This Bakery corresponds to the category of Pastry shop.
Very nice people, good food and awesome vibe. Can get expensive tho
Nice almond pastries.
Excellent service!
Great place. They cater to everyone especially people with kids as there is a play site on site. I personally like to support this place over the big companies because quality is there and there is no share holders that the cafe has to be responsible for.
Excellent fresh baked goodies. Staff are occasionally rude but the food makes up for it.
Adorable cafe! The outdoor seating is perfect in the summer. Their muffins and sandwiches are delicious and affordable!
Nice place, excellent French pastries.
Just dropped in for a quick lunch. Delicious ham and cheese sandwiches. If you can make the mundane into a tasty treat you know what you are doing.
Quaint little place in Westboro. Decided to come here with my friend and try it out since she said the pastries are pretty good. We ended up getting lattes and I asked for almond milk - I was charged an extra $0.65 without being told of any extra charges for opting for almond milk. Disappointing this was not communicated to me until after I checked my receipt. Save your money and effort and just go to the Starbucks across the street. They will literally make the same drink for less the price and do it right for you if you don't like it. Disappointed in the service of this place. Don't recommend. Also - funny they're not accepting cash for payment but yet they have a tip jar with cash in it LOL - incompetence?
Great baguettes!
Great food, great staff, nice place - keep up the good work!
This Mamie Clafoutis has improved over the past year, however, their hours need to be extended. They close too early and it would be nice to go here after 6 pm sometimes.
Great bakery. I come here often, my favourite is the baguette with olives, thyme and olive oil.
Just visited for the first time; very friendly staff and the best croissant I’ve had in Ottawa! Super authentic. Wish we had a place like this in Centretown.
I never set foot in the store so I cannot speak to the poor customer service experience others have reported. My wife bought a lemon meringue pie from MC and it was the absolute best lemon meringue pie I have ever had. The thick lemon filling was dense and tart, and the tartness was wonderfully offset by the sweet and gooey meringue. The crust was stiff and balanced the whole thing perfectly. Simply delicious.
I love studying in this relaxing, French-style bakery. It's beautiful, and the food is delicious and fresh.
Very friendly and patient staff. So much delicious to choose from. Fresh Bread. Desserts. Sandwiches. Coffee. Teas. Great spot to sit and enjoy and catch up with a friend. Much easier to walk to this area as parking can be challenging.
Pricey but great treats!
A nice, unique addition to the Ottawa cafe scene. The space is great with lots of natural light and a good layout to showcase the variety of baked treats. The kids play area is a nice touch, it makes it a great place to bring a toddler compared to most other cafes. Everything we tried was fresh and delicious. The prices were high but for the variety and quality of the baked items I'd say it's worth it for the occasional treat.
Staff--friendly Atmosphere--relaxing Coffee--good Pastries--ok Blueberry Clafoutis -- didn't have any flavour Pistachio/chocolate croissant -- good, but had an almond flavor in it which wasn't expected Chocolate croissant -- very good It was a nice atmosphere, but the pastries weren't as good as I expected. I might come back to try the breads, and get the chocolate croissants again.
Amazing croissants that are to die for made the traditional way and so, so buttery. Long lines and high price but better than Starbucks.
The food is really good and the space is nice but the service was below par. The person working the counter last night was as cold as a winter evening in Paris. A greeting would be appreciated and a thank you when I paid or even a smile. Oh well, it was almost closing time and there was a baby wailing in the distance, maybe she’d had enough for the day.
Don't buy the Oh My God danishes or you'll be in trouble for life!
Expensive.
Very excited to welcome this place in the neighbourhood. The pastries lived up to their hype!
(Translated) Excellent coffee, great atmosphere, like Franco-Ontarian, I would appreciate posters and menus in French. We are 30% of Ontarians and more in the Ottawa area. Without forgetting Gatineau ... (Original) Excellent café, belle ambiance, comme Franco-Ontarian, j'apprécierais des affiches et menus en français. Nous sommes 30% de la population ontarienne et davantage dans la région d'Ottawa. Sans oublier Gatineau...
Hmm! Delicious almond croissants and a flat white
I’m yet again disappointed with this establishment. One time, bread was on trays on the floor. A second time the service was lack lustre. And now - we arrived 20 minutes before closing for a quick dessert and were told - you can’t it in here. To which I questioned as to why. They said “well - you can but we won’t give you a plate or utensils” as they had already been cleaned. I said we still have 20 minutes. I won’t go back.
Very surprising place. The French baguettes are about the best you will find in Ottawa. I also tried the classic sandwich, ham with some lettuce, boiled egg and very simple. I've been back several times, well done folks.
so glad this awesome bakery has made its way west from montreal. the staff is really friendly and the olive fougasse/focaccia had tons of olives and wasn't dry like many often are. their sandwiches/tartines looked really good. the space is large and welcoming and has lots of nice seating options to choose from. great spot!
Wonderful smell and atmosphere walking in. Hot drinks all premium and desserts are authentic french pastries.
excellent! we had an apple turnover, very puffy, and two kinds of lemonade, passionfruit and raspberry. lots of room to sit, tables spaced out. child friendly.
Always delicious and inviting, I love going there for an iced coffee and a treat! Would highly recommend the sugar free cookies and the croissants. They also have tasty salads if you’re looking for a meal.
Delicious!! Lots of wasps though
As Ottawa's self-appointed foremost pastry expert, I can confidently assure you that this place is among the very best in the city. Everything is increidble, the atmosphere and staff are great, a true 5 star establishment.
Rather expensive for what it is. Quiche was good though.
Delicious pastries and snacks at a reasonable price. Great espresso. Friendly staff. What more could you ask for??
Food is good, but extremely busy with no seating. 5 star food, but had to take it to go...
What a pleasure to finally have a REAL french bakery in Ottawa! The Oh My God is out of this world! The decor is pure and welcoming, great place to sit and enjoy coffee with friends and family! Will be back!
Great lunch with a French Pastry ????
On a cold wintery day, we wanted to walk and enjoy some delights. This place perfectly fit the bill. From savoury to sweet baked goods, soups, teas and coffees such yum and warmth for a cozy afternoon. Glad to have finally visited
A chai latte is a bit of cold milk with a tea bag for nearly 6 dollars.... A little expensive for what you get but it is westboro and its a good family location. Parents and moms can chat and they have a designated play area. Love the atmosphere. Just order plain coffee.
