They have a great selection of different types of bread, and I think that the prices are fair for the quality they are providing. Only 4'* because the location isn't convenient for most in Guelph and most importantly, the store isn't really setup to allow you to browse and contemplate before making your purchase. With an inventory of bread products that changes often, it would be nice to be able browse and think a little before making your choices... So we always feel rushed here. But the bread is terrific

I had won a gift certificate in an auction and went in to spend it. It was for a Bread Basket which is a collection of breads. We decided on a pick up day as they were making it for me the morning of pick up. It was fantastic! Different things I may not have tried as I always go to my regular scones. The staff was engaging, excited for my win and for the breads they made for me. I have been to different Cobs Bread locations. Always 5 stars!

I have been to many COBS Bread Bakery locations in other provinces but this on is by far the best. The customer service is unmatched! Every time I go in here they are always smiling and ready to help. Oh and the best part is that they sometimes throw an extra treat in with your order. They certainly know how to keep customers coming back! Keep up the amazing ownership and customer service at this location. You will not be disappointed with this bakery!

I absolutely love cobs bread. They have some of the best bread in GP. Some products are seasonal and some are year round. Some of my favorites are passion fruit scone, Mediterranean croissant, olive bread and sun-dried tomato bread. Keep up the good work guys!

BEST COBS AROUND! My son and I went in for one of their twisted loaves, they were still in the oven so we grabbed a scone and waited, the staff there are beyond amazing, they were very welcoming and friendly. Delicious buns and danishes. Customer service is usually very good. Only thing I would say is that more care needs to be taken to finish with one customer before focusing your entire attention on another customer just because they placed a large order. I'm somewhat of a regular (and here to stay) but you might tick off that one customer who may tell several other people.

Love the raspberry white chocolate scones! Only thing I would say is sometimes you get ones that have lots of raspberry and some with none. So maybe make sure the bakers are consistent? But there so good and should try if you haven’t before! :)

This lovely place with the hardest working people you will ever meet is having a hard go of it simply because it is close to Costco. I'll tell you a secret and let me put it in the form of a story. That way it's a heck of a lot more fun! It's about a queen and her king or it could be the other way around. Doesn't matter and color, race, human or not simply does not enter into this. Anyways, this ruling tower couldn't understand why paying for hard work from the local economy was better than paying for goods bought on the world wide web. Why do that when you can just access the Internet or access Costco and all it's distributors. One day, connections were lost and the world of this ruling tower actually went green. The air was green from smoke, people were ill, the water tasted disgusting and, to boot, wherever people went, their connections stayed with the very first place they stopped at when they entered into that electrical field which actually worked. That is if they had to scoot back out. Wow, what a day that was! So the tower decided never to have such a problem again and in order to achieve this they tried to gain more safety but they actually created less safety. Little did the tower know that sometimes, the higher you try to go, the lower you are actually going. The solution was actually quite simple. The people turned off all electronics completely. They rested, smelled the air inside their place of residence (wherever that was), baked or bought some bread with locally-produced goods and, tried making something different with their own, very own creativity and hands. They also remembered one of my favorite passages close to my heart. "It's not whether you win or lose, "It's whether you try your best". And so, quite surprisingly, and with incredible wonder and awe, the people realized they could control their lives, work at what they loved doing and, stopped worrying about the constant buzz and chatter. They truly realized that what matters is one step in front of the other, one day at a time, pull up those socks and you'll get there because they knew they could. The future is where you need to go, walk forwards not backwards unless the wind is so strong that you temporarily need to walk against the wind, and in the end, you know you will have given it everything you've got to give. So their little economy started to thrive again because people understood some very basic lessons and they worked hand-in-hand to come to a greater understanding. Thank God I'm not pushing daisies today!

Sep 16 2021 ordered 5 breads and a few hrs later went to pick them up , the bag was ready . It would have taken 10 seconds to give me the bag tap-pay but NO . I was the only customer in the store. Since I don't wear a mask , the employees (protected by plastic shields and mask) asked me to to go out wait , and come back to pay so that 10 seconds reduce it to half , (5 seconds) . When I tried to reason with them, the quick response was "please leave" . They were trained by Jeff the owner who a couple of month ago assured me that I won't be harassed again because not wearing a mask , (cuz it happened before) , but I was ..... My wife and I tried to call the owner quite a few time the last few days but he never picks up the (cell) phone , does not return our calls .... For ten year we were their best customers .... We will never set foot there again.... Our BC government give businesses licenses to operate to people assuming that we respect the laws and the Charter Of Rights of our customers . But these people are just artificial .....

I used to get Cobbs bread on a weekly basis when I lived in Calgary. I would probably never go back to the Grande Prairie location. Their service really suffered. The cashier was not friendly at all. Went in wanting sweet treats and left with this box of pumpkin tarts (celebrating early fall) and a box of scones. The size of everything in here really surprised me, the scones are gigantic! We got a variety and tried six flavours, but the raspberry and strawberry were out favourites. Don’t recommend the chocolate chip scone though, it’s a bit dry.

