Loved the passion fruit and peach cake, went back for a second round the same day and got mochi red bean cake. The cake had the right amount of sweetness and texture. The bread was so soft and chewy. The staff (especially the baker) was very nice and passionate :) highly recommend!!

This is probably my favourite bakery in the entirety of HRM, and as a trained pastry chef, that's big statement for me. It's taken a long time for me to find a place that is producing such a consistently delicious and interesting product, and boy does Creamy Rainbow deliver. From absolutely adorable, Instagrammable (and delicious!!) macarons to giant cream puffs, and beautiful cakes, they have the perfect treat for everyone.

Loved this place as soon as I walked through the door ???? Beautiful interior and atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, and the food! Omg the food! Highly recommend the Matcha Creampuff & Black Sesame Creampuff. Even for the sceptical and non-adventurous palette, those two flavors are sure wow and satisfy!

Under-rated. Please check this place out. It's a great bakery, they do their own baking. Prices are competitive with or better than the other high quality bakeries like the Gingerbread House and The Old Apothecary. My 7 year old niece is a macaron connoisseur and said that theirs is a 10/10. I also had an eclair and a lemon tart, both were excellent. Beyond the taste, the look of stuff from here is just beautiful. They have a very cool doggie cake that I didn't try but looks beautiful. I took to go, but the place is nice and quiet and a wonderful spot for a date. Easy to make a day out if it and a picnic on Citadel Hill. It's only been open for 5 months so far.

Their prices may be a bit on the high end but everyone raves about their awesome pastries. They have both sweet and savoury items. I wish they had more vegan options since they already use so many dairy alternatives...but maybe one day.

I just popped in here for the first time and OH MY GOD the cupcake I had ... red velvet with cream cheese frosting. It was flawless. Pretty and tasty. Nice cappuccino too- I will definitely be back. Very cute place and friendly staff!

Magnificent! Nice ambience, delicious food, amicable staffs will make you feel very welcoming. Once you try them out, most likely you would want to go again. The cake we received was beyond our expectations. Attached photo. It's doesn't have fancy designs. The cake was so delicious and soft we sort of ate to the last bit including it's cream. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Special note, the cake chef, the lady has an amazing personality that completely matches with the cakes she bakes.

I love this bakery/cafe in the building where I work. It’s such a cute environment, and the orange and coconut lattes are amazing. The barista is always super nice and courteous, even when customers are really rude, which is very impressive. (Let’s not be rude to baristas or servers, they have a tough job!) :)

We ordered custom cake . Pretty much good . But the taste was not upto the mark as expected . Cake was nicely done . Would recommend them to improve on their flavour skills . They would do much better. If anyone visiting for custom cakes do taste the flavour you want and then place the order .

Very cute shop, macarons were adorable and done as animals. I had a black sesame cream puff and WOW was it delicious! Very rich, but the craquelin on top gave a nice crunch and change in texture. I also ordered a coconut latte which was delicious, but next time I'd get it without toasted coconut on top. When it mixed with the latte it was a bit strage to have bits in my drink. Would definitely recommend this spot if you're in the mood for a pastry!

Fantastic. Like a little Japanese-korean coffee house appeared in the sky and landed in Halifax. Key here is it's Asian-fusion pastry cozy. Great for second date, small groups, late sweet snack, catching up with friends. Coffee is phenomenal, pastries awesome. You'll pay a little bit extra premium for the amazing options and quality of ingredients, but it's totally worth it. Grab a red bean loaf, split it between 2-3 people with warm drinks. Just missing a Halifax fog, and they're starting with non-pork options for savoury treats (yay all-beef!). Vegetarian options are here too, but vegan options not quite yet due to their dough. Another gem in Halifax that elevates the city.

Just stopped by to get the open city special, a photo was printed on the menu alongside the price. After paying what seemed to be the price for 3, we received just one macaron instead of the ones portrayed in the picture. As a Graphic Designer, I'm aware of the information thats needs to be on menus, the photo was misleading. If you want to be legally safe in this case, a simple warning would be enough like "images are merely illustrative". But since there was none, be mindful that this might be false advertising.

The staff and atmosphere are nice. I did not like their latte, it was bitter and not that good and very expensive for a small latte. I went in the last hours so almost everything to eat was gone. I would suggest using less unnecessary plastic to wrap cakes and food. It is located downtown where parking is usually harder to find. And it is accessible.

This was one of customizable cake we did , Even though bit expensive I would say this was one of the best I ever had, it was not too sweet as well it had fruits (strawberries , pineapple, )in it and it was lovely. For those people who doe not love to much sugar do check em out !!

Amazing experience. The atmosphere, staff, and product(from what I tried) is top notch. It is pricey, but I have to say that I was much happier to spend my money here and thoroughly enjoy, than elsewhere and be disappointed! Highly recommend!

I tried the Earl Grey cream puffs and paired it with an Earl Grey Tea (very original I know). Both were amazing and the cream puff blew me away! The atmosphere was beautiful and selection of baked goods was impressive. Looking forward to trying their macarons next time, I know how difficult they are to make in this humid climate!

I went back twice more since the first time. So far I was able to order their cream puff with black sesame which I like, pastry with black rice fillings which is not my favourite, black pastry with cream cheese and crab fillings which was pretty good, house-made strawberry drink which was too sweet for my taste buds, their mocha latte and gojiberry tofu pudding were still the ones I like more.

Very good orange cappuccinos, that soft orange flavour is so worth trying out. The custard bun was very tasty, the texture was just perfect. For cakes, they have a selection of cheesecakes, I got the mango one which was good, but the bottom part made of crackers needs to be improved, it's as rock-hard as the ones that you buy frozen, and you can't really eat it. I would definitely suggest making their own crust with a bag of crushed Graham crackers and butter (or add more butter if making their own).

Everything was extremely disappointing. I had an extremely mediocre small dirty chi latte which tasted like nothing other than watered down tea. I also got a pistachio creme puff which also has little flavor other than the sugar and puff pastry on the outside. The cream was very runny and tasted like have pistachio described to you. I would not be so harsh if it was not for the worst part that it cost $13!? There are endless places to go for cheaper.
