What a great little find this place was! A varied selection of European selections that had me looking forward to my next visit already. If your in Chatham or passing through, check this place out; even if you're not hungry. Pretty sure you will be after seeing foot inside. Enjoy!

specialty items are great. lunch buffet is extremely pricey. $17 for a small plate.. they bill by weight which is misleading, and the only good items are the ribs and sausage. terrible experience, never returning for lunch

first time I had been to a Dutch store so it was interesting to see the products, the clogs and foods they eat. It was a little expensive for me for general food products and take away, but it was a nice place to visit.

Wow. Was pleasantly surprised at what a wonderful lunch experience I had at the Dutch Market. Delicious home cooked dishes from a buffet that you pay by the weight. I chose: cut with a plastic fork roast beef, buttery mash potatoes, cabbage roll, mushroom gravy and roasted veg - memories of my grandmothers European cooking. Missing on the buffet are Dutch Indonesian dishes featuring all the great spices and sauces they sell. Modern seating area made me enjoy my boxed lunch even better.

So many things, great place to shopping. Fresh vegetables, fresh food. Bakery section was the best in town which has so many choices. They have some good deals too. Nice location with a lot of parking lots.

Stopped in for a quick shop and stayed for a quick bite. Had the burger with Gouda and mushrooms and onions and also a beef croquet. Both were very tasty and the staff was very nice and friendly.

As former Chatham residents we make it a point to stop by the Dutch Market when we travel by on the 401. The new location is very well done, it is open and welcoming with a well thought out layout. There is an expanded frozen section and of course the pastries are still amazing. It does look like there is room to expand as their downtown clientele find them. We were here on a Saturday morning and it was not busy at all. It is a beautiful location with a lot of potential.

I always enjoy shopping at a deli with Dutch products as my ancesters are from Holland. This store is beautifully laid out with a large variety of goods, plus a nice eating area if you decide you'd like a cup of coffee with a pastry!

They have pretty good deals, Definitely recommend to look at the prices and the tags and to watch how much you put on your plate at the buffet. I have been to the Dutch Market several times with my children and without. This is a beautiful place to shop for grocerys, eat lunch, or stop for a special treat for the kids. The staff are incredibly welcoming and the white bread is incredibly soft and fresh!

(Translated) Great to stock up on Calvé peanut butter and Napoleon candies in Canada again. The best thing about the store is the warm bakery. The apple pie with gingerbread spices in the dough tastes fantastic. What I found a bit strange is that there is no Douwe Egberts coffee or Venz chocolate sprinkles. The added value of the tiny fruit and vegetable department is not entirely clear to me, since I think you can find all herbs and vegetables for Dutch cuisine in the normal Canadian supermarket, except perhaps endive and chicory, but I didn't see them here either. (Original) Geweldig om in Canada weer even Calvé-pindakaas en Napoleon-snoepjes in te slaan. Het mooiste aan de winkel is de warme bakkerij. De appeltaart met speculaaskruiden in het deeg smaakt fantastisch. Wat ik wel een beetje vreemd vond is dat er geen Douwe Egberts-koffie of Venz-hagelslag te vinden is. De meerwaarde van de petieterige groenten- en fruitafdeling is me niet helemaal duidelijk aangezien je volgens mij alle kruiden en groenten voor de Nederlandse keuken ook in de normale Canadese supermarkt kunt vinden, behalve wellicht andijvie en witlof, maar die zag ik hier ook niet.
