Good brewed coffee, lots of espresso based drinks with your choice of milk or non dairy options. Bright and clean atmosphere good for meeting up with groups, you can also plug in your laptop and work here so good for students and working remotely.

The service here has really improved, The morning baristas are friendly and efficient. Avenue has a nice array of coffees and teas to enjoy. The prices are steep especially if you’re grabbing a snack or lunch and they’re not open until 8 on Sunday mornings which leaves a lot of its 6-7 patrons without coffee or breakfast while staying in the Ramada. Hotels should offer breakfast from 5-11am especially the Ramada but unfortunately Sundays are an opportunity for the competition to profit.

Don’t bother coming here close to closing. Ordered a 16oz London fog but tried to pass my order off for 12oz...i could hear them talking about it. The person took my order told the person making it what size it should be....did not want to wait any longer decided to leave. No one offered a refund for the smaller size or a full refund. I do want to support local businesses but if you just don’t care then why should I.

Great place. The staff was super friendly and helpful. As a tea drinker I had no idea what most of the drinks were. Keegan was knowledgeable and answered my questions. I tried their Valentine's chocolate beet root latte( that's probably the wrong name ) my friend had an Americano Misto. Very comfy atmosphere as well. Will definately go again.

I really hate to leave a bad review but I had to come back to work so I am not able to speak with staff directly. I ordered a cappuccino and when I received it there was not even half of a cup filled with the $5 beverage. Because there was not nearly enough foam it is so strong I am not able to drink it. I was really disappointed and I hope no one else has this experience.

Ordered coffee along with 10 other people. Waited for 45 min and not a single drink was made. Then the worker decided that was the best time to fix posters at the entrance. Terrible service. The drinks we did end up receiving were extremely low quality. See picture

Enjoyed the atmosphere as well as my espresso. Paid 3.25 for a single shot of espresso so quite a bit more than their competitors. Their ginger molasses cookies were amazing. Felt bad for the barista as she was the only one working when the place was at near capacity.

I find the staff the last couple of months have been lacking attention to detail. Between giving drinks to the wrong customers to not making the drink as per the customer's request. I'm lucky I choose almond milk as a choice and not a dietary concern; as more and more often they have been using regular milk. I feel as though I shouldn't have to varify my order when I receive my drink

It's cool, it's good, it's hip, and multi-demographic; older, younger, babies, beautiful couples and people writing and working. There is a farmer's market up the street that one can walk to on Saturdays and theres a bunch of places conveniently nearby. The coffee was very good. Hipster cafe in a hipster part of town. Very cool decor - slightly industrial with reclaimed wood.

Recently went in to grab an afternoon Mocha and when I took my first sip it tasted off and really acidic, unlike how they ussually are. I polietly let the empolyees know and asked if they could add more chocolate. the one woman was fantastic and offered to make me a new one. the other lady was incredily rude, blamed the soy milk, made a judgmental face and told me there were already two pumps of chocolate. she scoffed and laughed at me and made me feel incredily unwelcome and bad for letting them know, likely not coming back

The ladies were super helpful and patient with me. I couldn't decide what I wanted...I needed a good caffeine boost, they recommended the cortina? I got it with a shot of espresso, splash of vanilla and caramel drizzled over it. This is what dreams are made of. I'll be back... Soon. ????????????????????

Beautiful set up and trendy little place that would be perfect for quick business meeting. The staff has been friendly the few times I went in there. I their desserts and sandwiches but didn't really like my London Fog which I try twice but both times where on the bland side. But my wife enjoy her coffees she order there. It's a little on the pricey side but I can understand because they probably have to pay rent for their nice location. I will be returning and I will try their London Fog again maybe its third time is a charm lol.

It's a really nice looking place but is let down by severely inefficient service. We had an incredibly long wait for our order that arrived in bits and pieces. If you sit near to the espresso machine you will probably end up with other customers butt's in your face while they wait for their drinks too. ????????

Cosy spot to read a book, chat with a friend, or get some work done. Their lattes are super yummy and they have different sweets and pastries to try each time I go. Staff are very kind and professional, and will give recommendations if you aren't sure what to get. There are tables, a counter, and a meeting room at the back that can be booked for groups.

just awesome...I'm a very picky person when it comes to my coffee...and since I'm lactose intolerant I have to compromise at many places...but this place is just awesome...the staff is very friendly and the lady also offered me types of dairy free milk (soy,almond,cocunut). if you guys would like to keep taste of coffee on ur taste buds go for spinach bistro as it's not sweet yet delicious...excellent ambience for students, writer or if you want just some quiet alone time...

Staying at the hotel in the building for a week and was hoping this would be the place I’d go for breakfast everyday. Unfortunately I had a pretty disappointing experience. I had a latte where the espresso seemed to be under-extracted as it was quite watery. Muffin was small, not very flavorful and $5. Staff seemed pretty indifferent.

Terrible experience. The lady took our orders and then went to the back to take a break instead of making drinks. When she came out she went to adjust some signs hanging in the window, and someone from our party had to go over and ask if she could please make our drinks first before adjusting posters. Another table was waiting for their drinks with us as well and we were shocked how long it took. When we were finally served, the drinks were cold and not fully mixed, and we didn’t even get our dessert. Will never be back here.

We had breakfast here a couple days ago and it was excellent! The owner/ staff were all very nice and served us quickly. The atmosphere is much like the previous version of the establishment, relaxing and tasteful. The food was good, especially the chocolate chip pancakes and the portions were perfect for me. A beautiful shop, nice atmosphere with music to match. The staff were nice enough but I had to repeat my order from start to finish twice, and she still forgot to grab my treat. They seemed very distracted with their own conversation which sounded like they were bashing another staff member.

Really want to support and love this place as someone who has been anxiously awaiting for them to reopen since the flood and it's in my neighborhood. I've gone 4 times now and was disappointed. I can understand staffing affecting their service issues, hope that improves. But their coffee/tea game needs work to be considered a cafe. 4 various tea lattes that tasted like hot water and milk , teabags not being steeped for near enough time before adding milk (also tried various coffee choices and those were disappointing). Got a croissant that was super cold and rock hard. I really like the food menu here but service and drinks need more training and attention to detail.

I used to love coming to this place years ago, but since it's reopened after the flooding it has completely changed and was disappointing. There was no menu or prices displayed anywhere - either on the walls or printed out anywhere. I ordered two small cappuccinos, and they were very bland. Mostly milk. And they were quite expensive. There was also very limited options for baked goods, nothing compared to what there was years ago. They also do not seem to care about the covid restrictions. One employee working in the kitchen had their mask hanging around their chin, and two other people in the back were not wearing masks at all. For a place that serves food this is concerning. Very sad to see how this place has declined. I used to love coming here! Hopefully it will improve.

Got the iced chai tea which was delicious, and got the ham and cheese croissant sandwich, which was very yummy aswell, I wish they had heated it up just a little bit more because the ham was slightly cold. The quality of the drink and food was very good and prices were very fair, when I come to visit fort Mcmurray again I will come here again.