Amazing pastries
I went there with my 9month old daughter and another mom and baby friend. I really enjoyed the different types of seating and that it wasn’t jam packed. I could easily walk around with my stroller. The line up to order and pay was a little odd however. It’s like a three sided counter situation with food on all of those sides. It all looked delish! You sort of line up in the middle and the people taking orders kinda asked what you would like but it wasn’t consistent where they’d ask what you wanted or even asked you to pay up. I wanted a latte so I ordered it from where I was standing then some one else asked if I wanted anything to eat on the far right counter which I ordered a pistachio chocoltina then the other employee asked me to pay by the from doors on the far left. It was confusing and didn’t seem to flow nicely. Like I said I ordered the pistachio chocoltina and it was amazingly delicious!! The latte however left little to be desired. The espresso was just ok and the foam was not smooth and shiny. It was really bubbly and the espresso shot was just dumped into the centre of the foam that was poured into the mug first. It’s a pastry shoppe more than a cafe it seems. Aside from the mediocre latte the staff were very pleasant and welcoming. I’d be returning for the atmosphere and the awesome pastry
A top spot in Ottawa to find delicious and unique pastries.
amazing baked goods with true French tradition! The galette du roi is definitely worth it as a treat. I just wish they had better prices on regular breads.
Great treats, food, and coffee. Beautifully designed and very friendly :)
Here’s the caption for my Instagram post: Oct 3, 2021 - I rode with my dad to drop my sister at her apartment this afternoon after her visit. And then he wanted to grab a coffee. To be sociable. So we did that at @_mamieclafoutis. I had my first ever pumpkin spice latte. Now I feel like a sassy Starbucks girl. ???? Review: the latte was delicious. My dad says this is his favourite coffee shop. It certainly does have big bright windows and lots of tables for a social atmosphere. And there were like nine girls working behind the counter. One of them said hi to me in French. They had a little blonde girl checking vaccines and IDs. She looked about my niece’s age. My niece is 9. I thought that was very cool. My dad asked if I wanted food or just a drink, and I said just a drink, so that’s all he got. But then I noticed all the shelves of pastries. I was tempted. I would definitely come back for some of those pastries. I noticed a chocolate covered thing called the Oh My God. I will definitely try that in the future. I’m hoping it will make up for my not having a girlfriend for the past 10 years.
Great pastries friendly staff.
Looking for the REAL French style bread and pastries ? Mamie Clafoutis is the place. I moved to Ottawa from France and have been searching for some good baguettes and viennoiseries. Tried every possible store from East to West to downtown. None come close to the quality of their products. Well worth the detour.
Great selection of French pastries and savory item. Great atmosphere, great service. A must.
Very yummy, fancy food prices, which is fair.
Went here for baked goods and coffees on Father's day. Service was horrible. Took 40 minutes to get our coffee. COFFEE. Which takes minutes to drip and pour, and when we went to check on the order it took another 15 minutes while everyone who ordered after us got theirs. Baked goods were delicious but the service was absolutely awful. Maybe this was an off day but it has soured my idea of them so much i will not be returning.
Food is quite good but customer service not so much
Very disappointing quality for baguette....I purchased a walnut and fig (I think) baguette and literally came to serve it the same day and it was already blue of mold! NOT GOOD
So delicious! Will definitely go back next time in Ottawa
Best French baked goods. Really love the staff one girl speaks with this wonderful French accent.
Food is excellent. Staff are friendly but i strongly encourage business owners to insist that the staff leave smart phones in the back room when working. Our sandwich was taking very long to be brought to us so we went to the counter and stood there and watched the young man who served us text and text and text. We made the point to just stand there and see how long this would last. When he was done we asked him politely if he could give us our food. The irony seems to be that he did not seem to see anything wrong with all this. We just cant be rude so we thanked him and went on with our quick lunch. Food is excellent and i would hope that this was an isolated situation. Do check it out
Mamie Clafoutis on Richmond in Westboro town centre is a boulangerie and coffee shop which has much more of a "local" feel about it than the uniform experience one enjoys at Starbucks down the road. One can expect usual barista service at the counter, and the choice for pastries and sandwiches etc. rather leaves a lot of coffe shops in the dust. The cafe is busy as all good cafe should be, but the spacious area is not crowded and affords ample privacy. The cafe offers WiFi.
Love this cafe, the croisants are to die for.
Amazing selection and incredible bread. We got the sourdough baguette and the Belgian loaf I think. Gonna come here all the time now.
A bit $$$, but great quality and family friendly.
Fantastic service, the almond croissant I had was amazing. Will be having the sourdough baguette later on tonight. Will visit again
Great bread and pastries, excellent coffee, comfortable seating, lots of light. Love this place.
Came here with my two children and their grandpa. An amazing place for kids thanks to the many toys and books available for use. The food was amazing, very authentic. Tasted like we were back in Paris. Beautiful decor, great tasting lunch and friendly staff. Will most definitely return.
Delicious! Larger items (cakes, quiches, etc) are much pricer, but everything is fantastic. Reccomend for anyone looking for a great bakery.
Delicious croissants!
So excited to find another gem of an authentic French style bakery/cafe!! Great coffee, pastries, and bread, all in a very cozy yet spacious atmosphere in the heart of Westboro. I think I found my new away office!!!
The best chocolatine ever
There hot chocolate with almond milk, mini raisin rolls & rasberry cookies tastes so delicious???????????? Mouth watering taste you won’t regret going there. Beautiful decorations when I went there over the Easter weekend. How cute are these adorable
Disappointed. I have been here a handful of times. After the most recent visit, and trying to love this place to the extent that I would recommend the bakery to others, I would not go out of my way to purchase from here again. For all the times I have been here and had questions about the pastries, the staff is not sure about the items behind the displays, and would have to ask a few colleagues until they had an answer. Ordering desserts over the phone was a disaster. A staff member had to call back to advise that the item ordered is not available, and the staff member could not even recommend a replacement. When going to the bakery in-person to pickup the order, we only received half of our order in a little bag. Good thing we checked the bag to verify if anything was missing before driving all the way back home. Part of our order was wrong, but we did not want to go through the hassle of waiting in line to pick out something else after waiting for our pre-order. There is a wide variety of pastries, but the selection and the quantity is a hit or miss, depending on how busy the bakery is that day.
Delicious quiches, croissants and desserts complimented by friendly staff.