It’s 1:30 on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. The displays are full of fresh pastries & the greeting rec’d was wonderful!! The ladies that are working right now were extremely friendly, still in the parking lot as I write the review! I left with a great feeling. Definitely the go to bakery everytime we visit Fort St. John. No doubt that there are other bakery business here that I really want to visit but for the most part I always like visiting them. The rye bread is amazing! The Cinnamon Loaf are great(toast it with egg and butter mix) Croissants are deadly ( I meant to die for. Lol) And my favorite of all is the Cinnamon Buns (nothing in this world taste a real Cinnamon Buns than how Cobs Bread make them, Absolutely Amazing!) Cobs is a national chain of bakeries and they have an excellent selection of breads, rolls and pastries. The staff was friendly and helpful. I note one review that complained about a lack of product, but when we went, they had lots of everything on the shelves. I will certainly go back to try other products.

This is my favorite Cobs location. I love the staff, I love the bread and I love the service. I can't think of anything bad to say about this location. The staff are very friendly and the food is delicious. It is best to go during the week though if you want to avoid a line. The weekends can get a little busy, but they seem to handle it well.

Cob's Bread ???? has a good selection of breads. Their variety of Teatimes are good, love the raspberry and chocolate, tart with sweet. Delicious hot cross buns, different kinds. So delicious! I've tried a couple of different loaves of bread and bakery sweets here and everything has been delicious. Prices aren't too bad either. My wife will sometimes surprise me with something she has picked up here. It's always a nice treat!

Although the only feedback i want to give is low on stock sometimes as in evening time I visit and they are out of the items I want ! Also fast service and friendly staff! Love their apricot loaf, challah for breakfast, scones, and oh if they can bring in the chocolate raspberry croissant just like other locations that have it but this location is missing this awesome flavor!

AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I came in today with my boyfriend and we asked about the focicca bread? ???? and the woman behind the counter was so helpful and kind! We then purchased the cheese and chive scone as per her recommendation. Left the store tried it and it was AMAZING so we turned around and went back to purchase more, we told her how much we loved it and if we could buy some more. She said of course and said it was on the house ???? I wish I got her name because she was so great to us! She had, I believe purply-red hair and was wearing a cobs hat. SHE NEEDS A RAISE! Highly recommend this location as our customer experience was fantastic thank you lovely lady ????

@Becca Janelle, Uhhh you do realize they JUST opened don't you? Popular places with a good reputation will have people lined up at the doors for quite a some time. They have been selling out rapidly. I was in there yesterday and they had 4 Ham & Cheese croissants & 2 Feta & spinach but they were almost all gone by the time I got my spot in line. In time they will settle down like Bedford did, this is a good thing for this location because its doing well and getting lots of locals to come in and check it out. I love the danishes, the croissants and the scones here. They will even do orders on some less common breads like Hallah bread if you order at least 3.

Management is extremely poor. Nothing but bad experiences. Dry and tough snacks here. The bread is alright, too expensive. Staff is friendly enough, always trying to sell you more, and I HATE that. (I know it's probably their job) It's a bakery, I already know what I want when I walk in. It seems like a very transactional and fake experience each and every time. I've given up hope for this place.

Everything you see is fresh baked and amazingly delicious! Bought raspberry scones as well as their blueberry. I could eat a dozen of these but that might be overdoing things. Please please try some of their fresh baked Artisan Breads. Choose two loaves made with Sourdough and they're so yummy AND good for you. Lots of whole grains and seeds for healthy eating.

The nice thing about a franchise bakery is the consistency. With that said, you cannot get unusual breads, such as heavy ryes, without putting on a special order already of time. Lots of parking and open early. The presence of numerous security guards outside discussing a perpetrator in the area made me a bit nervous though...

Deplorable customer service. They have an employee there Ms Z. she treated my wife and I with absolute disrespect. My wife is caucasian and when I (who is not) requested that she rectify an error that she made through no fault of our own (remember this is just bread). She lowered herself and actions to that which was almost similar to the incident that occurred at the Starbucks in the U.S. I of course complained and Cobs apologized for her ridiculous behaviour at the corporate level and advised they would address the issue with more training, nevertheless the damage has been done. This shouldn't occur in 2018. We are in our 50's, what is going on with some of the youth in this country?

The employees are nice and friendly buns and pastries are good. The issue here is lack on management of the inventory. Almost everyday there is a shortage of white buns and dinner rolls. Management is either incompetent or just lacking business sense. How can you run out of something that probably accounts for 30% of the overall sales? No other Cobs lacks more inventory like this one.

First time ever at COBS Bread Bakery and I loved it. The staff was super friendly, helpful and professional. They helped me decide and pick from their many options... and was a great decision. One on the many items I bought was a cinnamon bun.... let me tell you that is the best cinnamon bun that I have ever had. I just want to go back for more. Fully recommended, fresh and delicious. Note: They are strict on keeping the COVID regulations, very clean and only 3 customers inside the store at a time.

