I have been in streets of syria under the dome of the hamidiah souq in Damascus dating back over a thousand years with shops open throughout. The everyday affordable people food you eat there is a genuine slice of life. And this gem of a place brought those memories back. Not many of these on the Gatineau side, glad one opened up.
