Do you like cinnamon rolls, then come early. We were late and missed them today but we did get a fantastic Coconut Cream Pie. The flaky crust is fantastic. The rolls are very good also.

Nice staff but the food has changed over time. Lower quality ingredients (wife bought a lemon pie and the wipe cream was of poor quality). As the wife said, it was not like it used to be

Mary's cinnamon rolls are the best on the planet. They are not smothered in icing, or drowned in sugar, they are just delicious flaky pastry and cinnamon... Absolutely perfect. They are really great about letting you bring your own bags too! If you call in advance and tell them what you want and when you'll be there, they will set it aside for you to come pick up in your own container (everything on the shelves is bagged in single-use soft plastic). Before we leave the island, we always stock up on cinnamon rolls for friends and family back in NYC.

Terrific baked goods! Try the cinnamon rolls! They have a great assortment of fresh baked sweets and breads. They also serve food to go like fried chicken, soups and sandwiches. No place to eat in but a must stop if in Kensington. Uniquely, Mary's also makes homemade dog treats!

Don't go for the pie, go for the Cinnamon rolls. They were very very good. But the pastry for the pie was horrific. So much so we pushed through 3/4 of the blueberry, but could not with the strawberry rhubarb. Throwing food out especially pie is aweful. Pastry Recipe: 2cups flour, 1 cup butter (1/2 butter half lard/shortening if you want), pich of salt, 1tblsp of vingegar mixed with 4 tblsp of ice water. Don't over mix, enough liquid so it just holds together. That's it.

We were staying north of Kensington for a week and we ended up at Mary's four times. Fair prices, delicious food. Get there before noon for best selection. Staff seemed friendly. Highly recommend.

Do not go to Kensington without going to Mary's!!! Best bakery on the island!!!!!! They are busy in the summer so arrive early for your baked goods or call ahead and order. They are seriously the best sweets and bread you will ever eat!!! Highly highly recommend

They ran out of their special which I was looking forward to trying (a little disappointed as it was only 12:30)..but..i bought the chicken noodle soup. Dinner roll was very good It's was tasty, a little over priced for the serving size but I'd get it again!

Quality bakery in Kensington, went in for a few things came out with a lot, lol. The coconut cream pie and strawberry pie were excellent. The skor bars ginger snaps and dinner rolls great also. Next time I am in will go for their cheese bread and outbreak bread
