Bone and Biscuit is a HUGE supporter of the local animals rescues and is always willing to do what they can for our animal community. If you have not gone into this store, you need too! You will not be disappointed. Customer service and satisfaction if their main concern.

Nice little pet stores great variety of food and treats for your pets. A little more boutique pet store then I would like but they acarry some items that are good quality. Staff is extremely friendly, and have been more then accommodating with the numerous gear issues I have had with ruffwear equipment.

Bone and Biscuit is a wonderful smaller pet supply store. We are lucky, here in PG, that our Bone and Biscuit is staffed by two amazing women. Neither tries to sell you something for the sake of making a sale. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly helpful. They really care about your animals, and helping you make the right decision for the best interest of your pet within your budget. It's always a bright note to the day visiting the shop.

Was my first visit to this store and the only reason I discovered it was thanks to Google Maps, that's because as a newbie to the area the shop is a little hidden away and there are many many strips of shops and businesses in the area (it is located in the Business District after all) I will admit I had a little trouble figuring out where it was based on my memory of the map, however if I had a device in front of me to see the map in real time I'd have no trouble. (I don't have a smartphone and just use Maps on my Chromebook) It's a little tight in here but store space is expensive, plus my large hyperactive pup doesn't make anything easy and anywhere I go with him can quickly become awkward if indoors. The staff were friendly but I was asked more than once if I needed help looking for anything. This might be because I spent more time than the usual customer perhaps, but it was my first time and I knew only the category of items I was looking for and I wanted to check out everything the store had to offer. I felt a little like the staff were hovering, but that is nothing new in Grande Prairie businesses. Not sure if theft is an issue in the store or not but to the staff please know that if someone is going to steal they are going to steal regardless if you are hovering or not.. trying to catch them or disuade them by watching them and asking them if they need help does nothing but make the customer feel awkward if they are in fact a legit customer. They do have some products here, especially in the accessory department that are sold cheaper at other stores, so be aware of prices. In one case the markup was 50% higher than what I could have paid by going to a big name pet store. There is a big brand pet store not far away from here so I would suggest they stick to selling the more unique items since there is no advantage at all purchasing an item here that can be found sold elsewhere They have a few isles of food but nothing that I haven't been able to find in other stores. Ironically I don't buy my dog food from any pet store to be honest, but I'm always looking for unique treats and durable healthy chews. They have some meaty vacuumed sealed rib bones for under $4 that my dog loves and I've never found elsewhere. Wide selection of raw foods in the back cooler and durable, natural treats. This is our new spot to get treats that's for sure, as they also have a wide selection of great raw treats! Their store loyalty program is based on food only, unfortunate as this is a common trend in the pet stores. I would love to see a points system based on amount spent on all items, something like Shoppers Optimum but in the pet store. Even a loyalty program for buying their homemade treats I'd welcome. They have the best selection of pet tags with an awesome DIY engraving machine. Pricey but totally worth it for the quality. Not as many toys as we had hoped for but they make up for it with the great selection of grooming and treats on offer.

The lady working was able to tell us pretty much everything about each brand without reading the bag. Shared her experiences, gave great informed advice. I regularly drive from the opposite end of town to buy pet food and supplies. This is the place to buy the best quality food. The manager is so knowledgeable and helpful. If I'm looking for something they don't have then she knows where I can order it from. The only critique I would give is to stop giving customers plastic bags, unnecessary and wasteful.

I bought a tooth spray called Complete Oral Care by PetzLife for $32 that was recommended by the store attendant to remove plaque from teeth and freshen my pouches breath but, after using it once a day as per the directions for a few days, we noticed the he wasn't himself and was drooling all over the house. I stopped using it and after a couple of days he was back to himself. I tried using it again but the same thing happened so I went back today to try to return or exchange it. Even though they were aware that this was the reaction of some dogs (which was not mentioned when I purchased it) they wouldn't even give me a store credit, even though we only used 6 or 7 sprays and brought it back with a recipe and in the original package. Pet Value and Northstar Pet Store are much more accommodating of things like this and have offered at least a store credit for situations like this so even though they aren't as close to home we will be sticking with them.

Great selection of supplies but for staff friendliness without being overbearing I'd honestly go to the B&B in Thickwood. The women here are a bit too pushy (asked twice in less than 5 minutes if I needed help finding anything). If you like being hovered over, I'll give it a 5 but not my cup of tea. Pricing is in line with the rest of Fort McMurray's pet shops.

They don't try to up-sell, they legitimately just enjoy what they do and care about the well-being of animals. Aside from their amazing products and service, they often hold fundraising events to raise money for animal rescues and charities - we're big fans of the Holiday photo corners! Highly recommended

So totally worth checking out. My cat wasn't feeling well on her birthday so we are staying away from seafood for a bit (she usually goes crazy for it but lately not so much). I was recommended some freeze dried chicken and also a duck heart. She loved both of them (ate the whole heart lol) the staff person there today was super friendly and really able to make me feel comfortable trying new things with my furbaby. And even helped out with what to get my neighbour dog (who has some health issues and is adorable ????) totally telling friends to go there

My vet recommended we try RECOVERY for our older arthritic dog. Purchased it at BONE AND BISCUIT, where we buy our dog food. UNBELIEVABLE great results. She is running and climbing stairs again.
