Best damn I’ve been to in Toronto. Their donuts are the best! Around 2.50 for each and cheaper in half a dozen and more. Not pictured are their delicious sandwiches and even their coffee though cheap in price is not cheap in food. I want to come here every weekend! Only downside was their Red Velvet cupcake but they have so much choice you can find something that suits you!

Absolutely fantastic! The service here was wonderful, everyone was friendly and helpful. All of the food was incredibly fresh and delicious. We got a few different sandwiches, the meatballs and some baked goodies. The meatballs were incredible, so juicy and flavourful. The bread the sandwiches were on was so fresh and all tasted amazing, they are also huge and great value for the price can easily be shared or saved for multiple meals. The baked goods are so good, I wanted to try everything but I went for the Cartucci and would definitely recommend for anyone who likes something less sweet.

If you know, you know...one of the best and long time standing shops in Toronto. They've done their best through covid measures and the community. Spot for meat, cheese, pastries, bread, fresh sandwiches, donuts, cakes and more. Coffee is quite yummy but expect line up during peak google times. Totally worth it!

The buns are great. Nice and soft on the inside and crunchy outside. The sweets are pretty sweet.. too sweet for me though.. the tiramisu didn't have enough coffee IMO though. too bad the bagels and donuts were sold out. Lots of selection of foods from coffee, deli, pizza, various sandwiches and sweets.

My go to bakery on weekends. Always carry a good selection of breads, danish, pastries, deli’s, etc. All the staff are very professional, friendly and fast. Price of their products are reasonable.

I was just confronted by 2 employees regarding the condition of my mask. I explained I have a medical condition and they said they understood but still explained that I need to wear it fully. I told them what my medical condition was and they still told me to comply so I left. I've been going there for 15 years and they just lost a customer. I've been confronted before regarding my mask and medical condition but this time the staff didn't care. I'm not coming back. That was the last straw.

Sanremo is one of my favorite bakeries in Toronto. They’ve got plenty of baked products and even some other Italian delicatessen items too. My top picks are their sandwiches and doughnuts. I’ve also tried many of their puff pastry products in different flavors and forms, they’re so worth it. Their bundt cakes are good for sharing and they’re perfect for any gatherings, people love it. However, their cakes and cupcakes are not my favorite. They’re a bit more into the basic-flavored side but it depends on people’s taste preferences. I would rather spend a bit more for a better quality of cakes/cupcakes/pastries with flavorful icings, cake types and fillings. I totally recommend this place for their classic breads, sandwiches and their to-go meals!

Real authentic Italian bakery! This place has everything - desserts, baked goods (croissants, bagels and bread), a hot food counter, coffee and gelato. Everything is pretty reasonably priced. The desserts are just the right amount of sweet so that you can actually taste everything. Loved their tiramisu. ❤️❤️ Will definitely go again!!

I've always had a good experience with the service and food. It's a bit confusing with the lines (different sections) but if you ask a staff member, they will help you out. If you want drinks, get them at the end when you pay. If you're just getting cakes/donuts, you can pay them directly. Geat selection at a fair price.

One of the best bakeries I have ever been too. I felt like a kid in a candy store with so many baked goodies and food options. I didn't know what to get so I got a few things to try and everything I got tasted fresh and delicious. I particularly liked the hazelnut pudding cake, my sister loved the Nutella donut and my daughter enjoyed the fresh bread. I went on a weekday around 9am and it wasn't busy. I got parking on the street. There were a lot of staff to order from and it is well organized with signage and a flow of traffic. I will definitely be going back here.

My boyfriend surprised me with Sanremo for my birthday a while back. Got us some donuts and lobster tails pastries. The lobster tails was flaky and sweet. I would recommend the rockslide brownie too! It was the perfect balance between the nuts and fudge, overall satisfied all my chocolate cravings for sure!

Delicious bakery with friendly helpful staff. The lines can get long but are well worth the wait. You know it must be good when that many people are lined up on a daily basis. Use Ritual to order ahead and pickup at their outside window.

Amazing food! Definitely a must visit whenever I am in town. If you ever have a birthday or just someone you need to wow, definitely go here. Staff are super quick and very friendly. My only complaint is the confusing line setup, but that is only really an issue when it is very busy.

It was the first time for me to be there. They were amazing, we tested sandwich and croissant with cream and strawberry and croissant with pistachio paste I couldn’t explain about taste,I just can say it was wonderful you have to try it . Highly recommend

A good variety of items, the panini is great, ice cream and their donuts aren’t bad. I feel it’s a little over rated but overall, it’s a descent place with a great variety. Parking and the wait lines can be a bit of a challenge.

Excellent donuts. Your expectations might be swayed by regular line ups but you need to lower your expectations a little bit. Their food is excellent but not mind-blowing.

I ordered a Black Forest cake online to be picked up in advance and the process was super easy. The cake was ready for the time I had requested and the pick up was smooth. The cake was absolutely delicious and probably one of the best Black Forest cake I have ever had!! The cake wasn’t too sweet and it was super moist. I will definitely be back just for this!

Can’t believe I’ve never left Sanremo a review. Anyone who lives in Toronto knows Sanremo is an excellent family-run bakery with unmatched customer service. Majority of the time when I’m there I will see one of the brothers and despite how insanely busy it is, they’re always looking out for their customers, as is the staff. Everyone who works there knows the business well and provides great service. Donuts are great with Apple Fritter and Boston Cream or one of their filled specials (Caramel brownie) being my fav. Apple fritter was getting a little inconsistent at times prior to Covid with the cinnamon (To me apple fritters should be cinnamon and apples swirled) but since then its always been good and obviously sometimes it’s just the way the dough falls. I’m also a huge fan of their chocolate fudge brownie (regular/seasonal), ginger molasses cookies (seasonal), carrot muffins, and buns. I don’t drink coffee but it’s my moms favourite coffee spot and many friends. I love their Mochas and Cafe Crema. It’s probably a good thing I don’t live closer as I would probably get a Mocha daily.
