I went into today and ordered a Matcha Frappe with soy milk. I ordered it to go and hadn't tasted it before I left. It tasted like vanilla. There was no taste of Matcha at all. I was really disappointed as I was too busy to go back to ask them to remake it. I'm pretty sure that the barista used vanilla flavored soy milk instead of original. I wasn't able to finish it as it was not appetizing at all.

Usually stop in Hope but decided to try Chilliwack - glad we did - SaraBella's is surprisingly nice. Nice decor - amazing variety of gluten free cakes just as you walk in the door and good coffee. Our recommendation is the blueberry, lemon and poppyseed cake!

Since moving to Chilliwack, two years ago, SaraBella's has made living here feel like home. The staff are so kind and they take the time to get to know their customers on a personal level. When you are greeted by name and every staff member knows exactly what your favourite coffee is, that's pretty special. The atmosphere is calming and aesthetically pleasing. There is lots of seating, whether you are looking for a table and chair setting or a comfy couch to snuggle up and read a book on, they have it all. You can even settle in and play one of the many board games that they have. My husband and I like playing a game of Scrabble, while enjoying our coffee. And the food....... well the food is AMAZING! From the coffees and teas, to the savoury and sweet offerings, you'll never be disappointed. A lot of care and attention goes into everything they make and it really shows; the food is delicious! And, it feels so good to be able to support a local business run by people who really have a heart for what they do. I just love this place!

I like the idea of having a place I can eat treats with my various allergy issues but I am blown away by how excessive the sweetness is. It almost feels like the sweetness is purposely strong in order to mask the fact it’s gluten, nut and dairy free possibly. I looked so forward to a place I could go and enjoy but both my wife and I couldn’t finish the treats we bought due to how over the top in sweetness they were. Truly too bad.

I've been here probably 10 times now so can give a fair review. Why 10 times if I'm giving it 1 star? Because at first they were so new that bad service and mess ups were excusable - it's been long enough now that it should be better. Between staff ignoring me and leaving me standing at the till while they chat, being overcharged, literally half full coffees, inconsistent baking, and mediocre food - this wont be a regular spot for me. Which is too bad because there really is no other place to go for a treat later in the evening in Chilliwack. Last time I went I got a piece of cake to go and the guy stuffed it into a tiny box with a spatula and crammed it so hard it looked inedible. This place has so much potential but seems the owner needs to really focus on quality and customer service with their staff.

Their food may be good but their customer is not I went there today with my fiancé and he has a mask exemption and they would not take that into consideration and refused to serve him. We will never go there again even thou its the only place he can get treats as he is both gluten and lactose intolerant

Their selection is lacking (they’re often out of the mini desserts), the dining area has been closed indefinitely, and they don’t offer masks even though they enforce the mandate. Unfortunately, it’s no longer a local business I want to support. Tasty sweets, but sour service.

The Chai spice zuchini loaf is amazing and for breakfast they always have these individual tasty quiche’s which are very unique and tasty. I’m lucky to work across the street, very convenient, but even if I didn’t, I would go out of my way to get that Americano!

Wow, these guys have done an amazing job on their menu. I wish this place was closer to home, but if you're passing by on Hwy 1 and in search of a Gluten Free meal or baking, this place is worth the time to take the exit. I ordered a yummy & filling salad to go plus some fresh baking... for someone who can't eat gluten, I was blown-away impressed that I could do this in Chilliwack. I hope to return and eat-in next time.

The place is clean (bathrooms included), prices are okay and the service is good as well (no table service though here, I mean the cashiers are nice)! If you want waffles, be sure to get here before 10am!

We stop here everytime we drive to Vancouver. The coffee is excellent, the food is excellent, and the baking is heavenly. I love the tiny cupcakes so I can have a bite size treat without going overboard. It's very cozy, would be a great lunch date or spot to get some work done.

