Located in downtown. There are other stores near by. Big grocery store. Very neat and clean. Well organized. Lots of signage to guide shoppers. Wide aisles. I love their fruits section. Lots of topical fruit like jackfruits available here which is not available in other stores. Vegetables are very good quality and fresh. Bakery section is so good. Fresh seafood, meet and other fishes available here. Very good flowers selection. Canada post boxes are also available here. Expensive compared to Superstore, but quality is very good. Lots of parking lots including para parking. Very good customer service. Washroom available for customer. I like this store. Highly recommend others to try this store.

It's mostly a good store. Pretty clean with a lot of good sales. Lots of options for a quick bite too, if you are just looking for a reasonably priced lunch. The staff are moderately helpful. The one problem I have is they take a long time to restock there products. If at all sometimes. Their bulk section is always pretty empty which is unfortunate. The store uptown is better for these issues though. Other than that, They are a pretty good store.

Sobeys was a great store and the prices were surprisingly great I baught fresh live lobster and it was 1299 per pound that is cheaper than you can buy it for in Newfoundland and that's not a newfie joke.

Overall nice store. Although very small selection of fresh vegetables. Many of the deli items appear days old such as the prefab salads and Chinese food. You can see the discoloration on the top as if they've been sitting in the deli case for a while. Good location but there's just too many grocery stores downtown to support them all. Save your cash go to Superstore or Safeway.

My wife had called this store looking for a particular item and was told over the phone that the item was in stock, we traveled down to the store to find out that the items we were looking for (specific to Sobeys) was not in stock at all. We went and asked customer service why we had been told they were in stock and the employee sincerely apologized to us and offered us a gift card in lieu. A pleasant end to an unpleasant debacle! 1+ for Sobeys customer service

Went to Canada post office... SHOPPERS downtown. Worst service, beyond horrible. Saturday June 29th 10am The post office representative... short with his words and above all did not want to help me. Had to return Amazon parcels...said he dont offer tape or sleaves for my Amazon return info for parcel. Said you have to pay for tape, return sleaves. Gave me post office damage return plastic bags.... not even remotely what I needed to send off parcels. I grabbed my mail and all my paper work went to sobeys post office JM was wonderful... respectful, polite above all new exactly how to help to get my parcels off to AMAZON... I will never return to Shoppers post office to do further business. Thank you JM ????

I would re-train some of your staff as they lack customer service skills like someone fresh out of school. The cashier was great, the customer service guy & manager could learn something from her. If the sale tag price is still under an item, you should honor it and give it to the customer. But instead, your night shift manager on December 4th wanted to argue with my friend about how "the policy is changed", and that you don't have to give it to the customer for the sale price if the tag is expired and the sale was no longer valid. We are customers, so whether your policy changed or not means little to us because we can't check to see if that's true. What an embarrassing experience, so thank you for that, and we will not be back.
