My favorite store in Grande Prairie. Great staffs and the store is usually clean. Lots of spaces to navigate the store. Fast people on the till. Weekends are very busy , i found the best time to go is around 10 to 11 am on weekdays and around closing time on weekends. They also offer tire services and has the cheapest gas in town. The membership fee makes it all worth it and also of you get the executive membership, you get an annual rebate!

Heyyo, the deals on a lot of this stuff bulk is pretty darn good... The Kirkland brand, which is a Costco brand is usually of really high quality and cheaper than big brand names. Their dog food for example is a lot lower in price than anything at PetSmart or Petland, yet it's still just as healthy for my dog as Nutro. That alone over time pays off the membership and saves me money in the long-run.

I love Costco but I do not like the way they run their tells, I'm a grown man and I can decide when and where I go to line up at the till. Most tills have one or two people but the line up is the full length of the store. Let adults decide the till they want to go to.

We got to Costco later in the evening, that's the best time to go as it's a lot less busy. The staff is great but there are a few things about Costcos that annoy me. First of all they block all the cashier aisles so that of you are in good area it's near impossible to get back into store. What's with that? I also can't stand having to dig through my wallet to show my membership card at the entrance. Then when you leave you have to get a highlighter mark on your receipt, they don't actually look at what you have, seems very pointless to me.

Cons: There were various items on carts on discount that both inhibited flow making social distancing in those areas nearly impossible. Also the signs for the discounts were hastily scribbled, noone took the time to print them out or even take the time to write neatly. Half the sample stalls didn't actually provide samples, there were just employees standing there by packaged product. 5/5 for the employees effort trying to promote the products, but I felt bad for them standing there being glorified sign posts. Batteries, specifically AA cells were in different locations. Duracell AA cells were at the front of the store while all the other sizes and brands were on the isle, making it impossible to price compare. Finally, the checkout area only had enough room for 2 carts in line and one at the register, making the line near the exit isle stretch halfway down the store while all the other lines were nearly empty. Pros: Very good selection for such a small store Staff were trying their hardest and were very friendly All products flowed in a logical manner, with the only exception being the previously mentioned discount items and batteries, at least as far as i noticed. Ample parking Tire center efficient and exactly on schedule.

Never again! We come here to eat all the time and never have an issue going in. We were told it's fine on that side, but the shopping side needs a costco card. The one day I forget my card and the woman at the doors wouldn't let us in to the food court side without it. I'm livid! Be consistent with your rules!

This Costco location has loads of parking which is good because it’s very busy. It seems to be well staffed and the usually have lots of till running at once. I love going there on the days when they have free samples. I have found that they always have the latest food trend, I had tried koombacha in Oregon on a trip and I had never heard of it before sure enough when I got back to gp I see it at Costco. Over the years I have also really enjoyed their return policy which is excellent.

The website has a lot to be desired, however the deals at the time of shopping are limited in time and product. the place is huge and with plenty of selection. found what i wanted and got out fairly quickly.. the only issue i have with the experience is, people as customers dont follow social distancing. it seems that most everyone that goes there, think that they are immune to the effects of the pandemic. i will say though this has not much to do with the staff. management should play a more active role in making sure that everyone is reminded about social distancing and keep playing an active role in enforcing what they should be doing. its not entirely costco's fault. customers should be doing their own part as well. i have to say, its not all customers. they also have shielding everywhere and keep things at the tills organized and safe..

It is absolutely terrible how they police the mask wearing!!!! I am seven months pregnant and have very bad dizziness if forced to wear a mask and thus breath in my own carbon dioxide. Most places have been fairly good about this but the atmosphere, also from the other customers, is very nasty about it at this Costco!! They will not be getting my business again!!!

New membership purchased was easy and even tho the store was extremely busy it was a quick and easy check out process. Lady working the door was terrible we were trying to get a membership for the first time and she was constantly in our faces making rectangular shapes with her fingers yelling 'card card'... trying to explain we were trying to purchase one was difficult as there seemed to be language barriers... we almost walked out without one... once we got the card it was smooth sailing... would have rated higher if not for that very uncomfortable experiance with that employee.

