Its nice to have a local bagel shop and they are better than grocery store offerings, however they aren't as good as the one's I used to get when I lived in the city. Note that sizing and toppings are inconsistent.

Long story short: I need to uproot my entire life now and buy real estate near Château Bagel so that I can eat at Château Bagel every single day. p.s. I have been to many diffrent bagel shops in the region and also out of province. These bagels are truly unique and deliciouse. The family owned business has everything to offer from bagels to jamaican patties, with an A1 customer serivce. Thumbs up for Chateau Bagel!

Traditional recipe and baking techniques insure that you'll get the taste you crave that is just as good as ''the others'', without having to drive to the city. Highly recommended!

I visited to try it out and the girl in the counter seemed unhappy that I wanted to take JUST one bagel. It you don't buy a dozen you are not welcomed it seems. She was pushing me to get six bagels????... Bagel was good and fresh from the oven, but I didnt like customer service so not going back.

I live in Kingston Ont. when ever I visit my folks in Ormstown I make to extra drive and pick up 5-6 dozen. well worth the 3 hr drive just for the Bagel (Don't tell my parents that), I use to get them St-Viateur bagel but this place is far better. I lived in Australia for 20 years with OUT bagels and I tell you I have hunted down bagels for a long time and this place is one of the BEST.
