The best Mediterranean food in Aylmer!

This is a great shop for homemade Mediterranean dishes. The owner is really friendly and the food tasty. We tried a selection of different sweets and all were DELICIOUS. I recommend trying the apple and quince squares and the crunchy Greek pistachio maamoul.

I feel bad to leave a poor review. The woman was so kind and friendly. A small business just trying to survive I’m sure. I have no doubt there was an effort made, but if you can’t make something well, don’t agree to do it and charge so much for a poor product. My husband saw 5 stars and ordered me a chocolate cake for my birthday but as soon as I cut it I could tell it was dry. The icing was runny and so the cake didn’t have a nice texture at all. I don’t know what this place specializes in but it’s not birthday cakes. $42 wasted.

Amazing Arabic bakery in Aylmer! When I first moved to the area I was pretty disappointed with the food options here. Mostly just junk, and nothing I'd really consider edible. Thankfully found this bakery. Owners are very friendly and kind. So far I've tried the Sabanekh (spinach triangle pastries), hummus, babaganoush/mtableh, wrapped grape leaves, magdous (stuffed, pickled eggplant), and it's all authentic and delicious.
