Absolutely horrible. If you want a cake, go anywhere else. I put so much work into a picture for my twin brothers birthday and lafarina butchered it. When I saw the cake, I started crying because of how horrible it was. Never again will I trust these incompetent people to make a simple cake for me. Even the writing was horrible. Should of went to Dairy Queen or a Grocery store. They would of at least had nicer writing on the cake. The owner Frank and his son are absolutely horrible people, extremely rude, and incompetent. I highly suggest to never ever ever go to this bakery. Horrible customer service/just plain service. You will be extremely disappointed.

The food is excellent. The staff seem friendly. I've purchased some baked goods and pizza thus far on multiple occasions and I'm very impressed. Convenient location on Lundy's Lane. Parking is good. Store layout is very nice. It's a big store and carries a lot of products. I'm looking forward to eating in at the sit in area and trying their hot food as it looks and smells wonderful. Prices seem in line with the quality. Very well priced. I'll continue to shop here and I guess that speaks volumes as there are many bakeries in the Falls but this one seems to be a bit higher in quality and presence. Bravo

Extremely disappointed in the cake I ordered for my son's Birthday. I picked out a Spider-Man cake from a book they have showing all kinds of kids cakes so what I was expecting was NOT what I got. The cake decor was AWFUL definitely not fun for a kids cake, the cake itself (which was supposed to be plain vanilla) had a red tint to it and a funny taste. The parents at my son's Birthday immediately said there was alcohol in it so I called the La Farina right away to inquire. While I know they did not use alcohol I was told they use a red syrup. WHY, I wanted plain vanilla not vanilla with red syrup. None of the kids would eat it the parents thought it tasted really bad. When I called I was met with the WORST customer service. I was basically told I don't know what good cake is and that they make their cakes in a European way and that if I wanted a Zhers cake I should have went there. It was a $90 mistake I will not make again and they lost a customer, although I don't think they care. Maybe they should remove their misleading kids cake book so more parents don't make the same mistake I did. If you aren't Zhers don't advertise the same cakes as them.

If you've never been here you are missing a little Italian gem in the city. The place is spotless and clean and has a wealth of options to choose from whether it be meats, cheeses or their incredibly large bakery assortment.

I have enjoyed the products at La Farina, as have my family, for years. I always put the quality of products over the poor customer service received at the cash register. However, today was the straw that broke the camel’s back. A pleasant experience throughout my visit until I was yelled at for asking for my bread to be sliced as I was in line to pay. This had been the procedure I was told on my previous visit so I followed it again. Today the procedure apparently changed. The main problem caused was that the cashier’s helper sliced the bread which would mean the cashier wouldn’t have a helper and thus cause a line up. However, I had already waited in line for ten minutes...while the cashier helper was present to help the cashier. I had assumed a line up would be welcomed as a sign of a thriving business.

Should not be called a bakery. With the exception of the bread and rolls, all the baked goods are either stale or frozen. I was mortified when I brought home a strudel to serve to guests and it was frozen solid in the middle! I will not go there for any type of food other than bread or rolls.

Decent products, although the cupcakes were a little stale. AWFUL service, it took the lady behind the counter asking me 4 times what l wanted before she finally focused on what she was doing. She got distracted called to another lady about something that wasn’t pressing(the donuts were the wrong way on the tray). Answered the phone. By the time she managed to figure out my order there were about 7 customers waiting in line behind me. Work on your customer service!

Visit here all the time and I used to love buying fresh croissants in the morning. The last two times I came home to stale, day old croissants. The first time I thought it was just a bad bake, but going again within the week and getting more stale ones is not a coincidence. Incredibly disappointing as I really want to keep supporting a local business, but this is just not acceptable. At least sell them for half price so customers know what they are buying. So disappointing when I looked forward to it so much.

Go Saturday morning for rolls for dinner only to find them dry come dinner time! Looks like its time to go back to my original go to. The second time I ordered a lemon cake and received Lemon cake that they decided to flavor with cherry. It also was not decorated the way I asked. My fault for giving them a second chance.

Unfortunately I don’t have anything good to say about this place. Breads were ok. I got some cookies, I guess they are from another week or so! They mixed the old ones with the less old ones! They are smelling oil (like the machine oil or something like that) also they were as stale as a cookie could be! There isn’t any other way to sell more stale. It is chemically impossible!

OMG all Italians must come here. It's like Nonna's kitchen but on steroids. Desserts are amazing and sandwiches are humongous. Very affordable if you don't want to spend a fortune like the rest of Niagra.

This bakery is amazing ! Every time we come to the falls we drop in and start drooling. The quality is superb and they have a hot plate counter for lunches as well. The crazy amount of different sweat is absolutely insane. I have tried quite a bit of there array of sweats and I have never been dissatisfied once ! I also want to say the staff is very easy going and will help you out for what ever your looking for. Lunch ! For sure as their hot table has a nice variety of food and all made from high quality ingredients. I have ate there lunch a few times and there is even a few small tables to sit down and enjoy your food. Well all i have to say is me and my wife and mother in law love this place and we will be back many more time to come.Thank you La Farina as your sweats and hot food is simply amazing !!! This was my third and last time at this place, unfortunately the food is good but the LADIES working there have the worst attitude that I've ever seen, they are always grumpy and treated me bad, seems like they don't like their job or probably they don't like to work at all, I gave them the chance of "just having a bad day" and came back BUT NOOOO they are always SO MISERABLE. Honestly there are many places where you can get good food and been treated well. Owners should hire new Staff. Don't go there, is not worth to ruin your day buying your meal.

The staff is super nice but unfortunately after 2 hot table experiences I will not be returning. My wife and I got a veal parm sandwhich, ravioli and a rice ball at 4pm. Unfortunately everything was cold and/or soggy. I called the next day and explained what happened to the manager and she was amazing, and offered to refund me or give me a new meal. I went back the next day and got the same food all over again. While the ravioli Thai time was slightly warmer, the veal parm was was again borderline cold. I also ate the sandwhich right away in my car so it’s not like it got cold on the way home. I will say, for being cold it was decent, but good at a hot table is supposed to be hot. I just wish it was hot and fresh because I feel like it would be amazing.

My 76 year old mother bought a 6.50 piece of lasagna today. She brought it back as it didn't taste right. The sons owner yelled at her in front of all the customers stating, "there's nothing wrong with the lasagna we make 100s of them". He refused to give her money back and store credit only all while yelling at her inappropriately. We are in the middle of covid and he wasn't wearing a mask. This is very unprofessional and shouldn't be tolerated by anyone.
