Today, my sister introduced me to this little gem! It offers gluten-free and vegan desserts to die for as well as regular pastries. They currently have this promotion that if you are a student, for $10 taxes included, you can choose a drink, a meal and a variety of selected dessert! and for $14 taxes included you get the same thing but choose the dessert you want, including cheesecakes! The owners are very friendly and the service is excellent. I wish this place had been open during the time I was attending Heritage (Class of 2012).

I went for a walk this afternoon and decided to give this little café a try. To my surprise, the interior is very well kept and the decor is really cute. Ordered a croissant and chai latte and it was fantastic. So much better and no comparison to your local Starbucks or Tim Hortons. They have lots of beautiful French desserts and ready made lunch meals. The staff is very friendly, inviting and enjoy a little conversation. This little café will become my new place to stop while taking a little walk to get some fresh air. I will definitely recommend this little café to friends and family, even more so now with the pandemic, we need to support our small local businesses!

Au Café Gourmand. It's a must. You know that coffee shop around the corner that you tell yourself. Hmm, how's the coffee there. Well, That's the coffee shop that you HAVE to stop by. I can't tell you about the coffee since everybody's taste buds are different. You like strong coffee, go for it. Hey, you want a soya latte, they have it. Pastries? Best friend of coffee! You're vegan or you don't want lactose or you're on Keto, they have a few choices. I do recommend the peanut butter cookie (vegan) wow wow wow. The soups... you have to buy the soups and if they have Pho soups take it... take it all. You don't know where to get Portuguese Natas, stop there and get a few of them. They are very good, differently made, but woth every taste of it (and I know, I'm portuguese). Finally, the service, TOP NOTCH. The owner takes very care of her clients. She serves with a smile, even hidden in a mask. It's very hard to find this kind of service in most places. Au Café Gourmand is not a must but a you have to stop at this place.