Delicious cake, cute atmosphere, good coffee. I liked how open it was without being too loud, the variety of seating options, and how effectively they display their food. Ordered spinach and goat cheese tartine (toast) which was pretty good, but the maple cake in a can (while not inexpensive) is super cute and absolutely delicious. They do a good espresso too. Wish they didn't close so early in the evening but were enjoyed our time there.
Great bakery and pastry items, cozy rustic interior, great for children.
Amazing pastries! Cozy spot for lunch and a coffee.
Nice neighborhood cafe with light French pastries
Great French pastries
Delicious food and nice place to have a coffee
This place is becoming my favorite bakery in Ottawa. Definitely try the almond croissants.
This is excellent place to have high quality French pastries, all cooked on site daily. Great coffee also served. Atmosphere is great, and also a good place to bring kids as there are some tips for them play with. Water and glasses always available. Thanks Mamie Clafouti!
Cool boutique experience
Great pastries, people and coffee! Maple and white chocolate roll and mocacino was awesome! On y parle français et anglais.
This is one of our favourite places to have breakfast with our 3-year-old. The pastries are lovely and they have good coffee options - our family usually gets a couple of the namesake clafoutis, which are fruit-topped tarts with a sort of solid custard base, along with the cheese "bretzel" (pretzel) and some of the savoury items. On top of that, the children's play area is awesome! There is a chalkboard, blocks, a toy cash register and lots of other toys, as well as books in French and English and kid-sized tables and chairs. The restaurant is spacious and airy with lots of light and you can watch them baking bread through a glass door. We usually go on Saturday mornings and have always had good experiences with customer service. It is pretty expensive and they only take cash and debit, but it's a great place for families to have a nice relaxing coffee while the kids play.
Great spot. It’s not cheap but it’s really good. Try their croissants (almond, chocolate or butter) , their mini clafoutis , and their quiches !!
The food looked great and the taste matched. The prices are decent given location and quality. I have been back several times since the first and will continue to visit.
Such a cozy and comfortable place to dine. They have a really causal atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re at home, their internet is also fast, which is great for getting work done. Pastries are very décédant.
Great staff and choices, Merci !! Dereck.
I had heard about this bakery from Montreal and was excited to see one open right down the street from us. Delicious sandwiches, freshly-baked breads and baguettes, and some of the best croissants I've had in Ottawa!
OMG! I love this place. Amazing bakery. Everything is delicious!
We knew Mamie Clafoutis from Montreal. I am glad they are now a mile away from our home. Close your eyes, take a bite and you could be in France!
Asthetically beautiful. I had flan and it tasted good, but was a little tough to cut.
Great spot for kids. Coffee is good, pastries are not bad.
Quiet and pleasant place to get out of the rain. A beautiful collection of pastures and sweets to eat with your tea and specialty coffee. I had a tasty cinnamon roll and a hot cup of tea. Mr guest had a matcha and a "oh my god" Nutella filled pastry. Highly recommend.
Great food, but pricey.
A very warm & cozy place with lots of yummy pastries & sandwiches .. and to have a great coffee too
like place goooooooooooooooooooodddddd
Good place to have a quick snack or stay a while. Very child friendly with a mix of seating possibilities. They have various other deliteful treats. Cakes, pastries etc.
Avoid if you don't want to hang out with kids. Espresso came out so hot I had to wait 30 mins to drink. Baguettes were super tasty.
Great place for deserts and bread
Came upon this french pastry shop by chance this morning so of course I had to take a peek! Bought this pistachio-chocolate crossaint thing (sorry, forgot the name) for $5.25 and it was soo worth it!! Between buttery flaky layers of the pastry are luscious amounts of chocolate and pistachio filling. A must try!
Amazing place to bring young kids.
Fresh, friendly, awesome. All of their food smells delicious and looks amazing. Very kind friendly. Lots of seating. Warm and friendly staff.
Gigantic portions, huge prices, very unhealthy, but tasty...
I went to Mamie Clafoutis for the first time today and I was glad I did! Very friendly staff, quick service, tasty baked good and a neighbourhood-feel atmosphere. It is kid-friendly which is nice and really casual. A good weekend place to pop-in and relax, comparable to the usual branded coffee shops with a little more space.
Apricotine mmmmmm
Must try when you're in town, delicious pastry and variety of dishes. Drinks were so good, cappuccino or macha. Lovely and stylish coffeeshop, good ambience. Nice staff. Perfect place for hangout with friends and family. Decent price. Clean restroom. Not much spot for parking though.
Unique French Bakery
Nice atmosphere and great selection of baked goods
I'm a huge fan of this chain! I'm a very picky eater and not a big fan of pastries, but while living in Montreal this place got me hooked. This is the only food I get cravings for. Their brownie is the best brownie I've ever had! I love the kids corner they have in this location. What a great concept and use of space! Good job, team Mamie Clafoutis, keep up the good work. The only improvement suggestion I have is to come up with a better system to manage lineups. It's not clear where it starts and how it progresses. The ticketing system in Montreal seems to work fine. Why not adopt it here? Otherwise, love love love this place and will keep coming back!
Mamie Clafoutis is a treasure for those looking for fresh baked bread, pastries and desserts. They make great coffee too! I highly recommend it to all my friends and family!
Delicious!!
Great, cute place with nice drinks and food. Unfortunately they don’t accept credit.
High quality, authentic French bakery. Many different options, from just bread to sandwiches to desserts. There’s both hot and cold drinks here, which makes it ideal for a visit any season. From my visit, the restaurant was very clean and spacious. Service was fast as well because there are multiple people behind the counter. Free wifi as well :) kid/family friendly, but also would be a cute place for a date or catching up with friends. Atmosphere was definitely chattier, even on a Thursday afternoon. Would definitely come again!
Excellent pastries, lovely people #westboroproud
First time here, and I was not disappointed! Bread is fantastic.
My favourite pastry is Apricotine, I always here for my lunch break. Except for the price, everything else is perfect
Pastry is soooooo good! Love it! Beautiful place❤️
- Layout: Very cute bakery/pastries, modren spacious dining area, they also have small tables and play area for kids. - Food: I tried their pistachio chocolatine & Americano. The coffee wasn't the best, but pretty good for a bakery, it's not a coffee shop after all. the chocolatine was good but a little more buttery and doughy from the inside and not as crispy from the outside. The bread looks pretty good but haven't tried it. I like the fact that they have small size pastries and cookies. - Atmosphere & service: friendly staff, There is free wifi, a nice place to finish your work or read.
