Love, love, love this bakery! The jelly donuts are incredible. My family has been coming to the Bakery since it opened and it is a family tradition to pickup donuts on the way to Tiny. I would recommend that everyone give the treats a try. There is no bakery like it! I love this place so much that I even had the "I brake for donuts at Elmvale Bakery" bumper sticker on my first car (1991 Pontiac Sunfire) for years!

I’ve been living in the area for a few years and have always meant to stop in. After another family member popped in and got me hooked on their buttermilk bread, I figured it was time to make a visit. Everything I’ve tried so far is delicious- the buttermilk bread, rye, cheese & onion, meat pies & pastries. Not to mention, they are doing a phenomenal job abiding by and adapting to covid regulations. Keep up the tasty work. I’ll be in for years to come!

The donuts at the Elmvale Bakery are to die for! Their raspberry jelly filled glazed donuts are our favourite. Whenever we come home for a visit during summer or the holidays, we always make a point to drive out to Elmvale to pick up a box or two of these donuts. Their freshness and quality are amazing! We haven’t been able to find a better donut anywhere else in our travels!

We've been going to Elmvale Bakery for years and years. The staff has always been nothing but wonderful and the baked goods are worth the trip. Their cheese buns are a summer staple for our family as well as their sweet and wonderfully sticky Chelsea buns. The potato chive bread toasted with a little butter is like a little warm slice of heaven on earth, but if you want the inside scoop on the most truly special, super yummy and almost addictive item, look for the Scottish butteries. They sell out fast sometimes so you want to get in early but you definitely won't be disappointed. They're to die for!

A wonderful gem ... A small town bakery that adds a Bavarian touch to their delicious products. The deep fried croissants are a personal favourite, along with their buttermilk bread! (The pretzel baguette is another favourite.) Strudel, cakes, cookies, loafs .... We have never been disappointed, except on weekends when you may find some items sold out, if you sleep in!

First let me say that we have bought from the bakery on many occasions...everything has been very good. Last week we purchased a dozen jelly donuts that were very good and so fresh.. Yesterday we purchased another dozen donuts..a combination of jelly and chocolate. Sorry to say I was not so impressed this time. Both types were not fresh at all. Would have thought they had been made the day before.. Will be doing a taste check before we drive away next time.

Great little place. Enjoyed the Apple Fritters and the Apple cake. My sister loves the chop suey bread and so will you if especially if you like fruitcake. Same ingredients but in a nice light loaf bread. Looking forward to trying the fruit custard pies they come in a few diffrent flavours. Peach will be my first choice!

First time being in this bakery. 1030 am...bakery hardly had any stock left...unorganized and the longer I spent in line the more I had an opportunity to look around to see how dirty the store actually is. The dust is aweful, and dirt. The donuts I purchased were very expensive: hair in one of them and what was supposed to be a lemon filled donut wasn't even filled with anything.. just dough. I will not be going back to this bakery.

I've been coming here for at least the past 25 years. It is a cozy family run business and the treats are always superb! I don't ask how much things cost, just get what we like.. and feel good that we are helping to keep a small business operating all these years. Highly recommend the Scottish Butteries, Cheese onion load and there potato chive bread. But everything here is excellent!

Stopped in when I was riding the Simcoe County Loop Trail and got a pastry to enjoy and asked them to cut it in 3 so that I could share it with the group. It was a delicious blueberry strudel that wasn't overly sweet and was incredible flaky. Definitely a must stop on this ride.