Everything is gluten free here & they have a vegan selection as well. I took my parents & grandparents here for lunch & it was a hit n miss for the crew. My mom & Gpa were not big fans of the bread their sandwiches were served on. The owner did mention she was working on a new recipe. The salads were hits. Sweets were also a hit. My other Gpa has celiac so I purchased a box of goodies to bring him. Will update with his review. I was a bit disappointed to learn not all the goods were fresh baked that same day as he won't be able to eat all right away. And they don't yet make breakfast options when they open at 7am.

A great location, lots of parking. Inside is clean with plenty of room and seating. We've tried the bacon avocado panini and the kale salad. The salad is my favourite. Their baked goods are fresh and everything tastes so good. Vegan and gluten free options. I recommend the snickerdoodle or lemon cupcakes! The coffee is a perfect accompaniment to their food items.

As someone who is lactose and gluten intolerant coming across this cafe on our way home from vancouver was a god sent. Lots of variety for food, only serve gluten free and vegan options are available with their cupcakes... Which are DELISH!! If I'm ever in Chilliwack i would hands down be going there. Superb customer service when they accidently put cheese on my sandwich due to miss communication on my part. The gentleman that made my sandwich made me a new one and gave me a free beverage card. ????????

I ordered a custom cake for my fiancé's birthday and not only was it beautifully made and decorated; the flavours were amazing and the texture of the cake was perfect. We got the Harvest Apple Chai cake with a Salted Caramel icing and it was amazing with bits of actual spiced apple in the cake. Will definitely order again.

I like the atmosphere of this cafe and spend some time to relax, enjoy some great food and drinks. The staff is very friendly and you feel welcome . The only let said very limited choices is in vegan desserts. Often the answer is: "sorry, no vegan desserts today". . The only time in 5 months period of time I was able to taste a vegan dessert was like a chocolate brownie too much sugary in my personal taste ... the only negative experience I had ... There are tons of delicious vegan desserts recipe with some tasting not to sugarish. If you add more vegan desserts on your menu definitely I will give a try to all or some of them.

The staff are very friendly and there's lots of great food options. They also use Clearbrook Coffee as their coffee provider and that means they gave the best coffee in town. It also has a nice atmosphere and very comfy seats. Would highly recommend this place for anything from a date to just stopping by for a great cup of coffee on your way to work

My daughter is allergic to gluten and dairy, so finding this gem of a place was wonderful. Everything is gluten free, and most of the desserts were also vegan, which meant she could eat most things. Everything was very good, but the salad dressing and cupcakes were the standouts. We all look forward to our next trip to Chiliwack and SaraBella's.

I loved that they had a bookshelf full of games to play. We played all sorts of games until they told us they were closing! I got white hot chocolate and a s'more brookie while I was there and I couldn't even tell it was different from normal food, in fact it tasted even better! For me, Veronica's hospitality and warmth gets 5-stars from my wife and me, and I'd return just for her service! Thoroughly enjoyed the massive Southwest Salad and the lightly spicy coconut lentil/chickpea curry soup, oh so yummy! My wife enjoyed the turkey bacon sandwich and chicken gumbo soup. Their vegan mini cupcakes are just the thing you need for a little sweet indulgence, and that's what I had for dessert, with a sidekick of heated up slice of banana loaf :-) Consistently enjoy their ambience and warm hospitality! Free WiFi here too.

Great find here in Chilliwack for us gluten-free lifestyle embracers although very pricey. Clean and bright facility, friendly staff, and their own GF mix with no weird taste like some others we've found. Baked goods are tasty, a little bit too sweet but otherwise very nice. We did find their large cake slice (lemon) a little underdone in the middle, needed additional baking time, but otherwise the cupcakes, cookies, loaves, all great! Coffee is well-made too, did a nice job of our decaf Americanos. Recommended for anyone who needs or prefers gluten free.

