These people are great! I'm only going to go here from now on for the delicious meats and poultry! The owner is active in the community and their products are from local farmers and bakers. SHOP LOCAL! You've GOT to try them out! Their fresh chicken comes from Rossdown Farms.

We live in Chicago and called all around looking for a high quality butcher that would deliver meats to our father in-law for father’s day in Sardis. The Town Butcher was so helpful! While deliveries are not a normal service they offer, they were willing to do it. My in-laws were so impressed with the timeliness of the delivery and the quality of all the meat. It was the best they have ever had. Thank you!

The Best Butcher in the province of BC! I stopped in during a trip to the lake. Never in my life have I had better quality meat. Everything in there is absolutely unreal... including their pasta salad. The quality of the meat is top of the line and everything is so fresh and presented neatly in the cases. They also have so many marinades and sauces from local brands. The young staff working in there were so friendly and helpful too. I can't wait to go back!

THE BEST butcher in town for all your quality, grass-fed, organic, gluten-free meats and deli items, along with baked goods from Jul's and other local items. Bill Turnbull has a heart of gold for community, helping those in need with his monthly prize draws of full hampers. Having done business with him for his website design and marketing, I've come to know and respect him for his business values and practices. Great quality meats - lots of different types of sausages available (duck, turkey, beef, pork, chicken, etc.) Also have a good selection of spices, rubs, sauces, and more. The prime rib burgers sell out quickly and it's obvious why.

What a wonderful shop, we order oysters from then a few times per year which are amazing. Great service and great beef. Yes the prices are slightly higher however this is all organic grass fed cattle not like buying your beef from Safeway. Great place to stop off along the way for dinner ideas.

I am very disappointed with their mask policy. I stopped by today to pick up something for dinner and noticed their sign stating masks are mandatory, but just let us know if you have an exemption. The sign also states there’s no need to provide proof of your exemption. So basically they’re saying masks are not mandatory because anyone who doesn’t want to wear a mask just needs to say they have an exemption, no questions asked. Glad I stopped by and read their sign - with their blatant disregard for the safety of their staff and customers, I definitely won’t be shopping here again.

Due to my serious dietary restrictions I can always count on being able to get something to eat at The Town Butcher. He carries all sorts of gluten free products and he has helped me with antibiotic free and grass fed chicken and beef. I LOVE this place. Well worth it.

Agree with others that these prices are outta line. I paid 15 dollars for 4 twice baked potatoes ( a total of 2 potatoes cut in half). Huh??!! I coulda gone to the Jolly Miller Pub down the road and had 2 orders of Potato skins served to me for the same price!

Treat yourself and your guests to something special. I've tried their tenderloin, halibut, rolled flank steak, farmer sausage and bacon ends so far. I also picked up some sauerkraut and truffle oil from their specialty goods. All were excellent. The staff have made great suggestions.

Quality meat that tastes so good! Far superior quality to the other butcher in town. Prices are very high, unaffordable if you shopped here every day, but fine for special occasions (about $25 per serving).
