It's not too often that one finds doughnuts a mainstay of bakeries, at least not anymore, but when they are there, they usually seem to be good. Very good. This can without a doubt be said of Pinnell's, which not only had some very good doughnuts, but might actually have some of the best -- if not the best -- doughnuts in Ontario -- "Mimi's Cake Tour"

Always great service and outstanding donuts, pastries, cookies, pies, bread. Had chocolates for Easter. No sandwiches at this time with Covid. Love stopping here to grab items to enjoy for a picnic lunch or to savour on the trail, while in the area.

I have been going here for years, decades actually. The quality has never decreased. A large variety of fresh bread, donuts, tarts, cookies and pies. Try the honey dipped fresh in the morning...they're delicious! You won't find a donut like this anywhere!!

Awesome doughnuts. Arrive early when things are coming out of the oven and you will not be disappointed. Pinnell's has been in the community for a long time and there's a reason why, they are awesome.

The honey dipped donuts are a local treasure. After 2 you may want to try an apple fritter. Then buy some Dutch Gouda. Or a pie. Excellent bakery Coffee too

If you're looking for an amazing assortment of fresh-made pastries, cakes, cookies and even a few savoury treats, look no further. The staff are friendly and hospitable, the desserts are absolutely delicious and the prices are so reasonable. You'd expect to pay 2-3x more in a large city for the quality of what you're getting here. If you live here or are just passing through, definitely worth a quick pit stop. So, so good.

Very kind and friendly owners at the bakery. We bought cream puffs, Victoria's, pumpkin and coconut tarts. Taste was ok, tasted like any large grocery store bakery unfortunately. So far best bakery tried was at Goderich (Culbert bakery - drove 2 hours just to get their pastry).

Got to Pinnells just as it opened and the honey dip donuts were still warm and super fresh. Mmmmmm. The apple fitters were also amazing. Donuts, breads, cookies all made fresh and looked delicious. A great way to start the morning but we will stop in any time we are driving by on the 401. Note that they can run out of donuts late in the day so go early and go often !

I've been going to this bakery ever since I was a small child. Everyone there got well acquainted with my sister and I, and were always the very best. I look forward to the day I can return and get some of my favourite comfort- their pastries, etc. always helped to make me feel better.

This is a hidden gem in a small town. Pinell's is a wonderful home-style bakery in the heart of Ridgetown with a conspicuous lime green sign. I haven't had anything bad from here, but they are known for their donuts, particularly the apple fritter and honey dip. These 2 are must-trys and are often sold-out early (especially during the school year). There is bread, tarts, cookies, turnovers and other delicious goodies as well. Inside are a few tables and the place is never empty. The prices are reasonable and the service is excellent. I stop here every time I pass through ridgetown.

I know the sign brags about their honey dip donuts, but the real legend is "the Apple Fritter". Get there early for the fritters or your missing out! Everything they make here is delicious!
