Good local place to grab your groceries. Not a place you want to get a week's worth of food though as that may end up being pretty pricey. But it's perfect for running out to get groceries for dinner or a day or two worth of food. Good selection of items, great sandwiches in the prepared food/deli area, and staff is friendly. My only disappointment is the underwhelming section for vegetarian/vegan/gluten free specialty food. But you can't expect a huge selection of that kind of stuff everywhere.

I am giving it 1 star less since they do not make hot roasted pork like the other Metros I have been to. However, that may be just a Quebec thing as I normally get the hot roasted pork meals (2 types) from the Ottawa stores. I have not checked their bakery yet but I am hoping they also sell their in house bakery made double cheese bread like they do on the Ottawa side.

I have never reviewed a grocery store before but this place near me has really morphed from a being a bit run down to a very clean and well stocked establishment with lots to offer at good prices. I drink a particular Quebec craft beer so my litmus test is whether or not they stock it (which they do as part of a great selection so Ontario take note) Wide range of the necessaries we all use at very competitive pricing and they have a loyalty program you can subscribe to which always helps. Worth the visit if you’re local

At one point I had 4 employees within a 2m radius, one of which was touching my shoulder!! When I told him to back off to a 2m distance, he laughs and said it didn’t matter.

A well organized and clean place to buy groceries, would be 5 star easily if more staff available to simply ask some questions - disclaimer, I shop later in the evening. All in all I like the store better than any other in Hull.

Great place to shop can get most things you are looking for yet can be a little expensive. With 3 entrances to the parking lot it's easily accessible but could be laid out a little better to ease traffic flow in and out. Another great thing about this location is that it is open until midnight 7 days a week apart from holidays.

Very clean grocery store. Unlike certain other grocery stores, the fruits and vegetables are always fresh, clean and delicious. I'm unfamiliar with the meats counter but everything is very well displayed and nothing looks old or spoiled. The shelves are restocked practically all the time. You can get your beer bottles and cans refunded here.

The main highlight for me is that they stay open till midnight( even though at 11 they close the regular entrance and you have to go trough the exit ) the place is well stocked and really clean but if you need to find something you first need to find staff witch might be harder than what you where looking for in the first place,( that’s a universal complain with grocery stores ) Staff is friendly enough and mainly comprised of younger teens witch comes with pros and cons.

Always great to visit between 11-12pm when my regular store is closed (closed proximity). Usually the line is very slow however. Food is priced normally for a metro, but the meat tends to be a good deal. :)

My favorite local grocery store. Prices are higher than big box stores obviously. Good selection of veggies and fruit, great selection of "artisan" snacks, they have a full big section for them. Large assortment of deli foods, they have a fresh sushi counter, last time I tried some it was delicious. Fresh bread and some pastries, not the biggest pastry section but a bunch of different artisan breads to choose from. Recently renovated, very clean and easy to move around, not overwhelmingly large. Taking away one star because they are usually understaffed and the staff seems aware and annoyed by it. Every time I go they only have 2 cases working, the fast one and one regular one, resulting in lineups and frustrated staff. Not good!

This location is lacking in customer service, especially when they are short staff in the evenings. A couple weeks ago, I was purchasing peaches, amongst other things, and the article code did not work for some reason. The cashier decided to charge me for organic peaches instead, which were significantly more expensive than the conventional ones, whispering to herself she had "no other choice". I didn't want to make other customers wait any longer than they already have to, so I stayed quiet, but it surely did not leave me feeling indifferent - I will never shop there again.

The most Canadian thing in the world is a box wine style container of maple syrup where the boxes are officially licensed NHL gear. Metro in general is an over priced under portioned alternative to Loblaws/Provigo, but this Metro Plus really does feel like a step up.

It is expensive store and the metro point is almost useless last year they sent me ultramar 20$ rabaais card ,most of the ultramar locations don't take it and some they don't know what is it, I called ultramar custumerbservice they didn't help, so the card was useless and this year they sent me the same 10$ card it didn't work I tried to call metro point card customer service this time after 45 min waiting the preson on the fone has no idea what the card is , wasting time

I go to this metro very often as I live close by. Tonight my boyfriend and I went in for a few items. When we went to the self check out a young employee with long brown hair walked past us at the self check out 6 times in a row and stared at us. It was a very uncomfortable experience. I have never experienced this while shopping at this store before.

Their prices are always higher than Loblaws for instance and their food is often times past the due date, and it's still on the shelves. We've bought potato salad there that tasted awful. Their produce foods are not always fresh. We tend to shop at loblaws where prices are more reasonable and where fresh produce is fresh.
