Please is utterly amazing and if I lived in Ottawa it would be a weekly - weekend trip. Without reservation I'd recommend the: pizza Bergere, Pear and Ginger Muffin, and t/croissant aux chocolate. The coffee is good even if the milk is heated a tad too hot.

Ordered Chocolate and Almond Croissants, they tasted great, the right amount of chocolate and almond. But Croissants had significant butter in them, not the bad butter but the good one. May be this is what makes them standout. I also ordered Aux pains Olives (olive bread), it's also amazing. I would recommend this Bakery to everyone who is looking for a delicious treat. Just be aware that in covid era, only 3 people allowed inside, so there is some line up outside the store.

An Aylmer institution in the making. It offers spectacular artisan breads and baking, as well as a selection of local cheeses, honey and sauces. The baguette and Pain Sophie are especially good. The only reason I'm not awarding 5 stars is because too often they are out of bread by 3 or 3:30 in the afternoon, which isn't helpful for folks who work more traditional hours. Note that they are closed on Monday and Tuesday.

Tried out Boulangerie Aux Deux Freres today and had a great experience. There was a short line that took about 10 minutes before entering, which I regarded as a good sign, and this was proven right once entering the bakery. A wonderful smell permeated the air and I opted for a cinnamon bun, an apparent Sunday speciality, as well as an amandine croissant and pesto pizza slice. The cinnamon bun was excellent, fluffy and full of cinnamon and the croissant had a great texture with a tasty almond filling. I have yet to try out the pizza! Overall, I'd definitely return to purchase a few baguettes, and I'd wait much longer in line for that cinnamon bun.

I've been going here since it opened. I'm a fan of their Sourdough breads which are amazing and never found them lacking in any way. In fact the last much longer than a processed bread so in the long run they are cheaper due to their longevity. Never any waste. As well I've always been greeted and treated very well by the staff. We were in Aylmer, Quebec, visiting friends in town. We found this bakery when we were out walking from the nearby British Hotel where we were staying. We found the bakery when we saw a content stream of people going in and coming out of a neat little house. We were curious and joined in the line up. A lot of people buying bread. We chatted with fellow shoppers, who were surprised to find out that we were from Vancouver. They were the regulars at the bakery. We bought a glutton free loaf of bread, some macaroons and coffee to go. The owner was very friendly too. The bread and macaroons were above average in quality. And the dark coffee was awsome, just as promised.
