This is a review for their service. I’m offering 2* on top of my 1* because folks who successfully get their order rave about them. I contacted the bakery 3+ weeks before my kid’s first birthday for a quote. It’s a week to the day of the event and I never received a response. Over the phone they repeatedly said they would be sending me a response in a couple of days or the same day. I am now running around last minute looking for someone who can make my cake. It’s so disappointing.

Very cute shop with nice cakes and desserts. They offer a lot of services for birthdays and marriages. I like all their flavors, but the cupcakes themselves are sometimes ppretty dry. Thats not too much of a problem though, since the frosting helps a lot with that. Since it's a small shop, their flavors of cupcakes are limited, but that's to be expected.

I was trying to order a cake for my 21st Birthday. I called in 3 weeks before and was told to send an email with the details. I sent an email and received no response, after 4 days I followed up and finally got an answer with more questions which I immediately provided. I never heard back, I called in and kept getting told "I was in the kitchen, I will get back to you" or "I was away hadn't gotten time to check my email.". It's very frustrating and this companies actions lacked the simplest form of customer service. I am not degrading the quality of their products, but definitely the customer service. Very unfortunate.

I ordered a cake for my mom's birthday from Gateau Neo after a coworker had raved about their cakes. I submitted an online request and got a response directly after and we confirmed the order. I had described what I wanted in my online order but the finished cake was more beautiful than I ever would've imagined! I was in awe when I picked it up, and my mom absolutely loved it. She especially loved the bird cake topper Nathalie had made for the cake. The whole thing was stunning, and we appreciated the extra details like the added gold sparkles and packing the cake topper separately for easier transport. Of course the cake was also super delicious! Love, love, love everything about my experience and 100% recommend Gateau Neo!

I had them put an edible picture that i sent to them by e-mail, they added really nice decorations and the cake tasted just a good as it looked! The shop is ran by a family from Aylmer and they are all very nice and fun to deal with.

For my mother's 60th birthday we had a very talented friend make her cake. Unfortunately it turned out very badly so with only a few hours until the party, ny sister and I brought our disaster cake to Neo and immedialy 3 cake artists were rallied around it trying to make it what we had initially envisioned. The revamped cake was ready within 2 hours and these amazing people didnt want to charge us a cent for their hard work. We gave them a tip but literally refused to accept further payment for their services. Neo Gateau saved the day. And on a side note, while I was there I had a chance to see some of their original creations coming out of the kitchen and i was blown away by how incredibly perfect they all looked. This place has talent and heart. STRONGLY RECOMMEND. Also, our friend charged us more than Neo said they would have charged for the same cake so their prices are very reasonable too!

I am extremely disappointed in that cake place. I asked for a blue cake, what’s more simple than that??? I got a white cake. I HAD SAID BLUE. Blue! And what’s more, we I said I was going to get it at 3pm, and guess what?! 30 minutes later the cake was still not done! I am never, never going to go back there again. I can’t say how much I looked forward to getting that amazing BLUE cake. Nowadays when you want something to be done right I suppose you always have to do it yourself.
