Amazing selection of chocolates. Offered sugar free chocolate gelato and it was perfect for a hot day. The owner is super friendly and knowledgable, he helped me find chocolate to satisfy my sweet tooth while staying in line with my keto diet. A must do if you are visiting or buying for your friends when you go travelling to other countries. The chocolates are around $1.75 each just so you know :D

Beautiful chocolates. Seriously, once you're in the shop, just look at the display case. These are little pieces of art, hand craft and so pleasing to look at. I bought a box for a friend on the arrival of their baby, and another for a mentor, as gifts. The shop owner was lovely and packaged the purchases beautifully for gifting.

Although their gelato selection is small, their mango sorbetto had a vibrant colour, was refreshing and full of flavour! They had a nice selection of gourmet chocolates that will make you drool just looking at them. In hindsight this is a wonderful little store for treats and I highly recommend you give them a try!

We went for ice cream. I was utterly astounded at the excellent quality. I have never had better ice cream. I happen to like the flavours we each chose (caramel, sour cherry, and pistachio), but I have never had ice cream that tasted so clearly of real fresh roasted pistachio nuts, real caramel, and real cherries (plus bits of sweet, crunchy, and sour). Top notch, friendly service. I'm going back for chocolates.

Gem Chocolates has been open for a little over a year now, and this place just keeps getting better. The chocolates are absolutely delicious (my personal favorite is the "Berry Blue", the blueberry ganache used in them are heavenly), and the service is terrific. Forget Purdy's and Thomas Haas, for tasty hand-made chocolates go to Gem Chocolates.

I googled for best chocolates in Vancouver and gem chocolates was one of the one coming up in a lot of lists so I decided to give it a go and bring back chocolates as a gift. I ended up not only buing gift but a big box for ourselves. We tasted a few so far and all amazing. Chocolates are also pretty. The owner was also nice.

An Artisan chocolate powerhouse! The hand-crafted creations come with a five-star presentation and an array of delicious flavors and enticing aromas. All with carefully handpicked ingredients. I also noticed that not only the old-timer staff, Eva is consistently quality driven, but also the new staff, both Saoirse and Doris, seem to be well trained and capable of producing wonders.
