Great locally owned restaurant. Nice fresh lunch. Popular with the local grey hair crowd. Easy parking. You can see the cooks preparing your meal. Good prices, for large qty. Definitely 2 people could share a meal, with an extra side dish. I had lunch but saw a breakfast dish being served, it was huge.

Comfortable, laid-back atmosphere, feels like walking into Auntie’s kitchen for some lunch. I had the Monte Cristo, it was fantastic and it could have fed two people! Plus the coffee is great and the prices are super reasonable :)

Completely appalled by the rudeness my family and I received and overall disrespect. Ordered a Benny with bacon, when I recieved it with ham I let the server/owner know that I ordered it with bacon and she retaliated and said "no you didn't" in such a rude way. I heard her go to the back and complain to her coworkers about me. I asked her for a side of bacon and she said again that I didn't order it. Ended up being charged for the bacon, and sausages were undercooked. Never going back.

Oh my gosh just eat here! I love the Beachwood Corner Cafe. Large portions for the price you pay and home made feels!! Our food came out really hot, fresh from the stove, amazing. I am a poached egg lover and I make them at home all the time, I must add my egg was perfect. People next to me were raving while we were eating and we were too! Best spot in Campbell River to eat and I always bring my friends & family here!!

I try only to write positive reviews, but I had a pretty negative experience here. As a queer person I felt unwelcome right away. As soon as my Dad & I sat down, an old man came up to our table and handed my Dad a newspaper, he said "Here,now you don't have to look at that." 'That' he was referring to was me. He avoided eye contact with me and left the restaurant. We stayed & ate, the food was decent, large portions and reasonably priced, service was not great. Top notch hollandaise. We will not return here mainly because of the unwanted interaction with a regular customer.

Apology to the owner’s on my behalf for having to write this this. Usually an excellent restaurant, came in with my family and have never been spoken to with such disrespect. I called the restaurant shortly after to give constructive feedback and was spoken to disrespectfully by presumably the same staff member. I have worked in customer service for 3 years and could never imagine speaking to a customer like that. Extremely Disappointed and sad, we used to be regular customers and we would have to highly consider why we would ever choose to go back again.

Walked in, wasn't busy as only one table seated. Not greeted, had to ask if I should choose my seat or wait to be seated. Sat down, waitress was there within a couple of minutes to take my order. After food was delivered I ran out of drink but was never followed up with a refill or asked if I needed anything else. I would have liked a refill and another napkin. Ten minutes after I finished my meal and still no visit to the table for cleanup or a bill. So I went up to pay. No one asked how it was. I paid and said thanks but no response from the staff. First time in a long time I haven't left a tip and it isn't difficult for you to pay 30 seconds more attention to me to recieve 20%.

The Beechwood Cafe is a quaint, clean, friendly place. It has great homecooked style food, very reasonably priced. Serves breakfast all day & has a variety of sandwiches, burgers, soups, fish & chips. All served hot & in a very reasonable time frame. If you're looking for fancy this is probably not the place. If you want honest good eats that you can afford to eat again later this week too, then this is your place. The waitress is named on the menu (Janet) and she'll warn you that you've ordered a "pretty big meal". Do it anyways. Plus it's clean! And most importantly, the tea is made properly.
