Good service during the week. I only go for their almond croissant. Went in today (Sunday) an hour before closing and there was a lineup and a couple of somewhat unprepared-looking employees. I loved the breakfast I had there on the weekend. The make sandwiches and other options. Nothing low calorie as most options are either in a croissant or a pain brioche. I took home a quiche and a loaf of bread that I have enjoy greatly. Cost is very reasonable for the quality. Oh and they make loads of chocolates and take home goodies.

Delicious cakes and pastries! They're not made on site (cakes are brought in frozen), but I'd say it's the best option in Lachine (and probably one of the best in Montreal, alongside other Marius et Fanny locations of course). Coffee is decent enough (depending on who makes it...).

Place looks deserted, shelves are half empty, ordered the 10$ beeakfast. 2 eggs served with McCain potatoes and burned to a crisp toast. My 12 year old cousin made me better breakfast. Toast was crumbling in my mouth. The people working there seems lost and walk around likea those robotic vacuum cleaners. They only brought the fruit salad once we noticed it didn't get served. Perfect place for a breakup.

Awful customer service and everything is overpriced ! Last Tuesday, for my daughter’s 10th bday I called a day prior 6:20 and they mentioned they close a 6pm. I was stuck in traffic and couldn’t make it. Then on Wednesday, the day of her bday, again stuck in traffic from downtown so called around 5:40pm to tell them that I was going to be there 5:55 but if ever to wait for me by 6pm. They replied “sorry we can’t wait for you, we close at 6pm sharp”. I’m in shock, begging to wait for me and again they say no. I explained the situation and again begged as I was with my daughter in the car looking forward to get her a small cake and her macaroons. I asked to talk to the manager and she put me on hold. She came back and replied, “if your gps tell you that you will be here at 5:55pm, then we are still open. The owner says we can’t wait for you and we are closing at 6pm”. I replied, “it’s my daughters 10th bday and I need to get her a small cake and macaroons… I tried to come yesterday and now today… you can’t wait for me if ever I get there by 6 sharp?!” The girl replied again “sorry we are closing at 6pm, we can’t wait… plus we have a meeting at 6pm”!! Wow at this point I am fuming… I get there at 5:55 pm very upset. My daughter takes 2 individual desserts instead of a small cake + her fav macaroons. I go to cash to pay, addressing myself in English to the manager / owner “how much is this?” The manager answers to wait, with a serious attitude problem, in French. I am waiting, while she’s verifying something at the cash. I thought they were in a rush to close LOL I asked again “how much is this?” And she replies in French. I give her cash and she answers in French “no cash”! I am like why can’t I pay in cash? She replies that her cash is closed in French. I relied back saying “well I am paying with cash, are you going to take it or not?” Again, with a huge attitude problem and upset, replies “ok” Already super expensive and then she’s upset that I’m paying cash ?! Two tiny dessert and a small box of macaroons almost 30$!? I’m like wow!! The goods reviews from this place are based on the products but not the service! The worst customer service ever … awful and super overpriced !

$12.88 for a coffee (that was not even ready yet and they had to replace it with a different sort?!) A tea (in a cracked cup, and they had no other clean ones to replace it with so I have to take it it a to-go cup because the dishwasher did not come in yet) and two "pastries" ?!!? Four employees and no one knows how to wash a cup??? And cannot even be bothered to try to speak English. Wow!! Never again !!! I would give zero stars if I could.

The reason I gave two stars is not because the products aren't good. In fact, they are very good. But their delivery guy has a serious attitude problem. I've only had to deal with him twice and both times were an ordeal. He's rude, and talks to you with attitude and always act frustrated with the customer. Their patisseries are very tasty and very fresh. The service is very slow, though, and it seems that they always have new people who are in training serving you. It doesn’t bother me that much but sometimes it can take a while to get your order. I hope the manager sees this and improves it. I don’t think it’s fair to lose a star because of this.

De plus, aucun prix affiché devant les pâtisseries (ou alors dans le désordre!) et aucune indication sur le contenu (il a fallu demander à un vendeur qui m'a décrit une pâtisserie aux fraise et aux amandes alors qu'il s'agissait d'une pâtisserie aux fraises et à la pistache...). Il y a une grande négligence au niveau de la qualité des pâtisseries servies aux clients. 2 fois que nous sommes déçu par Marius&Fanny, et il n'y aura pas de 3e fois, nous n'y retournerons plus.

A little expensive for croissants/pastries in general; however they are fresh and do taste great. Worth the money? yes and no. Yes if you go early in the day; the pastries sit out all day, in the open. The longer they sit, the faster they dry out. No if you go later in the day, in the afternoon.
