The WORST SHARWAMA EVER. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL. I even have colleagues that have said both their cake and sharwama are horrible. I just wasted my money. Unfortunately I can't give a zero star. But you Guys need to review your recipes.

I have tried cupcakes and various pastry from many locations including the Boss from NYC/NJ. and these are the best. I am not a huge desert fan but a monkeycake and some of his coffee is so good it should be illegal.

The nicest people you will ever meet! They just started making scones, and the blueberry are better than any other in the city. Of course their cupcakes are always excellent, that and the cakes are the specialty. Coffee is also available, very good gourmet coffee. Jon loves his coffee as much as I do. I have tried 3 time, each time wanting the cupcakes to be better. Thought I got them on a bad day each time. The cake is very dense and heavy, very disappointing. not what you want a cupcake to be. Likely the batter is overbeaten. Has been that way each time, with all the flavors I had tried. Definitely won't return.

Easily the best cake/cup cake shop in NB, even better than Chesspiece, friendly service and the price honestly can’t be beat, my wife and I got our wedding cake done here so that should give you an idea of how good these people are! :)

Purchased a cake for my brother/sister-in-law’s baby shower. Icing was very tasty but rock hard. Cake was unbearably dry. Driest cake I’ve ever had. The baby design on the cake looked like I did the decorating. Overall, not good enough for a $65 custom-made cake. Almost no one at the party finished their piece of cake. I could buy two cakes of far superior quality from a grocery store for that price.

I would avoid this business at all costs! I had a custom birthday cake baked for a relative and was extremely disappointed in the quality. The cake was dry and the icing was hard like a rock. I was so embarrassed serving this cake, and if I were the owner of Monkey Cakes, I would be so ashamed selling a product like that to people for their special celebrations. Shameful.

Dec 2020...A vanilla birthday cake for a milestone birthday. Not sure what it cost but was very disappointed . . Icing was rock hard. and the cake was so dry and heavy. A 10 inch cake and it weighed a ton. Not even a slice eaten. Sad really a waste.. First time customers I told my husband to take it back as there was only a bite taken. He said no we would just chalk it up to experience and not go there again.

I have been waiting for a quote since August 19th... It is now September 13th and still no quote! Someone replied back asking what it was I wanted on August 19th, I even sent a picture of what I wanted that same day, however I have not heard from anyone since. I have also sent a message through to Facebook on September 8th, and just nicely got a reply on September 13th at 3:56AM asking where I sent the Picture of the cake I wanted for my child's 4th Birthday! I figured if I made contact in ample amount of time, this would allow them to get it together. I thought wrong! Due to their lack of response and ignoring customers, I have been forced to take my business else where as I have less than a week to get a cake. Highly poor customer service, and extremely unacceptable! For this I do not recommend this company. If you want to wait weeks for someone to get into contact with you, definitely use this company! But don't contact them a month in advance thinking they'll get right back to you because they won't!

Worst cupcakes I've ever had. Vanilla cupcake was so dry I could hardly hold it without of falling all apart. Carrot cake tasted ok but frosting didn't taste much like cream cheese. I wouldn't go back or recommend to anyone.
