A great place to work. I worked at Sunrise Bakery for seven years and six months....2006. It was definitely a good experience to learn what it takes to make pastries and Dairy Queen cake centres. The best part about my experience there was the whole management team. They made you feel like you're family by they way they interacted with the employees, rewards and bonus that you can't get in big corporations. Just an overall great place.

I used to work here. Very hands on and you work at once station for 3 straight hours and then you are given a 20 min break. Sunrise makes you work 10 hours of work, and then only gives you a 40 min break for those hours of work. (Which is illegal!) 2 20 min breaks The Alberta government says every 5 hours of work, you are entitled a 30 min break but they don’t even give that. (Every 5 hours of scheduled work) not 5 hours working or 10, When HR doesn’t even know the Alberta regulations, it just a big warning the company aint worth your time. I feel so bad for those workers who continue to work here, I’ll take my minimum wage job with good breaks and management than ever work at a company like this again.
