Delicious Middle Eastern caterer and grocery. They have fresh food to go and an impressive variety of spices, olive oil, nuts, dates, deserts and so on. They make one of the best hummus of the region and their catering menu is surprisingly affordable for its great quality! It’s one of the hidden gems of Hull!

Not sure what I did not like specifically but I got an unpleasant vibe, and prices are on the expensive side. I felt like I was bothering the owner for sure or he was having a bad day - happens to the best of us. Selection is good but we agreed that we wouldn't return, just an awkward location in traffic rush hour.

Mjardara at Beirut Boulangerie is the only store bought that my kids will eat. A wide selection of specialty foods and products. The garlic sauce is a bit weak it potency for my family's taste but still very tasty. Meat pies, salads and canned goods a plenty. Worth a visit!

I tried the falafel, and was surprised to see that it had a brown interior, was super salty, and the texture was off--it was gooey. Then I decided to try the safia sweets (on the shelves underneath the cashier), the mammoul aux dattes and mammoul aux pistaches. They both tasted aged, dusted, bland! I checked for the expiration date on the wrapper, but it wasn't anywhere to be found. Just don't eat those or the falafel. How do you mess up falafel? Its so easy too. I checked the store's inventory and it is limited. its got beans, canned goods, olive oils, olives, bread, amongst other things that were just the same thing but from a different company. I also found it to be pricy. I dont see any reason to return.
