We have 2 grocery stores in Elliot Lake. Foodland is for the better quality items you may want. They have an organic, gluten free section and prepared food area too. The bakery has really good cakes, cookies and pastries that they make on site.

Lots of variety with fresh Deli, Bakery and Meat Sections too - which I personally love. If you need something a specific way there has never been an issue at any of these areas. In fact all the Staff are welcoming and extremely helpful. The prices may be a little higher than No Frills but the selection and helpfulness of the staff make the difference in prices well worth it.

This store is great. I love that they have a bakery and deli within the store! I wish this location was bigger and had a better selection for medicinal products like decongestants and such. The staff at this location is great. They are very helpful and friendly. I also like the fact that they sell fleece pullovers and specialty household items!

Just used to work for Thrifty Foods in BC on the island and we are big on coustmer servive. 3 ft radius you had to smile and say goodmorning or what ever time of the day it is. Store is very clean a 10 . Just need happier pepole. Thanks Cathy Oprisan

Just had the chance to try their sushi, and it's the worst sushi I've ever had in my life. The rice was incredibly dry, so it fell apart in chunks. The salmon had dark spots underneath, any discoloration is unsafe to eat. They need to put more care into their food prep. Also they no longer carry any of my blonde roast coffee I used to get, so I can never get coffee there, I have to order it all online or go out of town.

Fresh bread daily, Made to order cakes for any occasion. Take away a star because pretty much everything is a little more expensive than the other food store in town
