We enjoyed a terrific lunch at Harbour grounds Café today. It was a beautiful sunny day so we were able to eat on the back balcony that over looks the harbour. The lobster rolls were absolutely terrific and the salad was a terrific appetizer. The staff is friendly and helpful. The service is good. This is a highly recommended experience for someone wishing to have lobster in Corner Brook Newfoundland.

The menu items are always unique and delicious. Try their Beet Coleslaw! So simple and tasty. The coffee is always fresh and hot and desserts all have my name on them, lol. Eat inside or out on the patio with a great view of The Bay of Island. You might even see whales!

We stopped here twice during pur time in New Foundland. First time for lunch and we opted for the corn chowder and the hearty chili, both were fabulous. This morning we stopped for breakfast we had the breakfast panini and the breakfast croissants, again delicious. The staff is friendly and hel0ful with all our questions and the cafe itself is bright and welcoming. I took a lemon bar to go, fabulous also my daughter loved the coffee!

We visited to get an iced americano and a plain unsweetened unflavored black iced tea. Americano, no problem. To get the unsweetened iced tea is unusual in Canada, but they very quickly made the glass of tea and added ice. Quite good!! Quick service and friendly. Happily would return.

Service at Harbour Grounds is always excellent and the coffee, food and snacks are always great! My little guy always loves to come to Harbour Grounds for a chocolate chip skor cookie on the weekends and they are always so fresh. If you are visiting town you have to make a point to visit HG's for a coffee and one of their homemade sandwiches. Great place with great staff!

My favorite place in Corner Brook during my visit - this cafe is good and is on par with cafés in bigger cities - it's not simply good for Corner Brook - but a great venue, good coffee, great views and decor - loved loved the sandwiches there and coffee was good to!!

Worst service experience in a coffee shop ever. We stopped here on our way to Deer lake for an iced coffee. Not sure if the barista is a bad mood or whatnot, but he was extremely rude to us. The coffee came with sweetener in it, which we did not ask for. He said their iced coffee comes with vanilla syrup, and educated us that we should have asked about it before ordering. Even if it is a local norm that we were not aware of, he did not have to give us such an attitude. He also made sure that he took the first cup of coffee back and dumped it, so that he could reuse that exact cup to make us another coffee. The shop looked nice though.

I just love harbour grounds. It is a quaint cafe with tons of local spirit! You can find here exactly what you’d expect of a cafe: great coffee and lattes, home made soups and sandwiches, a rotating lunch menu, great baked goods! I personally love the partridge berry scones and turkey soup. It has nice views of the bay, and always friendly staff. The price point is also pretty much bang on. 10$ will get you a coffee and snack with a tip. About 15$ for a meal.

Friendly service, great atmosphere, lovely view-even better in the Summer when you can sit outside on the deck. They serve drinks in large mugs (love the London Fog!) Or mason jars (the raspberry lemonade is perfect for a hot Summer day) and they have a daily special, sandwiches, soups, and baked goods. They offer soy and almond milk which is wonderful but I do wish they had plant based options. Otherwise a great spot!
