I’m giving it 4.5 stars. For the value, I would give it an easy 5. Their prices are so cheap for cske slices! I bought 2, a chocolate framboise and an almond slice at &2.50 a slice? What a deal! The almond cake slice was sooooo good omg! The framboise slice was good too but I think I would like it better with a bit less buttercream and more cake snd framboise filling. But yummy all the same. Loved the chocolate glaze on it. Just the right amount. They also sell these wonderful cakes also at reasonable prices. Think vanilla fruit salad and whip cream cske, and strawberry cske. Yum! Also tried several of their cookies. My favourite was the espresso cookie. My only suggestion to them would be to add a bit more almond, anise, and ginger essence to their cookies as I couldn’t really taste any almond etc in them. But they were also well priced and I would buy more of the espresso, chocolate and jam filled ones for sure. Also on the menu we’re a variety of croissants. Unique to their store is a thyme croissant, which has a lovely Zaatar filling. At $2 a pop, they are much more affordable than the other bakery crossants. Also noticed that they sold mini cashew and pistachio backlava. Also cheap! So I would definitely recommend a trip out here to enjoy some of their pastries. I know I will go back to try their coconut and chocolate covered cheese cake slice next. Only $2.50 a slice!!! Oh yes an they have a nice clean seating area too if needed ????

Yummy cakes, fresh croissants, and big variety of baked sweets. I always end up getting much more than I have on my list. Nice staff, friendly owners and a clean place.

Ordered our wedding cake from Patisserie l'étoile after reading all the positive reviews. Unfortunately, was quite saddened with the delivered product. On our way to the pictures, my husband told me in the car ''Just wait till you see the cake, it's awful''. When I finally got to the venue and had a minute to see the cake, I started laughing cause it was so not what we had ordered. Yet, I had sent a confirmation e-mail weeks before with pictures and precise description of the desired cake, even after meeting in person and explaining everything. They offered to make us a free birthday cake, which I don't really care for. The cake became the joke of the wedding unfortunately. Also, it was delivered on a melamine board with a sticky uneven white tape around to hide the edges.

I ordered a fondant cake for 10-15 people in the shape of a champagne bottle for my sisters 21st (and champagne) birthday via email. I was nervous because I had never tried their cakes and was ordering by email but decided to trust the reviews. The cake turned out beautiful! The vanilla cake and hazelnut icing inside the fondant was also really delicious! I would highly recommend this bakery!

They claimed to have been in business for several years but the years do not make them a better pastry shop. They do not know how to adapt to customer demands. I will never recommend this pastry. The pastries are AMAZING and super good price! Never tried their whole cakes but from the pictures and what I’ve seen from the other desserts I’m sure they’re really good too! Cute little pastry shop, an array of decadent treats displayed for you to choose from, i wish the cashiers would be more trained to explain ingredients tho, cakes and wedding cakes are available to your specifications. Some lunch areas are at your disposition. Overhaul, looks clean end well operated, i would recommend a visit.

One of the worst experience I've had with a bakery. Misspelled my daughter's name, received a different flavor cake then the one we ordered although everything was done by email, so written. If at least the Flavor was there, tasted like a cake in a box mixed with strawberries. Completely different from a chocolate cake that we ordered. Birthday girl was very disappointed and my guests were not a fan. First and definitely last time ordering there and would not recommend for any type of event when they can't get the order right. Edit 1: Replying to owner that said they offered reimbursement, this is absolutely false. You offered money off of a next order, not a refund. A refund is giving the customer's money back for a non-satisfactory service. I asked for one, they never replied. Don't lie on top of the bad service that you offered. And again, it's not just the name that was a mistake, but the cake was not what I ordered. Please see screenshot of what was said.

First time i went with my family we had a dozen assorted pastry to try them all nothing wow don't know what kind of butter, margarine , or any kind of fat taste awful gives you an upset stomach. Friends told us u should try the whole cake a lot better....... Today my wife went and bought a black forest cake very cheap on the fruit salad the cream as usual weard taste the cake it self very dry on top there is 3 halfs of strawberries 1 small triangle pineapple lots of big sleeves thin chocolate and more........ Thanks a lot patisserie l'etoile for my birthday surprise never again. But the staff very friendly i found from the1rst visit but that's not enough for the poor quality.
