REVIEWS OF Montreal Kosher Bakery Ltd IN Côte-Saint-Luc

Lior Velichover

Best bagels and cheese bagels in the world

Car Noises

Good if you know someone who works there, otherwise I dislike how they try to sell you their old merchandise for new. Very dishonest business, you get what you pay for.

Malcolm Wald

I came here for many years; had regularly purchased their cheese bagels, cheese blintzes, and potato knishes; sometimes their rugelach and Hamantaschen. For Rosh Hashanah, I went there for their round raisin challah. All were fresh and scrumptious. However, I felt that if I had kept on going there I'd eventually be unable to fit through the door without greasing my sides and using a spatula. :) After a few years' sabbatical from MKB (no pun intended), I recently returned for some post-Purim Apricot Hamantaschen and it still tasted great, plus Zalman still recognized me. I'll be back for some prune Hamantaschen, to be sure.

Rabbi Yisroel Bernath

Classic Kosher bakery. Main bakery has it all.

Susan Callari

Fresh kosher bakery daily! Typical kosher items like knishes, danishes, breads, pies, strudels, seasonal, like Hamantashins. Cheap prices! Closed during Friday and Saturday sabbath hours. Salem!

The most wonderful kosher bakery in Montreal! Try the egg rolls!

Leonardo G Grinberg

The cheese danish is excellent.

Brandon Vesely

I've rarely had a bad experience here. Their goods are baked fresh on-site. Their potato knishes are probably the best in the city. The cheesebagels are one of Montreal's hidden secrets! You really need to know what to order - I've had a bunch of their pastries that were dry or flavorless.

Tzivia MacLeod

We were told they had the best bagels, so we made a special trip, having driven in from Ottawa. No bagels. Poor service, small dingy shop. Nothing else looked appealing, so we left without buying anything.

Daniel Glassman

Great selection of kosher pastries and other goodies, including challah, knishes, cheese bagels, danishes and rugelach.

sydney pfeiffer

Good product.

Gregg Vertes

This is the best bakery around! I almost always make a special visit here when I’m in Montreal just to get the cheese bagels. They’re absolutely terrific. I have been eating these cheese bagels for as long as I can remember. They’ve got a lot of other kosher stuff as well that’s all quite tasty. The owner is friendly and they’re usually pretty quick. You can always expect to get something fresh and delicious.

Allan Weingarten

Oy! Everything is so good.

Mark Jacobson

If you love baked goods this is the place, breads, cheese bagelach, almond or chocolate croissant cinnamon sticky buns, I can keep going but I'm gaining weight thinking about it. Baked fresh there.

Justin Gonsalves

Jerry Golick

Good Jewish bakery. Lots of cakes, Danish, etc. No meat.

Craig Steinberg

Very mediocre bakery. The desserts are mostly awful. The breads are so so. Expect a lineup... G-d only knows why

Benjamin Romano

Famous for its freshly baked products plus others prepared fresh daily

Chaya Mish

Pasteries were delicious! They seem to bake to sell elsewhere. The baking area appeared to be quite large. The customer area is small they have a small grocery store selling milk, pretzels, nuts, etc. The gentleman who sold us the food, was friendly yet quiet.

Shmuel Shertzer

Often time when we visit Montreal, we make a point to stop by the Motreal Kosher Bakery to stock up on baked goods for our trip back home. Particularly, their bagels are second only to none . Generally speaking all the food is baked fresh (right before your eyes) and prices are very reasonable.
