The cakes are amazing, fresh and moist. Mama J was so gracious. I came to her with a last minute order. Though she normally does not do last minute orders (less than 24 hours) she was kind enough to help me out. Saved my work b-day party.

Mama J's cakes are the best cakes I have ever tasted hands down. I was introduced to Mama J's cakes at work around 5 years ago. She brought a cake to work and everyone fell in love with her cake, so much so that our boss decided that every time we had a new class of employees, we would order a different kind of cake. I was fortunate enough to have tasted her chocolate , key lime, carrot and raspberry cake. They were all so delicious. My grand daughter had her 2nd birthday party and the family was looking for something besides the average birthday cake. Mama J nailed it with the Peppa Pig chocolate banana cheese cake. The entire family were raving and I still have family members asking who and where can they get another one!!! A definite hit.

I ordered the southern US-style Sweet Potato Pecan Crumble Cheesecake from Mama J last Friday and picked it up Tuesday-what a quick turnaround! Mama J was such a delight to speak to over the phone and in person. I called her before once I arrived so we could socially distance while she transferred the cake to me. She even helped me get my cake into my bag! Mama J had said she would look forward to cooking my cake with love and care. And I felt it. All of the textures and flavors matched together so well, yet I could also eat a layer by itself and still be satisfied. From top to bottom are the pecan crumble, sweet potato, cheesecake, and more pecan crumble ???? Simply put, it's the best cheesecake I've ever had. I highly recommend Mama J if you're looking for a professional baker who infuses her warmth and essence into her cakes. I can't wait for my next Mama J cake!