I don't have a gluten or nut allergy but still love coming here as the food is amazing! The nachos are a-mazing!! It has become a Sunday morning ritual before church. The only thing that could make this place better is if we were playing Mad Max: Fury Road on repeat all day long. I guess some people are sensitive to that type of thing when they're trying to study or relax at a coffee shop. Dang. That being said... ...they've got the slickest tables you've ever seen. Seriously, that clear coat is slicker than a bowling ball. If you come in, don't leave without taking the chance to rub your beard up and down these sexy tables. Also, coconut whipping cream (dairy free) for your mochas, so that's pretty bloody fantastic. Very allergy friendly.

Loved the ambiance of the place, but the sandwiches were an extreme let down, there was a blonde hair on my food when I got it. But what disappointed me even more was how small the portion sizes of our lunches were and how skimpy the meal was. I order the vegan curry sandwich and my husband ordered the vegan taco panini, both had very little substance and very little flavor. I ate my sandwich in under five bites...was super disappointed. We paid adult prices for child sized portions.

From the London fog, double chocolate, lemon, sea salt caramel,pina colada or chocolate Chai each was unique and amazing. I have been to many GF bakeries over the years in Canada and throughout Europe... and this by far has been my favorite .Can't wait to return and buy some of their pre-made flours, muffin mixes etc.

SO impressed with the staff! I went to Sarabella's for the first time last night (November 27th). I ordered a sandwich and 2 cupcakes the girl at the till was super down to earth and friendly definitely made me feel welcome and comfortable. Unfortunately the debit machine would not connect (?) I tried 3 different cards and it still wouldn't process the payment so she gave me the items for FREE. She didn't have to but insisted. After tipping all the cash I had because of her generosity I waited for my sandwich. The second girl making it was also super friendly and we chatted while she made it, it looked beautiful! (and tasted just as good) it was just a sandwich but she took the time to make my experience above and beyond. The two girls are the reason I will be coming back for sure and I hope the rest of the staff is just as amazing because it does make a world of a difference to your customers! Thank you to the two lovely ladies!

Finally a place where I can be spoiled with bakery treats! Have many food allergies yet their menu is safe for me. Tried the chocolate chip banana bread, delicious! Recommend to anyone with food allergies/sensitivities. It is a little too far from home for me to visit regularly, but when I'm out that way I will be stopping in again!

Sara Bella’s is a good place to go have coffee and sit, although you can’t sit right now because of COVID19. I really like the place, the only thing I don’t like is the price of stuff. It’s a tad too high. Other than that it’s good tasty snacks and food. Nachos are good too but again way too much. If you want good fairly priced nachos, you’re better off to goto the airport cafe.

I absolutely love this cafe! Their treats and coffee are delicious and their staff are always super friendly. My partner has a severe nut allergy and it's so nice knowing there is a place in town where it's safe for him to eat anything on the menu. I can't recommend Sarabella's ebough.

I have never posted a negative review before, but sadly this one is a long time coming. As a customer, outside observer, and parent of an employee recently/callously let go, I no longer feel obligated to stay silent. Over the past 6 months I would repeatedly receive very under cooked scones (literally raw centers) and other baked goods, sandwiches literally falling apart from to much dressing/sauce applied, endured ridiculous price points for exchanging out milk with coconut milk (and as one who purchases these products for my own household I know the price margins extremely well) and towards the end, had to stop ordering any of the items with icing, as the amount of sugar used in the recipes would induce headaches. Yet I loyally tried to support with my financial patronage both company and workers. The most disturbing incident involved having to listen to those in charge being extremely unprofessional in bad mouthing the nearest competitive gluten free shops, even though they were not in the same town. Adult to "adult" I found that very awkward, and left very quickly. Closer to home, the unfair treatment of an employee who is widely known for her personal integrity and hard work ethic was simply the last straw. Sara Bella's has lost both my (and what was a large family/friends based contingent) loyalty and customer patronage. While now understanding the standards of integrity of the company, I'm doubtful this post will be allowed to stand, I would hope that some might see and read knowing that there are alternative and safe Gluten free/Celiac safe restaurants, such as Polly Fox - just 20 mins, away off Sumas exit in Abbotsford. Perhaps Sara Bella's will humbly learn from their mistakes and going forward grow with more effort on behalf of both their customer base and staff, but as for me and mine, we will happily be moving on. One extremely disappointed X-customer

I am always happy with SaraBella's. Their cupcakes are delicious and their staff are friendly. They have good coffee, though sometimes it's a bit weak. Their cafe is beautiful and always has wonderful local art to admire. I would definitely recommend, to either meet friends, or spend the afternoon studying.