Well organized and usually well stocked. The store is very spacious and I can always find what I want. You generally have to be willing to buy larger sized items ie huge boxes of cereal, 3 bags of bread at a time etc but if you have a family or a freezer or someone to split some of your purchases with its worth it The checkout lines are very quick and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I enjoy shopping here. I always get great value for my money. They are handling COVID-19 extremely well by providing masks to everyone. Fast checkout during this time.

Nice store, helpful employees, good prices on many things. Many items are priced well such as TVs. Costco doubles the warranty and has an excellent return policy. Membership is worth the cost, you will recoup the membership money quite quickly. The meat department has excellent quality and prices. A very good store.

If you've got to make a quick stop for groceries, this ain't the place although, they have everything you need from groceries to home decor to electronics etc etc. It's a very busy place to do your shopping so expect to spend a couple hours in here. This establishment is usually well stocked with any and all products you need or want. I love the mini fast food stand near the exit/entrance. The hotdogs are delicious and affordable. The gas bar out in the parking lot is often the cheapest place to get gas in the city but you should arrive early when the store opens to avoid big lineups at the pumps.

Costco is always amazing but down one star for the grande prairie location because of my experience at the photo booth. I'd never used the photo area before and had questions about canvas prints and how to upload photos. I recieved blank stares and one word answers for the first few minutes and had to guess my way through the conversation until they finally decided to help. In the end she was quite helpful and chatty but after the first 5 min I just about walked away in frustration.

The covid nonsense is really forced in this store. Partially removed the mask to make a call and had 3 staff hassle me in the period of about 2 or 3 minutes. I tried to be away from the flow of traffic. After paying my bill I watched their staff for a while. There is someone watching all the tills and if any ones mask is not fully covering she was there to hassle them about it. Are people still believing this is real.? I know its managements fault and the staff are probably threatened with job loss if they do not confront the customer. A real pain in what used to be a good shopping experience.

Costco has a good variety of foods and brands to choose from and good prices. Beware though! Majority of the food is in bulk so if you need three jugs of milk, great! If not I don't think you save money. Their vegetables are great but I find the fruit is often not ripe and doesn't seem to ripen when you take it home. They have a great and affordable clothing section and they just got the Pekkle brand of baby sleepers back! They are $8.00 for one and the best quality you will find anywhere! The heels have a stretchy piece so that baby's feet stay in and they don't rub. Mom rant over. Costco also has the very best photo Centre in town. 4x6 prints are $00.14 for 1 hour printing and $00.12 for 24 hour ( I have ordered 24 hour before and gotten them back before I left the store). The quality is great and you can make your order online then pick them up so you can save time!

Good place with good prices, at Costco I always do my grocery shopping. The prices are really good and always had an special promotion that is good. The rewards program is good and I can get a percentage back in all my grocery purchase. To buy at Costco you have to pay an annual tax and get a card, isn't so expensive and the discounts pay you back. I recommend Costco Wholesale for those who wants good prices.

All those checkout tills to utilize, but they are never all in use at one time, even when the lineup is backed up past the clothing dept. Give yourself 30 mins extra just to pay for your goods. Not a "quick stop". Ever. Perhaps the receipt checkers at the exit could run a till, since their job is pretty much useless. Best meat dept. anywhere, hands down.

Very uninformative and rude clerk working in the photo centre the day I went to go get passport photos taken. I was wearing a light purple sweater and I was told I had to wear a black shirt only. I asked why as I had wore a colour which wasn’t black in my previous passport photo and she was blunt and said that I could go get something inside the store to wear which was black only or I couldn’t get them done. Behind me was a lady wearing a black short sleeved top which on the front had a multi-colour design and tons of bling and she was able to be served; this was contradicting what the lady had just told me about wearing “only black”. Leaving in frustration, I gladly went to a different store to get the photos done with the same light purple top on without having to wear black only. Highly recommend for the future that the clerks working in the photo centre be more informative with the passport photo guidelines.

