Bakery specializing in wedding/custom cakes that also has a small retail space selling a few simple treats including squares, butter tarts, cupcakes and macarons. You can taste that quality ingredients and good chocolate have been used in the making of their treats. With one big crack and corner piece of chocolate missing from my piece, the slice job needs to be improved on those squares though. ;) - Mimi's Cake Tour

My wedding cake was a dream come true! They were able to accommodate my gluten free lactose free restrictions, as well ensure there was delicious cake for everyone else. It was moist, flavourful, and exactly what we wanted. It was a hit and I was more than happy to tell everyone where it was made! The price was reasonable and worth every penny!! Thank you ladies.

I can't say enough great things about Anne and Wellington Cakes. I searched high and low for a baker for our wedding cake and couldn't find a high quality product AND a professional, courteous baker to work with. Everywhere I went felt like a tradeoff - one or the other, never both, and usually giant deposits and old frozen samples. Anne took all the time to sketch out options for my husband and I, provided high quality samples with coffee and tea, and was friendly and professional throughout the whole process. I must have taken over an hour of her time during that first appointment and she never rushed me. Her prices were fair and the final cake wowed our guests. The top tier was delicious one year after our wedding (we froze it and kept it for the occaision). Since, I've been back many times for cupcakes and coffee, and am always greeted and served promptly, and the cupcakes are seriously just to die for. They're always fresh and delicious.

Anne was so easy to work with and the cake and macarons we had at the wedding were delicious! We went with a quilted design found on Pinterest and Anne did the design better than the inspiration photo! Everything was great and delivery and coordination was smooth and stress-free. We highly recommend her!

It was my first time to order the birthday cake here. I had communicated with owner Anne a few times by email before and she replied in time and more patience. The birthday cake which I chose the style and taste, it was quite beautiful with fresh materials and delicious. My family all liked it so much. I think that I will order the birthday cake next time when someone’s birthday. Also, I will recommend Anne to my friends.

Wellington Cakes made the cake for my wedding last Saturday, and I was delighted with it! Anne was so kind and accommodating in helping choose a cake that was appropriate for a small, intimate wedding. We opted for a single-tier 7" round cake which was perfect as we had fewer than 15 guests. Tasty, elegant, and easy to cut. Made excellent use of the extra bloom from our florist. We had Wellington Cakes do the cake for our wedding back in May 2019. It was half chocolate (with raspberry filling) and vanilla (with strawberry filling), with a lovely butter cream and dripped chocolate icing. It was the most delicious cake we have ever had. It has been almost a year since our wedding and we still rave about that damn cake! The process for picking out/designing our cake was super easy. We had a one-on-one appointment with samples and it was super helpful and fun. We highly recommend this place for your wedding cake needs - 10/10 for customer service and tasty cake!

The best gluten free cupcakes! They were perfectly delicious and beautiful. There are tons of flavour combinations that are gluten free and also, delicious!!! We chose a vanilla cake with lemon filling and strawberry buttercream, chocolate cake and chocolate buttercream, and a walnut cake with maple buttercream: amazing. Although their baking space is not Celiac safe, we chose to continue with our order and for us/our needs it was safe and no cross contact occurred with our order. Additionally, Anne is incredibly helpful and prompt in communication. Thank you for such a wonderful and delicious experience! Will be ordering again!

I can't say enough about Wellington Cakes and Anne. She has been incredible with our wedding cake and postponing this past year. When we decided to order a second cake, I gave her the colours I'd like, the flavour (white chocolate & raspberry, it was delicious!!) and to make it simple and elegant. I was BLOWN AWAY with what she and her team was able to create. She was so flexible as I changed the delivery time on her about 3 times. If I could give Wellington Cakes more than 5 stars, I would!

Fantastic experience with Wellington Cakes! I paid $60 for this 6” round gender reveal cake. Was perfect for my special occasion and virtual gender reveal. Staff was super friendly as well when I picked up. I placed my order via email, and called Anne to confirm my payment information. We ordered our wedding cake from Wellington Cakes, and the entire experience was great! They were able to fit us in fairly last minute, made a custom cake flavour to make our custom tea party favours, and to top it all off it looked incredible! Exactly what we wanted! The cake was so tasty and moist, would definitely recommend. Prices were very reasonable and fair too.
