This place is awful, bagels are dry and hard with no flavour. Customer service was meh. We thought that you could buy single bagels, but the woman behind the counter seemed to enjoy the fact that we could only buy half a dozen. The cream cheese is sold separately for some reason. None of this is clear on their website, and their advertising is confusing. At least they have a comfortable bench :/

My girlfriend and I arrived after closing and the owner was still around. We arrived at least an hour after closing... He opened the store up and gave us a free loaf of bread! We were amazed at his kindness and generosity. I can say after going here at least a dozen times that they make amazing bread! Never disappointed!! One of my favourite local businesses in Halifax. If you like bread go here!!

Their chocolate chip cookies are hands down the best in the city. Their bagels are absolutely fantastic, maybe the best as well although we have 3 really great bagel places locally so it's a tough call.. but you can't go wrong with anything you buy here, and the staff are lovely.

This place is great. Friendly staff and fair prices. Best chocolate chip cookies in the city. Bagels are a no brainer. Challah bread is literally the best thing you can use to make French toast. They are the suppliers for your favorite restaurant's bread in many cases. Skip the middle man and go to the source.

So far got bagels seven or eight times since they opened, all but once bagels were still super warm from the oven and every time they've beem blissful to devour with cream cheese or butter. Not going to be shopping for bagels anywhere else anytime soon.

My husband and I love the buns and bread from you guys (the bagels are delicious too, but we never eat them fast enough! They are great for when company comes over)... but for about a year we thought your bakery was called "BAGELS BAGELS BAGELS" because of the sign in your window. Wow. Such thick, delicious bagels (everything and Cinnamon Sugar are my 2 favourites), sweet and fluffy Challah breads (including cinnamon raisin or chocolate), and large beautiful cookies. And even better owner and staff members, I've always been impressed with their friendliness and random generosity of an extra this or that :) Been back already, will be back many more times!!

Sesame bagels are life. This place has been open less than a week and I already know I'm going to be a regular. The counter staff are excited to be working there, and the goods are delicious. If your bagels are still warm from the oven (bliss!) keep the bag open when you leave so the steam can get out. And maybe tear into one as soon as you're out the door. No one can judge you.

He's always busy making fresh product so know what you want when you go into his bakery or be prepared to wait behind those that do. He's a bakery, not a cafe. His shop should be routine with the rest of your grocery shopping!

Tried an assortment of cookies and an upside down cake. All wonderful. Will try bagels and bread next time. They could charge an entry fee just to enjoy the smells from the ovens. And such courteous and helpful staff. A gem this place.

(Translated) I went to the Asian Mart and it smelled so good, so I went in like a charmer, and then came out with a bunch of bread! I went after 3pm, and the bagels were already sold out. Cookies and sourdough just came out of the oven and I bought two of them. Please eat cookies and cookies????????????!! Crispy and chewy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. As soon as I bought the sourdough, I ate 1/3 of it????????????. My husband really liked the sourdough! Thank you and good luck during burger week! (Original) 아시안마트 가다가 냄새가 너무너무 좋아서 홀린듯 들어갔다가 한아름 빵 사들고 나왔어요! 3시 쫌 넘어서 갔는데, 베이글은 이미 다팔리고 없었고 쿠키랑 사워도우가 갓 오븐에서 나와서 그거 두개 사들고 왔어요. 쿠키 와 쿠키 꼭 드세요????????????!! 겉에는 바삭하면서 쫀득하고, 안에는 부드러우면서 너무 찰지네요. 사워도우도 사오자마자 1/3을 먹었어요????????????.