I’ve been here a few times and this is my last time. Every time I come there is another poor customer service experience. So unfortunate for a place like this. This time, we were told that they wouldn’t put the food on plates because they were closing in 30 minutes and couldn’t wash the dishes. Most employees don’t know how to properly serve customers and look like they don’t know what they’re doing. Also, they identify as a French bakery, but you can barely get service in French, even from French speaking staff who tell you that their colleagues only speak English you should address them in English. I’m done. Shout out to the owners, if you can’t be professional and train your staff properly, then you’re not in the right business. The Montreal locations are so much better!!!
Great pastries, great location.
Delicious pastries and very cool atmosphere!
Great place for family but above all else it's a great place to indulge and enjoy quality baked goods! And coffee!! Great staff and great location
Absolutely lovely place. Love taking my little one as there is a little play kitchen and a small selection of toys they can play with. Great baked goods (obviously) and bonus is that they serve free drop coffee if you bring your own cup. ❤️
Spectacular French pastries! Hands-down the best I’ve had in Ottawa.
I ordered 2 lattes and a raisin roll. The coffee was terrible. It was not hot at all. They didnt have white sugar. They should have said beforehand that there was no white sugar. The raisin roll was good but only if the coffee wasnt so bad, I would have left with a good impression. Very disappointed.
Lovely staff and delicant pastries.
Great bakery lots of good food ,good place for a hot drink everything I had was delicious
Three words: Oh my god (ask for it by name) Wheelchair accessible, good social distancing setup and enough amazing, incredible food to break the heart of any dieter. There aren't enough superlatives to describe how great this place it.
Great bread and baguette.
Disorganized staff, unapologetic management and underbaked pies. It was good when I was just getting their sweet buns until I came in to get a nice pricy tart for a birthday. My partner pointed out clearly through the glass and tried to say the name as a tart with custard. Asked to keep going (covid) were given a closed box which across town at home we discovered was a more expensive (and ugly) fruit pie. I totally could not serve that for the birthday. Called the store, girl asked me to drive all the way back in for an exchange (during covid mind you neglecting safety) and manager offered a free pastry as consolation. On top of that we said whatever and tried it and IT'S TOTALLY UNDERBAKED for an expensive pie and dough tasted like cardboard.
(Translated) I like their little dessert and the atmosphere. (Original) J’aime bien leur petit dessert et l’ambiance.
Awesome bread and pastries and an excellent cappuccino!
The bread is amazing, service very friendly.
Best coffeeshop with great selections of coffees and pastries
WOW! Finally a pleasant place to have coffee on the Sunday morning walk that my friend and I do most weeks. Service was great, price reasonable, great service, lots of indoor & outdoor seating without feeling like a sardine in a can, and best of all ... NO LOUD MUSIC. My friend and I could actually hold a conversation. We'll be back!
Good bread
Excellent place to bring your little one and have a fresh baked good and a coffee while your child plays in their play area.
Good coffee and pastries, nice place to have a coffee and meet with friends.
Everything I've tried here is delicious! It's always difficult to decide what to order because everything looks so good! I highly recommend their pistachio croissants, they are a must try
Great baked goods, go to for bread and pastries. coffee and espresso is average.
Great pastry in a relaxing home atmosphere
Very disorganized. I ordered 2 tarts in advance and when I arrived to pick them up I was informed that they just didn't make one of them. We had to change for a different product or get a refund, right before our planned gathering. They didn't even offer some way to compensate the frustration. I advise not to trust them for requests in advance. Better purchase whatever they have in store on the spot.
Fantastic treats
We visited this cafe, on a rainy day. We were planing to visit another cafe but on our way saw this place and we liked the design from outside so thought we would try. We ordered a regular latte, pistachio croissant, a chocolate covered marshmallow bear and a peach pear tea. The chocolate bear was tasty, but since I was on a diet I couldn’t have more then one bite, my toddler didn’t like it. The pistachio croissant was tasty and latte was just basic, both of them we average nothing above average. They gave us different tea then the one we ordered, they gave us camomile, I don’t return it but would have appreciated getting what I ordered. The place has a nice atmosphere, friendly and kind staff. The place was also nicely decorated for Easter ????.
Nice ambience and friendly staff. The service can be slow. We had a tea and scone that were not good. We returned the scone, they apologized and gave us another dessert.
Tried the Cherry clafoutis. Barely any cherries, and the cake was tasteless, and waaaay too thick. Tried the quiche lorraine, - wrong kind of ham, extremely greasy, and tasteless too. Couldn't even finish my 1/8 slice... I highly suggest the owners of this chain to actually try to get to France, and try these two items, which are pretty easy to do. And of course, overpriced. A JOKE.
(Translated) A great place to come and relax while enjoying the excellent pastries and good coffee. You have thought of everything, even children have their corner :)! Good luck to you (Original) Une belle grande place pour venir relaxer tout en dégustant les excellentes pâtisseries et le bon café. Vous avez pensés à tout, même les enfants ont leur coin :) ! Bon succès à vous
Belgian bread and sourdough baguettes are the best!
Staff were pleasant especially Amir! Coffee was excellent.
Amazing sandwich
Great hot chocolate and sandwiches! Decor and ambience is excellent! Will return.
The food and drinks are always primo and the selection is unparalleled. I enjoy it every time I go!
Wonderful staff. Great atmosphere. Delicious drinks and pastries. Yum!
Employees were very kind and gave us many recommendations on items to buy.
Thank you for bringing such delicious pastries and bread to Ottawa. I've been twice already and am excited to go back tomorrow. I've tried so far the pistachio croissant, the oh my god croissant, a pastry with I think apricot in it and another one with maple. I can't pick a favourite they are all so good. The coffee is great too. I like the samples at the front because they help me choose what to get next! OK update the best thing here is the cranberry pistachio square. Try it you won't regret it.
(Translated) Superb place, where to go for a good coffee What was missing was a place like that in Ottawa, finally a place where you can eat good ORGANIC bread and wonderful pastries and sandwiches. The service is great, just a little more experience and they will be on top. Well done and thank you for coming to our neighborhood.
Fantastic place chocolate lovers
This rating is based solely on customer service as I only purchased a lemonade after feeling so unwelcome by a member of the staff that I just wanted to get something to quench my thirst and get out. One of the young female staff glared at me and my daughter the entire time we were in there as though we were not welcome and/or didn't belong there. I felt very uncomfortable and my sister in-law was very bothered by what took place as well, I'm just thankful that my daughter didn't notice.. I don't even know if the food is good or not, but I know I won't be returning to find out.