A little under a month ago, I had the absolute privilege of visiting this cobs location. It was a nippy fall day and snow blowed in the air as I pulled into the nicely kept parking lot. A free space directly in front of the door called my name and comfortable parked within a reasonably sized space. Goosebumps scattered across my skin as I walked swiftly to the door, which was freshly sanitized surrounded by the clearest glass windows I've ever spotted. My goosebumps quickly retracted as soon as my feet met the beautiful bakery floor. It was the most comfortable temperature I could have asked for. Within seconds, my nostrils filled with wonderful scents of sour dough loaves and delicious baked goods. I closed my eyes and enjoyed the sensation. Opening my eyes I looked around the storefront in awe. From the smiles of the employees to the icing on the blueberry scones- everything was shining. You could see the bakery behind the counter and watch happy workers baking delightful sweets and breads. Each employee moved with precision and grace. I was greeted by the sweetest cashier, Raquel. She spoke kindly and offered suggestions concerning the product. She was well equipped, full of knowledge about their goods. I got a divine scone and a warm loaf of sourdough. At the end of my visit I left joyful and giddy. It improved every aspect of my day. 10/10 atmosphere, service, cleanliness, taste, and 11/10 aroma. This cobs is a blessing to the city of Guelph.

Prices: is $$ however to be clear the quality and quantity are plausible. Since I noticed their store, I see the lone up always long. That means their products are popular. I tried to apply and they told me to come for an interview when i went to the store for the interview they told me to come tomorrow and when i did my interview the next day they said call me for training. So when i went for training they said the baker is calling sick and they told me to come tomorrow. Then i went tomorrow for training for 2 hours they didn’t pay me for training and they said if someone quits they will hire me. This management isn’t organized. I had a very bad experience with this company

Oh, YUM! My first visit to Cobs (Harris Green location) came about three months ago because a dietician had recommended their Country Grain bread. After the first slice, I was hooked. My goal is to try all their baked goods, sweet and savory, at least once. So far, apart from the Country Grain bread (with extra seeds) my favourites are: Raspberry Custard Danish, Pull-apart Cheese, Herb and Garlic bread (get it while it’s warm), Cranberry and Orange Hot Cross Buns, and Raspberry and White Chocolate Scones (perfect texture for the scones). What else? Friendly and helpful staff, freshness of the product, and open 7 days a week! It's also a 30-minute walk (each way) from home so I feel I'm entitled to the treats!

The owner, Geoff, was a really nice and pleasant person to deal with. He stopped by my work one day to drop off some baked goods for the people at work but I had to turn him away as it's against our policy for us to receive gifts from the public. I did take a peek at the baked goods and they certainly looked fresh and yummy!!! I would definitely stop by this location to pick up some freshly baked goods when I get a chance.

Moist and fresh scones! I was extremely pleased with the quality. However, it feels like they overdo the flavours. The banana chocolate chip scone has way too many chocolate chips. The raspberry one had a lovely taste until the white chocolate flavour hit my mouth. The apple pie scone was lovely, but it had too many spices mixed in. The cinnamon was nice, but it needed Devon cream to deal with the added dry crunchiness of the cinnamon sugar. Unfortunately, they don't sell Devon cream. Market Fresh sells it in September. (I was told by an employee at MF.) My husband only liked the lemon blueberry one. It is one of their most popular favours. I wanted more simple flavours like just raspberry or blueberry or vanilla. They don't sell those. Cinnamon is really the only one. The Sconewitch in Ottawa sells more simple flavoured scones with Devon cream and special jams. Those additions accentuate the lovely, natural flavours of the scones. I would definitely purchase Cob's scones again if they changed some of their scones to more simple flavours. Beautifully executed otherwise!

I have picked up pizza crusts and scones, hamburger buns and jalapeno twist bread. There are many choices with samples everyday to let you find new things you want to take home. There are no Cobs locations near my home, so when in Aurora I stock up on scones and bread, as they all freeze very well. This location is under new management, and Bhavin, the new owner, goes above and beyond with regard to customer service! I wanted at least a dozen cinnamon scones, but because it was after 100 pm, there were not enough left on the shelves. Bhavin actually offered to bake as many as I wanted, right then, and, within the hour, he brought them to me personally as I was in a restaurant two doors away. Wow! I was also invited to try his dark rye bread, which was enclosed (it is wonderful). This location is clean and the service is excellent; staff is personable and professional, and the customer matters first and foremost. The baked goods are fresh and varied, and everything freezes well. Visit here when in Aurora - corner of Bayview and Wellington!

First I walked in I felt like I was walking into an old fashion bakery. Your nose is the first sense that tells you, you have found a great place. Your eyes are delighted as you see baked goods that beg you to try one. It's hard to make your first choice as you want to taste it all. You buy the item you want as the clerk answers any of your question and doesn't make you feel rushed. With a smile he hands you your order and you can feel the warmth that tells you it's been freshly baked. As you drive home you are teased by the aromatic smells. You move quickly into your home and open the package touching your new treat. There is no way to resist it as you take it to your lips and take your first bite of your new addiction.

We are all struggling with our mandated situation. Came in, masked, with a friend who is legitimately medically exempt. The lady at the back barked at her to get her mask on. Friend replied she was medically exempt, then walked about because she’s so tired of being judged and looked down on. There is a nice way to speak to your customers.
