A lovely dessert shop. Everything is delicious (the nutella cupcakes and the chocolate cake are two of my favourite items). Staff are always friendly, and best of all, they believe in supporting their community - they've done multiple generous food and other charity drives (e.g., a cupcake for each canned good donated). We’ve been picking up tasty treats from Bake Sale for several years now, pretty much since they opened. I always assumed, as a start up, they’d give themselves time to get established and then look at making things just right. But after all these years, that’s still not happened. Take the box, for example. They still don’t have box inserts to keep the pretty little cupcakes from rolling around. And they still use a sticker for branding. Just a couple of things that keeps this small chain from firing on all cylinders. Disappointing after all these years. Take a trip to NY city and see how this is done.

I was in charge of organizing a virtual social event for my company and we came across Bake Sale's space themed cookie decorating kits. Bake Sale was amazing in organizing + shipping out 80+ cookie decorating kits to our staff. The kits were super cute and our staff had a blast decorating the cookies and hanging out on Zoom! Besides the kits being cute, the cookies and other ingredients also tasted amazing!! Thank you Bake Sale for helping us create a fun virtual event!

EDIT: Tuesday, September 15, 2020. I did in fact buy a pumpkin pie around Thanksgiving 2019 - see attached photo for proof. I was told the pie was cooked but the crust was raw. I wish the customer service in handling complaints was better than what I have experienced so far, which has been disappointing. ORIGINAL POST: I bought a pie from here awhile back and the girl said it’s ready made and only requires a quick warm up. The dough was uncooked and the experience of that was like eating raw dough with warm filling. I went in with my unsatisfactory experience and the girl seemed indifferent and unapologetic about the experience.

If you want your time wasted and your order not fulfilled, then this is the place to come to. I placed my order online and I also paid for it. But when I arrived it wasn't prepared and they asked me to return. We have busy lives and responsibilities and as a result we won't be returning here and consider other customers do the same.

Went above and beyond when I was delayed flying back to town needing to get my daughter’s birthday cupcake order to her school in time for her to celebrate with her classmates! I was stuck! I wish I can give Bake sale o stars if possible but google review won’t allow us that option. Bad customer service, their website won’t allow me to order online and when I tried to phone yesterday and today they are not answering the phones: I called 3 times and then they turned the phone off so you immediately get the voicemail. If you want to order or buy from here then I suggest you you think twice, they’re always out of stock, website doesn’t function properly and they never ever answer the phones!

I don't have time to waste while you make us wait in line outside to accommodate 2 people at one time. The pandemic is overblown and businesses that overreact will suffer.

At least have the decency to decline my order on UberEats if you guys don't have the right items for it and or double check my order if it's correct before sending it out. While bake sale looks cute and always has seasonal decorations on their baked goods the flavours and quality are lacking. The cupcakes taste mainly like sugar and the macarons aren't worth it- all flavours taste similar, they are dry, flakey and not a very good recipe.

I started going to Bake Sale at Six Points for mini cupcakes and then realized they had cakes and other desserts. I like the fact they have extra small cakes because we are a small family of 5 so the size is ideal. On June 15th, I ordered my son's Confirmation cake. Our colours were teale blue and lime green. Bake Sale designed a very contemporary and fun cake that fit our vision and theme. Besides the product, we keep going back because the staff are friendly and easy to work with. Great job!!!!

We visit the Bloor West location all the time for baked treats. Everything we have tried from cupcakes, to cookies to bars have always been delicious. One of our favourites is the chocolate mint cupcake. The cupcakes in particular are excellent and we have ordered cakes for parties.

Great little place that offers great treats. Their cakes are really good too and I find the small size perfect for my little family. We recently ordered our baby shower cake there and it was exactly as expected. I just added some paper decorations on top and voila! Perfect!

Went in the weekend before Christmas for some sugar cookies. Was told that they were sold out. Asked if any more could be made before Christmas and was told that "we are not taking any more orders". That's it. Very rude...I walked out. Apparently a bakery isn't making any more cookies before Christmas. Tried to support a small business but I will never be back.