Oh. My. Goodness. I have been meaning to visit this place since I noticed the play area in the window and finally made it yesterday. The pastries are AMAZING. This is not an overstatement. I had an almond croissant, pain au chocolat, and brought home an additional pistachio brioche and pistachio croissant. They are melt in your mouth delicious, you will want more immediately! The play area is an added bonus. My baby and toddler were able to play while I enjoyed my latte and pastries. This is a gem!
Amazing artisan bakery!! Their bread is delicious, and their pastries very close to the pastries I've eaten all over Europe !!
The order came in parts. We couldn't wait for the second part (but didn't pay for it). The delay was more than 40 minutes. We had too much time to finish our first part drink all the water and talk about everything. I don't recommend this place if you have limited time or hungry.
(Translated) Excellent coffee! (Original) Excellent café!
Pretty good service, asked for a mocha latte with almond milk, same thing I order everywhere I go. I got a latte. I went to tell the lady and she insisted that I ordered a latte. She didn't seem to happy to be there, and seemed unpleased to add the mocha part to it. But she did correct it, so i can't complain. Pastries were delicious. I'll be back for more!
Freshly baked French breads and desserts. Warm and welcoming staff.
If you didn't try their almond croissant yet, you should try!
Delicious croissants, bread and donuts.
Great cozy coffee and sweet shop
French bakery with a pretty ambiance and tasty baked goods. They have a kids corner too. A nice stop for a cup of coffee, a treat and some conversation.
(Translated) Excellent maple cheesecake ❤️ (Original) Excellent gâteau au fromage à l’érable ❤️
Food is good, but expensive for what it is. What keeps us coming back is the kids area in the cafe - perfect for keeping little ones entertained while you enjoy your latte and croque monsieur!
Forgot to bring a lunch today and ran to Mamie Clafoutis in the morning. Such friendly and helpful staff, and my goodness the food was exceptional! Can’t wait to go back and grab some quiches and other snacks in the future ????
Oh my God ! Was just oh my god delicious. Though it was expensive, The croissant I had (called: Oh my god!) was great.
Good desserts, poor service.
Yummy
Amazing place for wonderful food! Very good quiche!
Great for bread and baked goods but not if you are looking for traditional french pastries.
Had a fouple of ipportunities to visit here during my stay with my son and his family at Westboro, Ottawa in June- July19.My little one year old grandson thoroughly enjoyed at this place. Quality of food, snacks are simply very tasty and of good quality. Looks like the Owner, especially the Lady owner, gets it prepared under her personal supervision. Very yummy!! All the best!!!
One of the best coffee in the Westboro village, very friendly staff
Nice combination of industrial/ wood chic. Great selection of baked goods and pastries. Unfortunately, the woman at the counter completely failed to review my vaccine status. I accidentally showed her my wife's vaccine status on my phone instead of mine. She accepted it and didn't ask for any other form of confirmation (it's early December, omicron should be on anyone's mind). Masking requirements were not followed. Once you were at a table staff couldn't have cared less. As per quality of product, my choclatine could have come from Costco. Probably better as a take out than a cafe.
Great bakery in Ottawa, but my disappointment was with the unpleasant and unfriendly staff. For the price I am paying, I expect to get my takeout pastries in a box rather than in a paper bag. Upcharging customers for a box does’t really makes sense; I understand 0.50 cents it nothing, but it’s how you deliver the message, especially to a first time customer.
I met a friend who had just returned from Spain here and we had an excellent time. The coffee was very good and the pastries were beautifully made. We were reminded of similar shops in Madrid. The space was airy and bright, even though it was raining outside, and the tables were well-spaced so there was no hurried or cramped feeling. The staff were helpful, assisting with making choices and bringing things to the table. A child-friendly area with toys was well used while we were there and many people had babies with them as they enjoyed their visits with friends. In all, it was a warm and comfortable place where we lingered for several hours. I will certainly go back.

Coffee and pastries are delicious! Fantastic setting for a business meeting! Clean, and great customer service!

Good .
Good place to grab a quick bite while in Westboro. My daughter is a picky eater but she downs the croissant sandwich quickly.
Best latte I've found in Ottawa so far, and the strawberry rhubarb danish is to die for.
Damn good
Their blue cheese walnut bread is remarkable, super light with crunch and a kick from the cheese but not overpowering. My partner got the almond croissant which was also good. Their coffee, cappuccino’s also tasted good. Nice ambiance, good place for a first date, study session or friendly meet up.
Best allongé in a long time
Coffee here is poor. Really needs improvement! The Oh My God (pain au chocolat loaded with chocolate ganache) was amazing!
They nailed it. Love the location - and the pastries! Staff are fantastic - and this is a spot we love to hit up. Great coffee and atmosphere. I brought a box of their pastries to a business meeting - totally a hit.
Finally great service! be aware some items are a little well done or not baked enough
I bought my birthday cake from here, the cake was very delicious and luxury!
Really lovely store with nice and efficient staff. They gave good reccomendations on what to pick out and the treats were great! I wasn't in love with the fact that they used disposable plates (from an environmental standpoint), but I'm sure they have their reasons.
(Translated) Very happy to see Mamie Clafoutis arrive in Ottawa after going to Montreal ???? I hope they will offer bear paws soon ???? the pistachio croissants are very good! (Original) Très heureuse de voir Mamie Clafoutis arriver à Ottawa après y être allée à Montréal ???? j'espère qu'ils vont bientôt offrir les pattes d'ours ???? les croissants à la pistache sont très bons !
Tasty, fresh, but no credit cards for payment?
The Mamie bread is awesome.
Great pastries, terrible service. Ordering isn't straightforward at all and everyone seems to be very confused behind the counter. Coffee is inconsistent and my breakfast sandwich was forgotten, then served cold. Be advised they do not accept credit card.
Very disappointing experience. I ordered a cheesecake and my partner a pistachio croissant and it was actually almonds, both were stale, my coffee was cold and the time it took to get to the front was too much. This is the second time we go and are disappointed with the baked goods. It has really gone downhill lately.
Loved it. Felt like the a nice French pastry experience
I don't understand why people keeps saying it's good French bakery.it was awful for me .it was not fresh . I was there many times and it was not fresh. 3 thtmes I buy a pie it's always wet and hard. Not deserve the the brand French bakery at all. I had to leave a review. 3 t
Nicely decorated and spacious coffee place. Refular coffee is a bit mild for me. Lots of varieties for deserts.
