Its disappointing how the quality, variety and service has deteriorated over the past few years. Old, cold coffee. Toasted bagels were cold by the time the coffee was poured. Saturday morning, but over half of the various bagel bins were empty... and NOT from being too busy. Only one other customer in the store for the entire time we sat there.

Such a great selection! They had a deal on when I was there on cream cheese. Get some and get 2 bagels for free. I had maple, herb n cheese, and bacon cheddar. Apple cinnamon cream cheese. All really great quality and delicious

Used to be my favorite place to pick up a dozen bagels. Sad to see in my recent experience the quality has went down. The cheddar bacon were my favorites as they used to be covered in cheese and bacon bits and cheese marbled inside as well. This last visit you could clearly see a single square cheese slice was added on top not even covering the whole top and very little if any cheese inside. Same as the cheddar jalapeno - lack of ingredients inside; might as well have bought a plain.

Dec 11th, family of 6 ordered lunch there, employees making our orders, handling cash, bare hands, no food handling gloves, turned us all off, threw order in the garbage. In this day and age food handler gloves are the norm, not bare hands, sad.

Just had a bagel here today, the service was amazing and the lady taking my order was really nice and quick about everything. The bagel was pretty good too and there were lots of options to choose from. I would definitely go back, and the prices are pretty good too. If you're wondering on coming here I would recommend that you definitely try it out, and if you're feeling hungry I would recommend 2 bagels as eating the first one made me hungrier for a second. Solid 5 stars.

Bagels are truly the best here. The breakfast combos are excellent and reasonably priced. Wide variety of bagels to choose from including plain, everything, jalapeno, bacon, and cinnamon toast! I love the fact that you can choose your toppings just as if you were at Subway. They do not skimp on the ingredients, and I was impressed my cheddar bacon bagel had the bacon pieces throughout the whole bagel instead of just being on top.

I was at Great Canadian Bagel just a little bit ago and I had the Western sausage Supreme on and cinnamon raisin bagel. It was so good I almost want to go back and buy another one. Staff are friendly and personable. When we went through the drive-thru one of the staff members gave my dog, a dog treat. That Jester made my dog very happy and made me very happy. I would highly recommend this place.

Great bagel and decent coffee; however, the staff did not use gloves while touching the bagels and serving them. I wonder about the inspection of Canada Food Agency! I love Bagels but I won't go again unless they change this! I hope that the manager takes into consideration this issue with the serving bagels. The employee who took our order seemed either half asleep or cranky. Maybe a mix. He wasn't rude, but he wasn't friendly. The person in front of us had an issue paying or something, so we did have a bit of a wait, but it wasn't their fault. The food was okay. It was my first time and I wasn't blown away. The place was clean, but it felt dated. More of a grab-and-go breakfast type thing I suppose.

One of the better and healthier places to eat in town when you're in a bit of a hurry and dont want the "fast food" per say. A dozen bagels for 9.25 is a great buy. You'd be hard pressed to get that price in any grocery store.

Okay coffee, great prices, and great service. The establishment lives up to its name. This place has served as a classy uptown meet-up to a hangover breakfast getaway more than once and it always hits the spot. There is a good deal of seating and a huge selection of tasty bagels and creamy cream cheeses. The coffee is tasty and the few times I had any issues(coffee snob here), they were more than happy to help resolve them. Grab a bagel and a coffee, or take 12 home to share(or eat yourself later ;P).

Good prices and you can buy 8 to snack on with cream cheese at a great price! Very good for a small breakfast and coffee or just a snack! Recommend stopping by no matter where you're going!

I haven’t been here in several years due to bad service, but after hearing that there was new management, I wanted to give it another go… now I wish I didn’t bother. I went in this afternoon; I was having a heard time hearing the man behind the counter and had to ask him to repeat himself a few times. I felt really bad about it and apologized, explaining I was having trouble hearing him (as someone who works in customer service I know how annoying something like that could be). Unfortunately, I was met with rudeness and this man rolling his eyes at me. Like I said, I understand it is frustrating to have to repeat yourself several times, but If I’m being honest, I felt very embarrassed and anxious after that. I rushed out of the store after paying and I do not plan on going back. I hope that this doesn’t happen to someone else, especially someone who is hard of hearing.

This used to be a real treat. Lately it has been a disappointment. Twice the selection was poor even though it was at noontime. They were out of spinach and feta...twice. The breakfast sandwich was very skimpy on ingredients, and they must have changed the recipe for the choc chip bagel, looks and tastes totally different...quite bland. Sorry, I just wanted to pass it along. I will give them another go because I have points, too bad, I used to love their food. Colleen

Extremely disappointed with my experience this morning. Used to be my favourite breakfast place... but, sadly, I will not be returning. My ‘toasted’ bagel was barely toasted, yet the edges were burnt. The layer of cream cheese was so thin, I could barely taste it... I told the lady that I love cream cheese and asked her politely to add more... but she added very little. I also missed being able to add my cream/milk to my coffee myself.
