Located at 340 Woodlawn Road West, in the plaza.. you have to look for the big banners in the windows announcing.. Manufactured here is the brand Newtons No Gluten in a dedicated gluten free environment... these folks here focus on creating products for people who live with life threatening allergies.. they supply this brand to many local retail outlets. But you can get it all here. It is also a Dedicated Nut Free zone, seafood free, dairy free, and with the exception of soy lecithin in the chocolate for one dessert.. a soy free zone. 80% of their offerings fall into the vegan food category. I met the Newtons while they were stocking their product on the shelves in a Sobeys store in Toronto. I was stressed out about my new dietary restrictions and they showed me the light....not really it was more like their chocolate cupcakes and I am now in love. I am so excited to try their other products.

Although this company seems to have a great mission, I was deeply disturbed to see that they had TUBS of Palm Oil being sold at Sobeys... When you buy palm oil, you are contributing to deforestation and the extinction of the Sumatran Orangutan and many of the other critically endangered animals that inhabit the areas where palm oil plantations are flourishing. The cheapest vegetable oil on earth comes at such a great cost. #palmsoffpalmoil

Great products! On a restrictive diet, sometimes eating good food can be hard to come by. This is not the case with Newton's No Gluten. The pie dough is melt in your mouth flaky, the dessert bars just as delicious as you could imagine. I've seem them at local food shows, and also in my little town grocery store.

Love love there products, I have lots of food allergies and thought what am I going to enjoy then I saw at my local foodland in owen sound Newtons products and saw my major allergies are not in some of there products I was excited to try and man I am happy I did, I have made the brownie mix and pancakes and they are fabulous.. if anyone has food allergies especially common ones you will feel safe knowing Newtons cares and has your back to have you enjoy baked goods and breads again. This is the only bread that I am able to eat as it does not have any rice ingredients. I have been unable to get this amazing bread at my local store due to COVID causing delivery delays. After emailing back and forth with the company I decided to make a trip up to the store this weekend. My order was ready for pick up once I arrived. Amazing curbside customer service. Thank you.

It was great to finally find a bakery that caters for people that are lactose intolerant. My son really enjoyed the chocolate cupcakes. The rest of what I picked up was outstanding. I would recommend Newton's bakery to anyone of my friends and family

I have traveled and lived in different places across Ontario. As a person with Celiac's disease and multiple other food intolerance this place does an incredible job! the selection is huge and the food is amazing! such a great treat to have so many desserts for my thanksgiving dessert with my family :)
