Friends and I were walking by and decided to pop in after hearing so much about the doughnuts. We arrived just before closing at 8pm but the staff welcomed us in. We bought 4 delicious doughnuts and split between the five of us. All we super decadent and yummy! My regret is not trying the Kitty Cream... next time!

Donuts look good but don't taste as good as they look. I've had many donuts in my life but these ones rank near the bottom, unfortunately. The dough is a little too loose and feels like it's missing something. It's like it's somewhere in between a yeast and a cake donut. Also the donuts I had couldve had about 30 percent more flavour. Nice looking shop, but for me, the donuts aren't up to par.

What a lovely little shop. The decor was great, but let's talk about the donuts! I tried a classic sprinkle. The donut batter was really lovely. It was light, fluffy, and delightful. The downfall was that the icing was so sweet! So sweet. The pumpkin spice donut had a much better balanced of sweet and spice, but still lacked a bit on the pumpkin spice end. Overall I'll definitely come back!

If you’re an indecisive person this isn’t a good place to cope with that. I have gone in there with a plan of which and how many donuts I want and always come out with more than what I anticipated and I’m not mad about it! what’s convenient is they poste their daily available selections on their social medias. The service has always been fantastic and to add ive often gotten a complementary donut which I will never complain about. As much as I adore their creative and seasonal flavours, my go to has always been the old fashion, cinnamon twists. I highly recommend this as a stop on anyones donut craving list and if you haven’t tried it yet run.. don’t walk. *available on skip the dish* Thanks for the great ????

Visited this place after Pride and was blown away by the selection and the uniqueness. I had the Trans Puff (Boston Cream inside). It was awesome. I ordered the Pride explosion for my partner and it was basically a sweet sandwich of awesome. Definitely worth a visit if you haven’t already been there.

I went there on the weekend to check out the place. The inside of the shop looked amazingly decorated with lots of colors and props. There were a variety of donut choices at a price that appeared slightly more than your typical donut shop like Timmies for example. I tried the 'sugar baby' and yeah it was very tasty. They have in-shop areas for customers to eat in as well as a few tables set up outside facing Gottingen street. Overall, it looked very good.

The experience was absolutely magical. You walk into a colorful Willy Wonka-like shop with photos, and a massive display of the delicious donuts of the day. My first trip I got the "She's Salty" and "Reese's Pieces Dip" and now have a craving to go back tomorrow and buy a douzen. Definitely worth the trip!!

The store is nicely layed out, staff are friendly! Some donuts were good, some not so good! Seems they aren’t made fresh daily, as cookies and cereal bites toppings are very very stale! But the peanut butter one with the Reese bits were very tasty with a smack in the face of peanut butter flavour !

We decided on a whim to stop in. Our first time going in. With all the self isolation going on, we thought what the hell. My god! We are 2 down with 4 to go and so far they have been amazing. They are light, fluffy and NOT greasy which is what my wife and I like. The toppings are delicious and very creative. Needless to say we'll be back!! Keep up the great work!

You get large donuts that I find is a little steep in price little over 4 dollers for a donut but they are delicious none the less and have a large selection of of new donuts that anyone would like.

Ok, so listen. I grew up with the holy grail of doughnuts in Ontario. In my heart, I never thought they could be beat. But OH. MY. WORD. If you have not had a doughnut from here - Go. Now. Actually. When my mom and Grandma were visiting, we got a few to try; a Dunkaroo one (holy nostalgia Batman), a tiramisu one, and a maple walnut one. Even my Grandma said it was the best doughnut she has ever had, and she is SUPER picky about anything sweet. They are soft, and light and the brains behind the flavours of these magical morsels are literal geniuses that I both love and hate dearly. A trip to Halifax is simply not complete without a stop at Fortune.

We were tempted to go again before heading back home to Moncton, but decided to savour the memory and keep this on our list for next time we're in Halifax. Fortune Doughnuts is AMAZING! This place has upped the Halifax doughnut game for sure. The shop is colorful and run, the staff friendly and the doughtnuts delicious and creative. They have vegan options and I have heard that they make their dough from scratch, whereas the competitor supposedly uses a packaged mix. I will certainly go back next time I am visiting Halifax.

Had the pleasure of finally trying Fortune Donuts and it did not disappoint. Always tough to open up against the hottest thing in town and I have to say they’re going to give the competitor a run for their money. These donuts were delish. Not greasy and the icing and glaze were still fresh tasting. Felt like they were a bit bigger than most donuts too. All around loved them! Highly recommend.

Location is good, however, it is not easy to find parking. The store provides a unique products. Is not only the doughnuts. It about the variety and the taste. The doughnuts ???????????? are delicious and large. Cleanliness is plausible. Girls working there are nice and welcoming. Prices, are $$. Doesn't mean you shouldn't try it. My conclusion, I liked it and I see you will love it.

Doughnuts are absolutely delicious. Once you have these you'll never go back to Tim's. We got them delivered by skip when it was just too hot to be outside. These doughnuts were perfect for our movie day in front of the fan. Next time we will ask for the "step-up" box with fritters and filled doughnuts. Great donuts, no complaints there, but make sure to call for any custom orders. I was so excited to get a customized MTL Canadiens cake for my husband's birthday that I thought was confirmed. Twice now I have had the Apple Fritter with a tiny piece of apple in it. A little bit disappointing. However, I have tried the other donuts and they are very good. Hopefully they will fix the Apple Fritter. The first Apple Fritter I had was loaded with apple and the best I have ever had.

I've been here twice now and I'm a bit split on what to think. The doughnuts aren't nearly as greasy as other competitors, which is a definite upside. I like the ideas of the doughnuts, I just wish they delivered a bit more for the price. The carrot cake oreo doughnut, for example, I expected maybe a carrot cake doughnut with the toppings to go with it, but it was just a plain doughnut with the carrot cake toppings. If I'm spending $15-$20 for 6 doughnuts, I expect to be "wowed" a bit more.

The BEST doughnuts! I live in Toronto and have watched as friends frequent Fortune and post pictures, super jealous. So when I visited last weekend I KNEW I had to go, and I was not disappointed. (Original) 단언코 도넛은 포춘도넛이라할수잇다. 반달보다는 좀 더 가벼운식감인데 포슬포슬해서 더 맛잇다. 장식들이 얼마나 이쁜지 ㅜㅜ 디자인센스로 따지자면 포춘도넛이 요즘감성이잇고 반달이 클래식한느낌이잇다. 포춘은 앉아서 먹을수잇는 테이블이잇어서 더 좋다.

It is hard to find good doughnuts now but not if you know where to look. Not once have I had a bad doughnut from fortune. Always light, fluffy and full of flavor, you can tell that they put effort into making each one great. Walking into the shop has to make you smile, the wall decorating is fantastic and fits the name perfectly. Good people, good doughnuts, need I say more?

The doughnuts have a soft, fluffy yet filling dough. Defiantly worth the price. I like that the Skor doughnut was crushed Skor bar instead of just Skor bits.
