Today was the first day I had the actual food from Simply Jennifer. Normally I have a sweet and let me tell you her brownies and cookies are to die for. Today I had the crispy tofu sandwich breakfast bagel and soup of the day. The first thing I noticed of all the food I've eaten is they all have unique flavors and textures. Unlike other restaurants who will slap things together you can tell that simply Jennifer takes great pride and Care in preparing their meals. As someone who is lactose intolerant it's nice to see a vegan restaurant in Cornwall. In my opinion this provides Cornwall with the unique view on both dietary restrictions and veganism. If I were to give simply Jennifer a rating out of 100 I would give them a 95. I don't give them this rating because of things that are outside of their control such as the parking lot which is in need of desperate repair, but the hours that I can see are very restrictive to anyone who works shift work. As someone who work late at night getting up early in the morning to the afternoon is difficult and I would like to see some wiggle room in there. Perhaps a future dated order program where you can order something to pick up at a time perhaps a future dated order program where you can order something to pick up at a time when simply Jennifer is closed but can come in to pick up pre-made food. Even though I work shift work towards late at night I can guarantee you that I will try and go out of my way in order to eat at this Cafe. The staff that I have seen which I can only assume is the owners are Pleasant, caring, nice, and engaging. They saw that I was suffering from my allergies and gave me two free to use just to take home to try. What other business in the area has done that?

Honestly, as a vegan I am disappointed with the food offered here. It is all handmade by very nice people and occasionally there is something tasty (like the cinnamon rolls), but the vast majority of the food is very flavourless and dry. This type of restaurant is what makes non-vegans think that vegan food is low-quality, so I really wish this restaurant wasn't in my small town which doesn't have any other options. People here will try Simply Jennifer and walk away thinking vegan food tastes like cardboard, but if they went to a vegan place in Ottawa or any other big city then they would see that vegan food should be just as good (better) than any non-vegan option. So unfortunately I have to give 2 stars (generously). Nice people, bad food. Sorry for the negative review.

OMG what a great find. Who knew thst little Cornwall would have a 5 star whole food cafe! Everything is made fresh on site with fresh ingredients. The best place to go if you are suffer from celiac. Their soup is to die for. Amazing selection of gluten free cupcakes..try the chocolate ones. Their lattes are the best I have ever tried (you can get them with either dairy or 5 other non dairy options) Canmot wait to go again.

I am a frequent visitor of this shop and just love the warm and inviting owners. I was in there today after leaving a large chain grocery store in Cornwall where I was treated with poor customer service. Jennifer lent her ear while she made my salted caramel latte. She brightened my day with her vibrant spirit, her laugh and her sensational customer service. I left there feeling amazing with my latte in hand. I never leave the shop without feeling like I just had an experience. It's called customer service and Jennifer knows where it's at.

Not only is the food absolutely delicious but the owners are beyond kind. We were passing through Cornwall and grabbed a yummy bite to eat here when our toddler became sick. They were beyond helpful and so compassionate.