Just recently discovered this bakery in my neighborhood. Went in this weekend for the first time. Bought a plain French brioche and it was excellent!! It's a fairly basic pastry but this one was one of the best I've had anywhere. Unfortunately, they only make simple brioche on weekends but they are definitely worth the wait. Nice French ambiance. Feels like I'm in Europe... will definitely return.
Good quiche and coffee
Excellent place. Also great frozen crescents that you can bake at home.
Great bread and pastry! Not cheap but good.
Awesome place for mommies to catch up while kids play! They have a small kids' table, blocks, a play kitchen among other fun toys for little ones.
I had a slice of chocolate cake and it was delicious. It was a very generous serving. I've been to their locations in Montreal and I'm very happy they are now in Ottawa! My go-to favourite is the chocolate viennoise (like a mini baguette with mini chocolate chips).
I like their croissants and breads.
Nice food. Good service.
If you like average coffee, flavorless pastries, and grilled cheese sandwiches that aren't grilled and are cold then this is the place for you! Seriously, I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich that was "warmed up" and it was basically a couple of deli slices of cheese slapped onto bread between cold "carmelized" onions and re-heated bacon. I'm pretty sure that I was making better grilled cheese sandwiches when I was 10 years old. And I didn't charge six dollars for one. Waste of money and waste of time. Their only redeeming quality is the bread selection.
(Translated) Great way to end my day in Westboro! I love this coffee so much. (Original) Great way to end my day in Westboro! J'adore ce café tellement.
Only cash or debit. No credit cards accepted.
Very good bread and pastries!
Love this place, pastries taste like in my french hometown bakery, breads are nice, little taste of Canada on some... and they make clafoutis too! Can be pretty popular and noisy at time though
Great service, lovely treats. Thank you!
Excellent desserts that are freshly made everyday on the premises. Great coffee and nice atmosphere!
Excellent breads and pastries as well as a great place to grab a coffee. Really cute inside too!
I really like this place! Delicious baked goods and coffee gets a 4 stars, staff are very friendly
I find this place to be a "hit and miss" sort of place; they are inconsistent with customer service (you may run into a very nice person and 15 minutes later there is someone ready to bite your head off); the same about quality of food and drinks... We live nearby and my children love the place, which is why we go. I doubt I would have gone as often if it was for myself only.
Nice good bodied coffee. I have been a Starbucks fan but decided to give them a try since they are just across the street. What a wonderful experience! They have a much calmer atmosphere with comfy, cozy seating options and nice music. The windowed corner location gives the illusion of sitting on an outdoor patio in some European town. They offer an interesting selection of homemade items, including baguettes. The costs are comparable to Starbucks. They will definitely be getting more of my business!
DELICIOUS!!!!
The selection is incredible, everything was delicious! It was hard to choose and a bit stressful to do with the lineup behind me, but I certainly can't fault them for that
Very nice place, great staff, a bit pricey but the quality and range of pastries is excellent. Recommended
Amazing space and decor!! :) Kid friendly play zone! Awful Espresso drinks ! :( Suprising number of people who only wrote 1 positive review for this place! :( Great potential. Scalding hot drinks, bitter espresso, awful foamed milk :/ I really hope the management reads this - spend less time writing google reviews and actually train your baristas how to make a proper drink. Not sure? watch a 2 minute latte art basics video on Youtube or go to Equator and see what a cappuccino or latte should look like. High hopes for this place. If you invested this much money in the venue, please spend a little time properly training the staff.
Worst customer service... I ordered a large hot chocolate and a large latte they were half full and not impressed with the taste, I ordered a ham croissant asked for an extra bacon and they didn't want to add the extra, the croissant stayed on the grill for at least 10 minutes and wasn't fresh. The wait was very long. I was excited for my first experience, because I first experienced Mamie Clafoutis in Montreal and it was amazing! Never going back to the one in Ottawa.
(Translated) Exquisite string with blue and walnuts! The soup was excellent too. Brightness and service in French were appreciated. (Original) Exquises ficelles au bleu et aux noix! La soupe aussi était excellente. On a apprécié la luminosité et le service en français.
Lots of fresh homemade pastries. Excellent coffees. Nice atmosphere.
Lovely place!!

Excellent deserts and coffee
Great bread and pastries, I love them with the strong coffee. And, unlike most of their neighbours MC still has outdoor seating.
Love it. Best pastries in town, just the right sweet, everything is soo yummy! Going back for sure.
Almond croissants were crispy, sweet almond and soft. Delicioous coffee!! Get there early to enjoy a quieter moment. It gets quite busy closer to 11:30am. Outstanding staff at the front counter ????
Not sure why, but the croissants’ tops are too dark for what it should be lately. Friendly staff. But I hope attention is given to the baking.
Extremely beautiful pastries, pies, cheesecakes, unique and creative desserts, artisan and specialty breads, gourmet sandwiches (like brie/pear/walnut! Sooo good) & much more. Bought some mango pie for later that looks too pretty to eat. Will be returning to try more :)
aesthetically pleasing but that's about it. Visit was during the afternoon on a weekend.
Delicious French bakery
Great aesthetics and variety of pastries. I want to come back and try the other stuff.
They have nice desserts but tables are never clean. Sticky and dirty will not go there again Service is very very slow.......
Do yourself a favour and ignore all the 1-star ratings for this place. There's a reason this french bakery had so much success in Quebec and were able to open up shop here in Westboro of all locations in Ottawa. With that out of the way, this bakery serves up some mean croissants and drip coffee. I've tried their chocolatines and apricotines and fell in love with them both. I tried a canele there and it wasn't for me per se (too sweet for my taste), but you could tell it was well executed. Finally they always have samples of their freshly baked breads or pastries at the cash while you wait for your order to be completed and those are always lovely. No doubt in my mind that you'll be happy with whatever you want from this place. Vive la France ????????
Needed some pastries that everywhere else was sold out and they were able to help me put last minute ! Great service friendly staff highly recommend this bakery!
Little overpriced
Very yummy food
Lovely bakery with a little bit of everything - savoury, sweet, big, or small. Very cute, welcoming vibe.
great milk bread and pastries!!
Everything was excellent.
Delicious, fresh baking. Attitude-free service. Ample seating outside wrapping around the corner of the building. 1 hour parking behind the building.
Delicious treats and such a cute café!
So good! Very friendly too :)
Atmosphere: cute. Full of life. Smiling and friendly staff. Croque Monsieur not the greatest.
The taste was good, but supervisor girl unpolitely.

