I came here on a Thursday evening just to use the shower facilities. We originally went to the Husky travel center in Saint Catherine's because it was closest, but they wouldn't allow showers for anyone other than truck drivers. We have used Flying J in the past and loved the experience, so we decided to drive an extra 20 minutes to this location and we were so glad we did. The people were friendly, the wait was short, and the showers were spacious and so clean! We will choose Flying J over Husky 10 times out of 10.

After packing up our apartment and two days down the road on our cross country move, we were searching desperately for a rest stop with showers open to the public. We finally found a review (of a different truck stop) mentioning the Flying J in Port Erie which was near our detour to Niagara Falls. Best shower of my life. Facilities were impeccably clean, the staff friendly, and ample parking.

Avoid this place like the plague. Rude staff. Posted signs taped to the mirrors in the men's washroom " No face washing, no teeth brushing permitted, hands wash only" . Take my money for some of the most expensive fuel on the highway and not offer me the decency to be allowed to wash my face and brush my teeth before going to bed. Where am I supposed to do this basic necessities when I'm driving a truck? Shame on you Flyng J.

Stopped by on June 8th, 2019 -- there is no longer a Denny's Restaurant here. But they do have a restaurant which mostly serves Indian food. I ordered a potato samosa with some eggs and coffee, and spicy Indian sauce., It was good! The female host/server was very polite and wore traditional Indian clothes ;)

I just wanted to share with all of you this remarkable experience in this travel Center , today 10/23/20 I was waiting for a shower . The cleaning person was out for lunch and guess what the manager saw me standing around waiting for a shower and this great manager decided to go himself and get it clean it for me . I would normally give 5 stars to this place but during COVID is different. Too many bodies allowed in at once and too many coughing customers, many masks not pulled over noses and no enforcement. Tell customers to pull them up or leave. It's not like they have other options close by. I walked out today without a purchase. I'm not sure if staff have heard but there's an ongoing pandemic and it's going off the charts. I'll take my business somewhere safer. My parents lives may depend on my responsible choices.

What a three ring circus is going on in the store. Incompetent people manning the registers. after standing around for a few minutes with items in my hand I literally put them back and left. No wonder the parking lot is empty.

What a fabulous travel center. Always spotless, always wonderful, always well stocked. It's like a home away from home. The food at the restaurant is fabulous. Do you like trash bins over filled with garbage placed beside it? Washer fluid buckets completely empty and squeegees broken? Pumps down for several hours because of a REPETITIVE KNOWN issue? Well then this truck stop is for you! They cater to you more by not fixing their pavement leaving you to spill the coffee that's actually ok. And good luck finding parking, they have Drivers leave their cars parked in spots just for you! But you can park in reserved because they don't check at night, given they only have one person working -_-....... showers are clean=)

Used to stop overnight here a lot, for one reason...Denny's. I try to eat one decent meal a day, which is tough for truck drivers. Now that Dennys is closed there's no need to stop here anymore. Fortunely the Husky in Niagara on the lake has a decent restaurant. Taking my business there from now on. Pilot and Flying J nation wide, have forgotten why they started business...to service truckers...now it's just what makes their investors another penny a share...how the hell do you mismanage a truck stop restaurant so it goes out of business? Charge too much for rent? Greedy entitled self absorbed idiots....Feel sorry for the poor sap who tries to start another restaurant in there.

Should be zero stars. I don't mind gassing up here as long as I don't have to deal with any of the employees. This morning, after two tries with my credit card, I was instructed to go inside. The person behind the counter informed me that the card readers at the pump were not working. Apparently the workers there are not bright enough to think that a sign, informing people of that, would be a good idea. Oh well, she could not help me with a fill up, so I drove across the street to the Esso. All went well there and now I have a new station to go to...no more dealing with the idiots at the Flying J.
