One of the best secret spots for a fantastic lunch in downtown Grande Prairie. The atmosphere is always pleasant, decor beautiful, and lovely homemade soups and sandwiches. The staff are extremely friendly!

I've tried all the coffee places in town, from 55a, ole' smokes, to wapiti bean, gp coffee co... Shepherd's Fold was EXACTLY what I was looking for 1. I had an Amricano there... I've never had one as good. 2. I was primarily looking for somewhere quiet (where they don't try and compete with the stores in the mall and turn their music up to 11) where I could think and do some writing. It was perfect. I haven't had the food there but I've been told it's great and WILL be back :)

Probably my favourite place to eat downtown! The food is great and I love that they do different things. I never would have thought that blueberries would be great on a sandwich but they were. Many other delicious sandwiches since. Also, so glad I could try cheese tea recently! The staff is always nice and the atmosphere is great. I love the overall aesthetic. Plus, I love when I'm walking through the Shepherd's Fold store and they have a shirt or something with an excellent pun. I'm not religious but I do love a good pun.

First time coming here and I have no regrets. The latte I had was excellent. The staff was pleasant to deal with and inviting. The atheistics of the place are spot on as well. Definitely coming back here again once restrictions are lifted.

I love the purple chocolate london fog! Also the new peppermint charcoal latte 8s is light fluffy and almost like shortbread? This is a hidden treasure downtown. The perfect spot!

Such delicious food that today I had them tuck my me into a Togo container vs plating it as I planned to only eat half my order and take the other half back to the office to share with a colleague. I wasn't even hungry, really, just craving the comfort of a warm, homemade lunch prepared right there in front of me. Their Italian Turkey sandwich and Tomato Parmesan soup that I chose today was SO creamy, flavour filled, comfortingly warm and filled with ingredients brimming with delightful goodness!!!! I MAY have eaten more than half ???? lol It is just always SO good!!! They almost always have two different homemade soups and two homemade sandwiches to choose from daily as well as a pleasant assortment of home baked delights! AND once a month they try to bring in the infamous Crooked Creek donuts, driving out early in the morning to pick several dozen up and bring them in to save local visitors and residents the drive out East. The atmosphere at Common Ground is always beautiful, inviting, calming and the perfect quiet place to envelope yourself in peacefulness. A dreamy place to grab a book and read your way through lunch as you sip tea and delight in your sandwich, soup and/or baked goods.
