2017: We bought the best store-bought 2 KG Meat Lasagna EVER last week. It tastes exactly home made, with a thick meaty sauce with carrot pieces, tomatoes etc and lots of cheese, and good noodles. Couldn't believe it. After all the frozen attempt we've made to get a lasagna to get out of the work of making a good one...we've found it!! Edit 2020: Ok,if it was 5 stars 3 years ago, it is now a 1 star at best. Now 22 $, it has maybe 200 grams of meat in the whole pan, at the most. And hardly sauce. It should be called cheese and pasta lasagna, with some meat.And it was about an inch below the rim. We had to cook 5 hamburgers to make up for the lack of meat. So sad when something that was once good turns into something bad. Sauce isn't very sauce-like.

Small grocery store means a limited selection and overpacked narrow aisles make it hard to shop even that selection. The front of house (produce / bakery / deli) on the other hand is far better than you would expect, but still limited in selection.

Marché Laflamme is my favorite grocery store in Aylmer. It has nice quality products at reasonable prices. The new bulk vegetables section is great and let's you pick only what you need. Most importantly, the staff is great. Everyone is smiling and helpful which is very different from most large chains. This warm atmosphere is the reason why I keep going back.

This grocery store is super convenient as it is close to where I live, I go here often. The prices are okay, they offer decent sales on things BUT don't expect to get fruit here as most of it looks way past its date.. the prepackaged fruit especially, I love fruit but I always have to go elsewhere like provigo for it. They really need to fix that, the pineapple, watermelon, berries.. always look past their prime. Staff are always super friendly though.

After many years in the grocery business I can say that this is one of the best small, independently owned stores I have seen. The staff are friendly, the store is clean, the selection rotates regularly and includes some natural food options. My only suggestion would be that the owners get a better selection of Quebec cheeses. There are some wonderful boutique cheese makers in this province that could be featured in the store.

Laflamme is my go to for a quick supper when I am short on time. They make great Tourtière, Chicken Pot Pie and Lasagne which are all made in house. I pick up their premade salad Caesar or Greek. Their pizzas are also good considering it is an assembled pizza on premade dough. The pizzas are even better warmed up in a frying pan (on very low heat) the next day after being baked, in the oven, the previous day. The deli counter has a wide variety and the Kingsley Cheese is a must have. Often when we shop their cheese is an excellent price. Sometimes you can even get a large Brie on sale. The birthday cakes are moist and flavourful because the icing is creamy yet not too sweet. The fruits and vegetables are fresh and they often have baby back ribs on sale. The best part is their staff is helpful and may order some products in, if you ask them to. The cashiers are always smiling and happy to greet you. What a great way to end your shopping experience, with a smile.

So great to go to a store with a real butcher who will invite you in to show him how you want your roast cut. Then give you a discount. The management was also responsive last year when I asked them to enforce smoking rules near their entrances. Please give this locally owned store a visit.
