It was a nice day at the Guyon farm. You can have a taste of the countryside just some few minutes from Montreal. The staff was very nice and welcome. They have a big market with great variety of products, but we went specially for the animals and butterflies. We tried the honey too and it is delicious.

Really worth to visit this farm because you have a special section there with butterflies. I never saw big ones like this, you just enter in the special room and they are flying around you, it is an amazing experience. On the other corner of the farm they have animals and staff there could take a rabbit or chicken and you can touch them. They have also big store near the farm where you can buy literally all kinds of stuff starting from plants and finishing by grocery. We have enjoyed the visit and recommend you to pass by if you have a chance.

The goal being mainly to bring you into the huge lobby store where they sell all kinds of tantalizing products at an exorbitant price. I would not go back! (Original) J'ai été très déçue par ma visite aujourd'hui. Je trouve ça quand même un peu cher pour voir 5 enclos à animaux et une dizaine de papillons, qui plus est, tous abimés... Quand on vend 500 espèces de papillons à ses clients c'est franchement dommage de découvrir ça ! Je trouve qu'il n'y a aucun encadrement, les enfants font ce qu'ils veulent avec les animaux et c'est bien triste de voir dans quel état sont les papillons. Il n'y a pour certaines personnes aucun respect de l'animal. Si les parents s'en foutent royalement les enfants sont loin d'être délicat avec ces pauvres animaux... C'est vraiment petit, le tour est fait en moins d'une heure. Le but étant principalement de vous amenez dans l'immense hall d'entrée magasin ou ils vendent toutes sortes de produits alléchants à un prix exorbitants. Je n'y retournerais pas !

A few weeks ago we visited Ferme Guyon for the first time. Was pleasantly surprised by the great selection of Quebec local products.. this being said found that the groceries portion of things was quite expensive.. Neverthless we purchased multiple things, including a breastcancer « support » mug for a family member who battled and won her fight.. At the cash we inspected the said mug, all was fine. Unfortunately, when we offered the present, our family member noticed it was damaged near the handle.. No problem we said, we will get you a new one.. We returned to the Guyon ferme, receipt in hand & gift box, to do an exchange... Well guess what, we literally had to argue with the manager to get an exchange. She wouldn’t let us complete the exchange, stating it was our fault and we would have broken it..Quite pathetic.. I don’t have a tendency of buying pink mugs for decoration, there was clearly a cause behind this purchase. Really unfortunate situation that made it clear that I would never return to this store and also discourage my friends and family members to visit. What ever the situation is, as a business owner just remember that the customer is “always right”...

I'm giving 2 stars because I love the local products at this store. I've been going for about 10 years for various purposes, the butterflies, the animals, the meat, the beer, the plants but trust this when I say that I go for the products and NOT the staff. The service sucks there! I've never written a review here before but I felt the need to this time, since my dad was refused access to the store for being in a motorized wheelchair. The staff asked him to take a regular wheelchair that they have there, he declined saying that he is not capable of using those wheelchairs and left embarrassed. My mother and I made a complaint to HR, where we were told they'd allow us this time..in a very defensive tone.