Halloween is close, Costco had thier mask police masquerading as rcmp officers. 3 of them, 1 undercover harassing non-maskers. If Costco can't police thier own business, then they shouldn't get your business. I, for one am done with Costco. Costco is a high volume retailer who has been around for years. In my opinion there is a reason for this...they sell decent product. They are proffesional wholesalers with good product and no garbage marketing hype. The staff are pleasant and happy with there work place and treat their customers with respect. This is the reason for there success. When I want to get maximum value for my money earned... I shop there.

My wife went last week with my two children to get some groceries. While leaving the store my son had removed his mask. He's 4 and has developmental issues. Some older employee decided to scold my wife as they were walking out the door. Read the bylaw lady he is exempt whether you like it or not. Also I hope someone makes you feel as awful as you made my wife feel. So ignorant.

I spoke with grande Prairie manager Ray this morning. I called to cancel my membership of 25 years due to their new policy of not allowing certain members of the public entry. He laughed at me and my when I stated that the policy was illegal because it is discriminatory. He talked over me to recite his canned response. He offered me the chance to shop online and use delivery. I replied that the prices are higher online and that I prefer to see the product I'm buying. He was very happy to cancel my membership, you could hear the smile in his voice. I will not be renewing my executive membership at the end of the month. Your mandatory masking rule is against the law. You have no right to refuse access to people with disabilities.

Great store, always clean and the grande praitie location is always stocked. I visit every 2 weeks and am never unsatisfied. This location also has a gas station and liquor store which has the best prices for the quality and quantity that you recieve. Member services can get quite busy as well as the waiting times at the tills but i think that goes with any wholesale store.

Its a Costco so expect it to be busy on weekends and peak times. Clean, well managed store and the checkout lines move pretty quickly. Parking lot is good as spots are big and easy to manouveur.

Costco is generally full of competitively priced products. Staff are often helpful when looking for a particular item. There is ample room to navigate the aisles which helps ease congestion. Outside there is a huge car park and of course the cheapest fuel in Grand Prairie.

Very frustrated with customer service today. We dropped off a flat tire to be fixed on Wednesday and tried to pick it up every day since. On Saturday we stood at the counter and waited. Lots of excuses why it was not ready. We ask for our tire back so we could at least get it fixed somewhere else. The tire could not be found. Good grief. We got a bit rude with the staff and after another 15 minutes the tire was found and it was repaired. My disappointment was in the fact that we had to be rude to get service.

When I go here I always know it will be a while even now with this whole covid that's going on in the world. .I find the staff friendly but others will probably say no. .I never have a problem here with the staff I usually find other customers rude to other customers and not really giving them a fair chance to say what they want to say without getting cut off. .I haven't walked out of this store yet but if I do it won't be from the staff that work there it will be from other customers. .the wait to get in the store for me when I go there is about 10 to 15 mins and the line up is about 20 to 45 mins. .depends how far back you are and how much people are buying

The store was very well stocked however the lines at the cashiers were very long and they didn't have boxes for customers to pack there things and they didn't offer to go get some. Always have a great experience at Costco. The biggest problem with Costco is line-ups at checkouts. And no matter how long line-ups are, there are always check outs mor in use. This last visit was fairly quiet for Costco, and we decided to have chicken wings for lunch, because they are really good. However they didn't have any and would not have any for a week or more settled for a hot dog but they didn't have any hot pickles peppers for the hot dog. Just seems like they aren't too interested in the food service. Maybe new manager? Anyway, those are the only reason they didn't get 5 stars.

Clean organized love going to Costco has most of what I need. How ever the 4 star is because their produce has wen way down hils in the last couple of years I have had far to many rotten veggies and fruit. Also the meat I bought lunch meat that was very bad and not good not sure if it was left on a shelf then put back. I also don't like that they bring things in and then take them away and never get them back again. I really miss the one kumbucha brand.