This was not one of my best experiences. My cafe latte was cold but the Almond croissant was delicious. We arrived near closing time at 6:30 in the evening and the cafe was empty. I tried to imagine it as it would be first thing in the morning. People lined up outside waiting to get in, the smell of fresh pastries competing with the dark, rich coffee being generously served by near-frantic Baristas. However, at this time in the evening we had to walk around a rather large cleaning cart to get to a table. The message was clear: the staff wanted to go home. I promise to be here to experience the morning rush. Perhaps imagination and reality will meet somewhere in my experience.
Cute little French café. Good coffee and hot chocolate. The pastries looked good but I didn't try any. Nice décor and atmosphere.
Yummiest and prettiest bakery in Ottawa! If you are a chocolate lover try their Oh My God Chocolatine!!!
Lovely bakery with Ikea Toys to keep children busy while you enjoy a great brunch. Parking is not always easy but thats expected. From baked goods to sandwiches to fresh bread x'
There is such a huge selection I'll have to go back! But the croissants are very good ????
Slightly over priced, we waited forever for our Latte's, and the Latte's were very strong and unpleasant compared to other places. Customer service was lacking and staff were very cold and robotic.
Walk in and you will be delighted by the sights and smells from Mami Clafoutis. I am not one for pastries however went to purchase a croissant for a devout french pastry patron. Service with a smile and from what I hear pastries are tasty. Thank you Mamie Clafoutis for coming to our neighbourhood
Croissants, tarts and baguettes are incredible!
Delightful! Excellent french pastry shop. Coffee was great. Comfy seating area, very cozy. Floor to ceiling add lots of natural light and a view of an interesting neighborhood. Well worth a visit! Easily passed the clean plates challenge.
Sweet bites
Neat place. Food is good. Service is a bit awkward and slow. Tough to figure out where to line up.
A great place for a relaxed morning. Very friendly environments and nice people.
Just find them very rude. Will never go back
Tasty pastries and decent service.
We use to come here almost every weekend for coffees. We would always order the same thing: mocha and latte with cinnamon on top. A few weeks ago when we went they charged us 75 cents for the sprinkle of cinnamon on the latte (first time ever being charged) and charged it as caramel syrup on the receipt (which we asked for). When my husband asked the cashier about it she said that they don't normally charge for it but her supervisor (woman) told her too. I called the store and asked to speak to the manager and this man came on. After explaining the situation he said that it was a rule from the senior supervisor (woman) who wasn't in today. Which begs the question who was the woman supervisor there that day? How many supervisors and managers do they have? And where they not following the rules previously then? Also 75 CENTS for a sprinkle of cinnamon?! like c'mon. Suffice it to say that the explanations provided by the "manager" and the cashier didn't really make sense to us and the entire incident has soured our experience there and we just haven't been back nor will we likely go back.
Great place, pastry is the best I've seen so far in Ottawa and the service is excellent:) What else can you say about a business!
Such a large selection of mouthwatering options that it took a while to decide. The dessert was wonderful. The raspberries were so succulent. The service was very good as well.
excellent
PROS: good pastries & drinks, luminous space CONS: poorly organized slow checkout, awkward seating (you can never have your back to a wall which I find disconcerting), some staff are passive aggressive and find power trippy ways to say things that could be said unobtrusively - you can tell they want you to feel the power dynamic, seating area closes early, a bit pricier than other places.
An amazing spot for some fresh baked goods, plan on going early if there's something you really want, this place sells out of the good stuff quick. Thanks for accommodating my allergies by waking the tongs when requested when bagging items to take out. Not a guarantee there's absolutely no contamination, but considerate nonetheless.
Fresh french bakery delicious bread and croissants.
Gem of a coffee shop, bakery and cake place. We had coffee, which was really good. Espresso was high quality. Milk options, almond etc. Great seating, sofa, tables and a kids play area. Staff were very helpful, multilingual and smiling.
My favourite bakery/cafe in Ottawa. Absolutely everything takes amazing and they have a large variety of baked goods and sandwiches. Great place
The almond croissant is a killer This is the perfect place for a good coffee
The blue cheese and walnut bread pastry was amazing when you are looking for a savoury item. The pastries are reliably good. The service was friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was pleasant. It was quiet on my recent visit, which was nice and relaxing.
The food was good but the price didn't match the serving size or overall quality. Drink service was ridiculously slow, not necessarily blaming the barista since it seemed like she was the only one making drinks with two or three other staff standing around. The matcha was not good, as in I've had better drinks from David's Tea.
Better croissants than Art-is-in.
Good service. But pricey for what it is. A danish is for example $4.50. A tiny piece of pie is $4.50 and more. Should offer a soup and some warm protein meals as well. Also, whipping cream for dessert choices.
Delicious food, good COVID protocols, friendly service. Unique sandwiches like Brie and Pears, mm! Also fresh baked bread, a little eating area, all good.

This is a great spot to go with the kids (or without)! Lots of delicious baked goods to choose from and lunch options. There's a fun area with toys, including a play kitchen, so keep kids occupied so parents can relax for a moment.
Best croissant in town.
If you like fresh baked goods then this is the place in Westboro. Friendly staff and great food. Sandwiches as well.
Very cute new bakery on Richmond - will definitely visit again
Very good quality of fine food but mixed with clumsy ness and disorganization. Ordering just took fifteen minutes! It is a shame. It could have earned 4 or 5 stars
(Translated) What an experience ????. Very good reception, beautiful showcase of products, I took sweet and savory and it was a real treat. Fresh, good and without forgetting a mocacino with- 26 felt its naturally imposed. Very nice clean place we can see the employees working behind. Merci j'y retournerai avec grand plaisir
I’ve been going to the Montreal Mamie Clafoutis on Nun’s Island for years and I was so happy to see this in Westboro. I have been a few times and have had a great experience each time. Thank you.
A pastry shop that can’t make croissants! When this place first opened up I had a pistachio croissant that was excellent, the next couple of times times they were under cooked. Went back today as they have a nice atmosphere and coffee is decent, thought I’d try the pistachio croissant. Well it was a lot darker than it should have been and very crunchy, obviously over cooked. I would think a decent bakery would be able to make croissants. I might go back but only for coffee.
Great pies ....even for birthdays serves 4 Check em out...don't forget there Chocolate croissant and baguettes amazing can't wait till next weekend when we go for a walk in Westboro...