I was passing by Kipling Station and this is really close so I thought I might as well check it out. It's in this giant strip plaza near the Bulk Barn it can be missed easily so make sure you keep your eyes out. The aesthetic of the bakeries really nice - a lot of bright colors. because of that it has this really inviting feel. The employees were also amazing very kind and patient and had a lot of suggestions and really worked out what you wanted the bakery. And that's important because there was a huge selection of items ranging from cookies to squares to macaroons and cakes. In the end I ended up going to my go-to which is an almond croissant and they convinced me to try their peanut butter melt cookies. I have to say that their cookie was rather amazing -a strong flavor of peanut butter with just a gentle touch of sweetness. However I was rather disappointed by there croissant. While the pastry itself was rather nice, the almond paste filling in the middle had a very odd flavor of cinnamon and fennel which was entirely unexpected and made it very saccharinely sweet. While I would go again for the cookies and perhaps try their macaroons, I would certainly never try their almond croissant again.

Bake Sale is the first place I think of when I am in need of a cake for a special event or cupcakes for a tastey treat. All their products are made with real butter and you can taste the difference. I have never had a better chocolate icing, yummy.

I always bought their cookies and the half a dozen was $7.10, but now they raised the cost to $11 and bake them much smaller in size. I understand some businesses have struggled and closed during the pandemic but this business in particular had been open the whole time. Very expensive and quality has declined. Wanted to pick up a gingerbread house kit about a week ago - the small ones were really cute but wrapped in a ton of plastic (we're talking lots & lots of thick clear plastic wrap with bow etc) I asked if I could get it done any other way, wanted to pick it up a few days later, they absolutely would not change the packaging...there were some boxes that would have fit nicely but it meant taking the house off of the cake tray "not as easy as it sounds" I was told So I would have liked to have their gingerbread house to give as a gift but it didn't happen this time! I'm sure it would have been good because their macaroons are always very nice

Incredible cupcakes! Moist, excellent flavour! However the icing is a bit too thick for me even with my sweet tooth! Called the store to place an order for mini cupcakes based on information on their website, only to learn that the website pricing was out of date. After hanging up from the call and going back onto their website, I discovered an amazing time limited promotion for the store's 15 year anniversary (12 large cupcakes for $20). Went ahead and placed the order but wondered why the staff I spoke to on the phone would not have mentioned the promotion ????‍♀️ Nonetheless, Bake Sale will be my new go to spot for cupcakes!

The Bake Sale - This is our local go too bake shop for any occasion that we have in the family, or if we just feel like an amazing delicious treat. We just love the cup cakes, haven't had one we didn't like, but the Nutella are amazing, but then so are the lemon, Chocholate, Mint and the list goes on. Oh my and the squares are just so good, every single one of them, especially the brownies. Oh gosh and the cookies, my favorite are the empire cookies. Oh yes and the cakes, love them all but my husband loves loves loves the chocholate one! Oh yes and the gingerbread men are also so tasty. We order bake sale for almost every occasion, but were disappointed this time..We ordered the Red Velvet cake the other day and it was very dry. The cake part crumbled on our plates. It was almost like it was made the day before. The cakes are usually very good, but I'm not sure what happened this time around.

The cupcakes are always delicious and fresh. You've got a choice of large cupcakes or minis. I'm a fan of thick, sugary icing, and that's what they have (not the whipped cream type of icing). They also have other items, such as cakes and cookies. All delicious! Highly recommend this place. Price range is pretty typical of cupcake boutiques.

Hands down one of my favorite places to order cake. However, I ordered a cookie decorating box for my son's birthday and the picture of the box on the website does not accurately portray how big the cookies are. The cookies were very small and I was quite disappointed.

Purchased red velvet cake. I've read previous reviews and it seems like it's a hit or miss but my cake was dry and not baked on the same day. The icing is very sweet - this may be to your liking but I prefer less sweeter cakes. I could taste the cheese in the icing which was good. Less sweeter and freshly baked would have made this a 5 star. Fyi: I picked up this cake without an order so it was a pre-baked cake in the fridge. From the other reviews, a custom ordered cake may be more fresh. Edit: Owner reached out in courteousy. Changed from 3 to 4 star, due to their positive manner. Will try their cupcakes, hoping for a better experience.