Sara Bellas has all gluten free choices on menus. Easy also to ask for dairy free. Relaxed coffee house. Can come and play games there (supplied) or read or visit. Very personable staff and delicious variety of foods.

Sara Bellas is now my favorite place to go for coffee! I love that everything on menu is gluten free. I tried the orange cranberry muffins and the raspberry lemon loaf ❤. I ordered the small nachos for lunch and it was loaded!!! I had ordered nachos at another place the day before and it was disappointing in comparison! =) Only if Sara Bellas had drive thru, it would be the only place I go for coffee ;) lol.

This is a fantastic coffee shop and lunch spot. They have many vegan options and are mainly (completely?) nut free. They have great coffee and baking and also do a lot of take home options like pizza, soups, bake at home cookies that are all great. Also they do custom cakes, vegan and regular with a huge selection of flavours for both the cake and icing. They are really really good and I recommend trying them. On top of the great product, there is a great team of people at this shop that are always very great to chat with.

I am at a cross-road with SaraBella's as the food is very tasty and good, but today I ordered a sandwich and was the only one waiting for food. I couldn't believe how long it took to make this sandwich, which was guacamole and bacon. Of course the price was a killer - $16.80 - now I am fully aware that you are charged more because its gluten free, but still this is kind of ridiculous, especially for the portion size you get. Once my meal was handed to me, the sandwich was pityfully small (did they not know you can purchase wide gluten free bread at Save-On for less than $7.00 a loaf) and the kale salad that came with it was additionally small. I should've taken a picture of it, but didn't think of that until later (unfortunately) - as one would think you would get more for $15.00 plus tax. I would always go to SaraBella's as a "treat" because of their prices, but now I think I'll just stick to Chopped Leaf where you can get a gluten-free wrap for the same price that is soooo big, you can cut it in half and make two meals out of it. It's too bad because SaraBella's food is tasty, but sorry the price is just too high for the portion size you get.

It’s not only the amazing vegan treats that keep me coming back time and time again - but it’s also the SaraBellas team that truly makes it feel like the best cafe in the Fraser valley. Steph and Kat will literally go above and beyond to make sure that your experience is phenomenal and will make sure you leave with a smile on your face (or in my case some vegan espresso brownie crumbs from devouring it as they whip up my coffee). The bakers do an amazing job with creating one of a kind vegan treats (so much so that my husband and I come up with excuses to order their vegan cake... no joke, we ordered one when we got our new couch delivered). If you are in the Fraser valley definitely hit them up, you’ll be glad you did!

It's nice here. I've tried like 10 different baked items and the brownies are always a safe bet. Cupcakes are meh in my opinion. Drinks are what you'd expect of any coffee shop. It's pretty clean here. The staff is nicer than some of the snootier coffee places. Environment is welcoming and there's board games, so you could hang out here for a while.

Staff are super nice. The cupcake / cakes are good. The batter isnt the absolute best but I havnt had that many gluten free cakes- I shop there for the vegan reason. The icing is always great. This place is a good (maybe the only) option for on the go vegan treats. They also let me use my own container instead of taking a to go one so for zero wasters this is a good option.

Just paid almost $5 for what I thought would be a chocolate frappe. Tasted like freezer burnt chocolate ice cream. Asked if they could substitute the milk and they said yes.... they gave me whole cows milk and I said I am allergic. Guess I will stick with Starbucks. Thanks for the awful stomachache :(

Great GF cafe in Chilliwack! Nice setting with chairs and soft chairs and sofas. Pannini's were good however bread was a bit hard to eat. I have had better breads recently such as from Care Bakery. Regardless it was wonderful to go to and support a GF business!