I work across the street & noticed that they just opened. Went in to give them a try (I usually eat at the starbucks around the corner). I ordered my sandwich & waited a few minutes for it to be warmed up. I was lined up waiting to pay for it (there were only a few people in front of me who were waiting to pay so I had no indication that it would take long) and I noticed that the cashier was realllllly struggling to ring people through. I waited more than 15 minutes (at least 5 minutes per customer) to be rung up and once I finally get to the cash they tell me that their credit card/debit machine is down! The woman (who seemed to be either a manager or owner) mentioned that there were signs up, but I didn’t see any. In any case, they could have just told me before I ordered my sandwich that I'd only be able to pay in cash. It's 2018, not many people carry cash, including myself. I get it, machines break, it happens, but I've never been to a business where they don't inform you beforehand that they are only taking cash. It was silly and unprofessional. They were definitely friendly but they wasted my time and they wasted a sandwich because one would only hope that they wouldn't try to refridgerate & then reheat that same sandwich and then sell it to someone else. Personally, if I owned the place, I would have just given the sandwich to the customer for free instead of losing a potential repeat customer, not to mention all the time that was wasted and frustration that was caused. I definitely would have been a repeat customer seeing as how they are right across the street from me but I won't go back. They wasted my time and more importantly, my valuable lunch break time. They may just be off to a rough start but one thing is for sure, I'll never go back to determine whether or not that was the case.
Great pastries, but lineup tends to be a bit slow. They could definitely use a second cash.
Great place for coffee and pastries.
Excellent food
Excellent choice, very nice shop
Really good croissant and coffee. I little bit pricey. The bathrooms are inconvenient - like going to the bathroom at a gas station.
So many options!!! The selection is daunting, but in a good way. You wish you could try a little bit of everything. It's definitely one of the reasons we keep coming back. The staff is knowledge and friendly. The bakery has a modern European design, but manages to maintain a cozy feel that makes you feel at home. The toys for kids is a great bonus for those will little ones. Deciding to got to Mamie Clafoutis is easy, leaving is not.
Fair warning that this place is a bit pricey. But i must say that the almond croissant is to die for. The chocolate cake was amazing as well. I honestly recommend everything from this lovely place.
Very nice freshmade baked goods
Great!
Cute little bakery I randomly stumbled upon! Great find!
One of my favorite cafes in Ottawa. Great selection and everything is yummy

Highly recommended!
Nice place
Delicious! This is such a jewel in Ottawa, delicious pastries!
So excited to return here!!!!
(Translated) Good espresso! (Original) Bon espresso!
The pastry (the Oh My God) I had today was delicious. My displeasure was in the lack of cleanliness in the eating area. Tables aren’t cleaned after patrons leave and the floor was awefully dirty with food crumbs every where. I proceeded to wait for the women working the cash to give her some feedback on my way out both the good and not so good. After being ignored even after she’d cashed everyone through, I thought I’d send my message like this. If you want to keep people coming back...keep it clean! Tasty or.not, no one wants to eat in a dirty space.
I love the the croissants there when they get it right. It's a big hit or miss. Sometimes I'll get a nice crispy croissant telling me to comeback for more. Other times, I'll receive a wet and soggy one making me question my decision of going there.
Superb croissant and a variety of scrumptious quiches, including wonderful vegetarian options.
Pastries were so good but latte was not that good. Good place to come with family, not enough space. Noisy for people who wants to study.
Traditional French baking that comes with the staff's big smiles and excitement for you to try their goodies
Pleasant, cozy, comfortable with a great assortment of bread and pastries. A wonderful place for parents to enjoy coffee and cake while their kids are having fun in the kuds' corner.
Delicious! Amazing place for a nice coffee or chocolate, not to mention the croissants, breads, clafoutis etc... I really recommend...
Nice, bright space. The pumpkin spice latte and hot chocolate were both delicious. The staff are always friendly and helpful when placing an order
The pastries are great. However, I will never know. The staffs failed to make sure to pack my other pastries orders. I paid about $40 for nothing. This is the third time it happened to me. Never coming back again. Worst service ever.
Discovered this place a few months ago. The french parties are amazing and so is the bread. I cant grt enough of this place.
Best Brownies I ever had! It's a must go!
Great location and layout of the bakery. My disappointment was in the unpleasant and cold service followed by prices and quality of my main attraction: almond and pistachio croissants... The croissants were slightly undercooked/old, not crispy on the outside but, worse, somewhat doughy inside! For the price, I expected the croissants to be more than mediocre, instead, we ate less than half and tossed the rest out. I wouldn't waste my money or time. That being said, their other baked items LOOKED good... Though, I'd have said the same about the croissants before I tried them. Not impressed -at all!
We bought 2 cakes for staff. Everyone loved them! Not too sweet and a lot of flavour. Thank you!
Popped in for a danish, which was quite good. I need to go back to try some other delicious items. Shout out to Amir, who welcomed me warmly. Service like that leaves an impression and ensures repeat business.
Decadent baked goods and delish coffees.
Not a bad place only complaint is have is they don't keep up with cleaning of the place tables are sticky . These are regular health code procedures it the owners responsibilities took keep there on things. Will try you again hopefully things are better.
Very good pastry. Very high prices.
amazing!
Went there to study today, loved the ambiance, the baked goods and the coffee. Will go again.
Excellent baked treats. Good coffee as well.
A big thank you to the chef for going the extra mile for us on a very busy Sunday. My daughter is gluten-free and dairy-free and the only potential option on the menu on that day was a gluten-free grilled cheese sandwich. We asked the staff as to whether there were any other options. The lovely front staff then talked to the chef who came over to personally talk to us. She offered to tweak their offerings so that my daughter could have a sandwich that was both gluten-free and diary free. Thank you so very much!!! The personal touch is what makes all the difference!

Great pastry. Amazing and warm atmosphere
Very happy with the pastries. Really liked the pistachio croissant.
Absolutely delicious pastries and very friendly staff
Delicious.
Great atmosphere and delicious food!
Great pastry, friendly staff and good coffee. They have a really nice seating area and it's nicely decorated.
What an amazing place. The croissant I had was flawless and the space is truly beautiful, peaceful, and overall, well designed. The sign on the front door stating credit is not accepted (only debit and credit) is entirely reasonable, however, visiting from the US, my debit card did not work for some reason, even though it was accepted everywhere else this trip. Given the circumstances I was told they could only accept US currency at face value, which is perfectly fair, but a shame given the already somewhat high prices. Just curious as to why my card didn't work here. Aside from this, please come visit
Overpriced for what you get
