Seem like all the staff do not speak fluent English, we have to use broken English to communicate. Nonetheless, they are all very polite and helpful. We got 3 different kinds of croissant; almond, chocolate and cheese. We feel like the chocolate croissant was the worst out of the 3. It tasted just like the one I had at Starbucks, if not worst. Not buttery, not flaky, seems under bake and very very little chocolate filling :( The almond croissant was ok, nothing spectacular but not bad. The cheese croissant was very oily but so flaky and smells so good! They also sell a large variety of bakery goods, jam, cookies, chocolate, cake and many more!

Bref, je vous conseille d'y aller par fainéantise mais de passer votre route pour les vrais amateurs de bonnes choses et trouvez vous une vraie Boulangerie traditionnelle !

They have a good selection of sandwhiches and soups. The bread here is really good. Baked goods are always pretty good. Coffee I find is hit and miss. The hot chocolate is great. It’s kind of expensive for campus food but it seems to be better quality than other stuff on campus. Nice selection of salads and other ready to go foods as well. I’m writing this review not to criticize the food but the customer service. First of all I called to order something I couldn’t order on the website and the girl who picked up had no idea what I was talking about, she was very incompetent and we could’nt understand each other, anyways she ordered the thing I wanted and when I came to pick it up people couldn’t find it and I waited for 10 minutes while they were searching for it. It's a really nice Bakery pastry and grilled sandwiches and a little cafe to self serve in the middle of the market. I am here on a Saturday it's not crazy busy largely more of a the local crowd. I had the worst experience here due to an extremely rude employee with dark hair and glasses. As soon as I started ordering, she kept cutting me off saying things like, "I can't understand you," and "I can't hear you" when I spoke in English. This would have been fine, but then she dropped one of the breads I ordered on the floor, then put it back in my bag. When I asked her if she dropped it on the floor, her response was, "it's fine, it's protected by paper (the sides of the croissant were completely exposed and had dropped on the floor). Extremely upset, I just decided to pay for my purchase and leave, but my partner went back to explain the situation to another employee. Thankfully, she was understanding and replaced it with a new one, but the other employee started picking up the dirty croissant from the garbage can and complaining rapidly in French. Overall, this experience made me never want to come back to this establishment again. It was unacceptable to sell a contaminated product and behave in such an unprofessional manner. The only redeeming factor was the action taken by the second employee.

I’ve been a routine customer because the pastries are buttery and delicious. Sometimes I ask the baker if he has croissants just came out of the oven and he always kindly serves me the fresh ones or warm them up for me. I want to thank him for such an excellent service.

A bit more cute and cafe-like than other Premier Moisson locations, this is a great place to rest with a coffee and a sandwich/pastry. It is one of the few cafes at Jean Talon Market to have air conditioning, which is great during those suffocating summer days
