buy and buy a loaf every couple of weeks. They are long loaves, so they last that long for me!!!

We have been buying all our bread here for some years, and always received high quality products. The owners are very helpful to explain a product or provide cooking and serving suggestions.

First time shopping here so I decided to just buy a loaf of plain white bread. The lady handed it to me from behind a display case. She explained there are no preservatives so to eat it fast or refrigerate it or freeze it. Noticed as soon as I got home there are 2 tiny blue mold spots on the bottom starting already...not very impressed. Not very fresh if its already molding....

I Love Bread!!!! I particularly like the bread here. It’s taste and texture are just what bread should be. In my opinion this is the best bread in the city. If you purchased a little too much, make a bread pudding, croutons or French toast. If you toast it for breakfast it will put a smile on your face for the rest of the day.

Had some swril shaped desert with cream filling. Appearance was really good but bland tasting. The cream filling was oily and devoid of real ingredients. Almost like it was watered down with chemicals for cost savings.

Clean, well organized store with bread, cakes, baked goods, nuts, and Iranian products. Product presentation is impeccable and it’s hard not to want to buy multiple items as gifts or snacks. Plenty of parking in the plaza. I would recommend dropping by and checking out what they have in store.
