Went out there specifically to purchase butter tarts. I had heard they were the absolute best. I wasn’t disappointed. Raisin-free butter tarts, fluffy pastry and delicious filling. I’m glad it’s a 20 minute drive from my house or I’d end up with a butter tart addiction. We also had ice cream there. Limited selection of flavours, but they had the basics and what more can we ask of a village market shop.

Staff are very friendly and thoughtful. My coworkers and I had an box of cookies given to us as a gift. Unfortunately one of our coworkers is allergic to cinnamon and after a phone call to the Country Market we confirmed these cookies had cinnamon in them. We did not expect anything from the phone call just confirmation on the ingredients. However an hour later we had another box of cookies specially delivered to our work that met my coworkers dietary restrictions. The Kent Bridge Country Market truly went above and beyond. P.S. Their cookies are delicious.

A quaint little place filled with fresh foods like pastries, meat, and cheese, with some decor items. I wished it was a little bigger, but for a small business they offered a decent selection of things. Parking is a little tricky and is off the main road, and they have no washrooms.

This owners of this country store have made some significant changes, for the better! It was always a nice clean store with friendly staff but small. The store has been gutted, new freezers are now along a side wall. The first thing you see when you walk is is their amazing baking and lots of it! Before their space was limited. The subs section is along another wall. ,much bigger case for the meat and lots more room for 2 or 3 ladies to prepare your subs. There was a line up of folks wanting lunch but the line seemed to move quickly. The tills, there are 2 now, are at the end of the sub station. They still have shelves of pantry items, frozen ready made meals, frozen meat, milk etc, as well as a little dining area with 2 small tables. This store is very clean, well stocked and the ladies working are so friendly and courteous! This little store does a booming business and I'm glad they're succeeding in these trying time!

Wonderful discovery on a mini road trrip last Saturday. They have so many healthy options for a small market. We found some delicious muffins and took home some preserves. The saurkraut is awesome. We met John , the owner outside doing some handy work while we sat at a picnic table enjoying our muffins. Salt of the earth kinda guy. We will be sure to stop in next time we are in the area! Jocko

Great little place to get some great frozen meats, especially the smoked pork chops. Also you can get a light lunch, sandwiches and soups and top it off with some tasty home cooked deserts. Coffee is very good too!

We were one of the first (or the first I think) sit down customers. Since then it has grown, and adding new items. The subs are d i v i n e. Lots of choices for meat and sauces, many of the sauces home made. If you get a chance, check out the fresh baked bread. The staff are so lovely and the shop is so wholesome. Glad to see a little corner of Kent Bridge bumpin with activity :) Can't wait to see what the future brings!

A little expensive but once you taste their baked goods you understand why. Made there and the quality is for sure tops. We usually order the pumpkin muffins and the carrot cake. Wife got the date squares for Christmas... dare I say better than mom use to make. And the service by the way is stellar. Smiles and friendly. Also very helpful. We would ho in and see they didn't have what we are looking for early on. A nice young worker took the initiative to approach is and say we can pre order whenever we k ew we would be going by and they would make and have for us put aside.

Drove specifically to Kent Bridge from Wallaceburg to bring my Mom to The Country Market, what a disappointment! We go in, my Mom picks up some pork sausage, baked goods and wanted lunch meat. The worker asked us if we were ready to cash out? We told her we need lunch meat, she walks away and doesn't come back. We stand waiting at the deli counter and four girls in the back look at us but stay back there. We stand there being stared at for 10 minutes and finally put our purchases back and leave. I don't know why no one would come out and help us, it was just weird. ????

The atmosphere here is bright and welcoming. The folks you meet are friendly and helpful. I have stopped here from time to time since they opened the menu has grown significantly. Everything I've tried has been amazing from their Homestyle sandwiches, soups, coffee and a awesome baked goods. (They also have subs and icy cold drinks) Great place to stop away from the city with convenient parking along the well marked street. Just remember not too close to the intersection so the view is clear for traffic coming off of Kent Bridge Road. Thanks for creating this elegant country cafe! I will definitely stop again.

First time visiting this store on June 3rd. Husband and I were looking for just ice cream. Purchased two drumsticks, $6.76. Went outside to eat them, they have been in the freezer probably from last year. They were not editable due to ice cream goes very gummy being freezer burned. They went into the garbage just like my money. They need to replace their ice cream drumsticks, bars etc. because of the age of them.
