Great bagels. My favorite in Montreal! By order of preference: R.E.A.L. Bagels: bigger, very chewy (which I like) Fairmount Bagels: smaller, slightly chewy St Viateur Bagels: similar to Fairmount but more umami/sesame taste (a bit too much to my taste). You can't go wrong with either of them.

All products are amazing. The stuff doesn't talk or smile this much I believe because of the heat they have to stand all day long " maybe" but, the woman who works over there is another case " I wouldn't call her a lady ". She is weird mix of no communication skills, no manners and low level person. She is very rude and yelling on talking. NO MANNERS at all. She deal with customers like she give the stuff for free or customers have to go over there. If she own the place she wouldn't even act like that. I don't know how someone like her with this metality deal with customers. I hope I can give less than one star because of her behaviour. The store on my way to metro station and I use to buy stuff almost everyday. From now on i will check before I get in. I don't want be served by this idiot anymore.

I got an everything bagel with cream cheese and coffee this morning. I'm not sure what was wrong with the coffee, but it tasted awful. I threw it out. The bagel itself might have been tasty but the cream cheese was sour. I might try it again, but my first experience was far from positive. Stay away from the coffee and cream cheese.

First time visiting this place did not disappoint! The staff were very friendly, which made for a great atmosphere. Since I bought 2 to eat there and 2 dozen to take home, he told us to come back in after we were done so that we could get super fresh ones that were coming out of the oven. Got one bagel with lox and cream cheese and the other one with just cream cheese. They really load it up! Nothing beats a fresh bagel!

It's not St Viateur and it's not Fairmount BUT what they offer is a variety of breakfast and lunch bagels that the others don't. This is a plus since it reminds me a little of new york bagel shops that offer a variety of toppings and variations for all dressed sandwiches to go. The lady at night is very rude, she lacks customer service assistance. We were there last night around 9 pm on August 12, 2017. I tried to open the door and it was locked, the lady can see me and she was talking to his coworker. I was knocking at the door and she ignored me for a while she eventually opened the door. People will tell that StViateur or Fairmount bagels are better, but that is just overinflated hype. Real bagel, in my humble opinion and taste, makes the best bagels. Try the pumpernickel or the all dressed and you won't be disappointed.

The pricing is horrible. The staff seems nice but I have been there twice and the baked goods are never the same price. Same item. Different prices. And they are hesitant to give you receipts. It's like as for a pound of flesh from the cashier. They seems to make up prices as they go. Nothing has marked peices, nowhere is it indicated that the item is priced You have to take a chance or ask the price for each item. And the prices keep changing. There are better shops in Montreal. Don't waste your money at this place.

A nice little bagel shop that makes fresh Montreal-style bagels. The bagel is a bit bigger/doughier than Fairmont or St. Viateur bagel, but it's a nice option for those living in the West side. As with other bagel shops, there are other baked goods, prepared foods, and packaged items to buy.

Bagels are good and it's open 24/7. Prices are really high, 5$ flat for half a dozen? My goodness.. everything else is priced highly too and most of the stuff does not have price labels so you only find out once you're at the register. For example one bottle of Steward's root beer is a bit over 3$, which puts it a whole dollar higher than if you buy it anywhere else! Seems a bit shady to me.

R.E.A.L. Bagel Inc. is a hidden bagel place in the city of Saints. I have known this location ever since I was young. The service is nice and decent. Sometimes it can be slow if there are a lot of customers. I love their bagels. I usually get their sesames bagels and bring them home. Location is great since it is close to Snowdon Metro station and one of my favorite bagels shops to visit. Prices are decent and reasonable. Only for dine-in it is small and limited or no seating. I will pass by from time to time and recommend this bagel shop to all.

The bagels are good, but if they mishear your order, they'll get mad and argue with you about it. Unfortunately the old man's hearing is going so this happens often with him. It was ok. I wasn't impressed by the level of the service at all. The lady at the counter wasn't of a help. I mentioned that its my first time in the store and asked her couple questions about the bagels and sandwiches but there was unpleasant responses. Went in to get some bagel sandwiches and i saw a lady (who i later found out was the owner) eating pickles from the pickle jar. She just kept eating without gloves on. She even used the deli slicer to slice herself a snack. She ate directly infront of clients. She kept putting her disgusting hands in everything. No gloves. No hair net. Touching her cellphone. Searching in her purse. People from outside walking behind the counter. YUCK! in the midst of Covid 19 pandemic you would think this woman had more class. A second woman was there too and also not wearing a hair net. Ladies, even your employees were embarrassed by you both.

As someone who has strong opinions about food, I was never a bagel lover until I tried one from Real Bagel on Queen Mary. I have to admit, they are my new favorite sandwich bread and the everything bagel is definitely the way to go! The staff could not be friendlier and they make you feel like family when you walk in. If you aren't a regular here, you're missing out!

used to go to real bagel on decarie and these places don’t compare at all! taste is not the same the store is not well kept and 5$ for a bagel with chive cream cheese.... im scared to ask how much one with egg would cost ... the 3 stars are for the lady who served me i believe she is philip ino decent very nice lady ... otherwise it would be zero stars.

Have been a client since day one . Always overlooked the shortcomings of the place such as average service , not to friendly staff , difficult to find parking . Items on display not priced etc. As their bagels have always been better than the other famous Montreal bagel shops. Bagels are deeped in hot water containing honey prior to baking so that sesame seeds stick to the bagel and the honey adds greatly to the crispness and flavor of the bagel. My last 3 purchases it seems honey no longer used , clearly to save money. Honey is not cheap . At the same token price of a dz bagels has risen but what you get is white bread shaped like a bagel . It no longer tastes as bagel should its tastes like any white bread with some sesame seeds on it. It's only a bagel in name ! Dull looking with no shine that the honey gives and no crispness and flavor that the honey adds to the bagel! In other words its no different than buying a cheese cake with no cheese in it.

I bought 6 overpriced bagels and two of them were hard as a rock whilst a third was quite stale as well. The other three felt only slightly stale. If I'm paying more than $5 for 6 bagels I expect them to be good... Also, everything that doesn't have a price tag is usually overpriced and the staff are usually pretty cold.
